🔥 I walked into that auction on my own two feet. Eyes open. Chin up. Ready to sell the one thing I had left and walk away with enough cash to save my brother's life.

I didn't know he was already in the room.

Vadim Sorin — Bratva-born, cold-eyed, built like a man who's never once been told no. He watched another man win me. Then he took me anyway.

Now my brother's debt is paid, my old life is gone, and I belong to a man who looks at me like I'm the first thing he's ever wanted for himself.

The problem isn't that he scares me. The problem is how badly I want him to keep me.

Virgin auction • Obsessive Bratva hero • Breeding kink • Kidnapping • Forced proximity • Guaranteed HEA 🔥

"I wanted that shirt on the floor beside her clothes for the rest of my life."~Vadim🤩

"I wanted to be near enough if you woke afraid. I also wanted you to wake without me in the bed before you decide whether you were angry."~Vadim😯

I had difficulties with this story. It's short, so expect insta feels to happen in a day or two. There's not enough emotional growth, time, or even interactions to label Vadim, a notorious chief of the bratva, the next in line to be Pakham of...., I don't know where this story is taking place. Is it Russia? New York? The story didn't reveal that. Let's go with Chicago. So this enforcer suddenly wants a random unknown lady from a bar? I didn't understand that element.

It started with Nadia 23, a waitress, working hard, burnt out, scraping by with her younger brother Petya, 20, who's getting involved in shady dealings to make fast money with the villian Gennady. So naturally Petya is in debt and it's Nadia who's got three days to come up with 28k or else. It's a gloomy atmosphere. A terrible one. I felt for Nadia trying to protect her kid brother. Yes, that guy acts like a kid, who will be annoying as he acts like a grown up. There's only one option available. To go to an exclusive auction for her v-card.😒 Really? That's the only way out? The villian knows her plan. He's going to win. Now here's the thing, Vadim hangs out at that exclusive(?) Samovar Bar too. I guess to watch over his backyard and the villian. Vadim has never met Nadia, never noticed her, nothing. So to label this man as obsessed is a stretch. But by seeing her, that night, now he's in the game too.👤🎲🎲

I didn't buy it. There's no chemistry. No flirting. Nadia is extremely unlikable. I get she's had a hard life but that attitude, girl nobody owes you anything. She gets *slight spoiler* saved and she's awful, rude, a total smart@$$. It goes on and on. She's nerve-wracking.😮‍💨😮‍💨 Here's my question, she fought him with sarcasm, she can do things on her own, she doesn't need a mob guy protecting or helping her and her immature brother, and Vadim is no better than Gennady... then why is she suddenly kissing him and asking him to touch her, to take her to his room that very same night? Oh she's all about it now.😚😚😚😝 Does that even make sense? Hardly. Mixed signal much?! Girl, that man was never going to force himself on you. If that's what he wanted he would have done it already. He gave her control. She's in his home, his men will watch over her brother, and if he really is awful, then he would be cruel and ruthless from the start, and Vadim isn't. It's a story but unfortunately, it missed the mark. Too many red flags.

The quote I included shows how this man knows her attitude and lash out temperament. And he treats her with nothing but care and respect. Anything he says, and she doesn't like it, she lets him know. Why does he want someone like that for a wife? It's fast y'all. Remember.🤣🤣 I like Vadim. Love is blind.😎☠️

I'm giving him 3 stars b/c that man didn't give up.

Words that kept repeating: I know. I know. I know.😬 You can use it as a drinking game.

Sometimes the writing felt robotic and stiff.

This didn't work for me. But maybe it will work for you. Good luck. Happy reading.*•>§<•*🖤🩷🖤🩷

This story opens with a crushing sense of hopelessness. Nadia’s brother, Petya, owes a debt to a ruthless man, and Gennady knows exactly what he’ll take if Petya can’t pay. With only three days to come up with more money than she’s ever seen in her life, or let Gennady collect in a way she refuses to even imagine, Nadia makes the desperate decision to auction off the only thing she has left of value. What she doesn’t know is that the auction is already rigged. Enter Vadim Sorin. Perhaps the biggest mystery is why Vadim is so fixated on Nadia. There’s no indication he’s a regular at The Samovar Room, and Nadia certainly has no idea who he is. Whatever his reasons, he arrives just in time to snatch her away from the highest bidder. But is she simply trading one nightmare for another? Surprisingly, no. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a more respectful Bratva hero. Vadim handles Nadia with incredible care and patience. He’s also refreshingly honest: he makes no secret of the fact that he wants her, intends to marry her, and very much hopes to have children with her, but only if and when she chooses the same. Honestly? That’s a refreshing change of pace for the genre. Nadia’s reaction to being rescued from a fate worse than…well, you know…was both understandable and utterly baffling. Yes, she’s traumatized and under immense stress, but there were plenty of moments when I wanted to shake some sense into her. It was like she refused to acknowledge that this man saved her, that he fed her, clothed her, gave her a room with a lock on the inside, promised never to touch her without permission, put her brother under his protection, and even arranged for them to speak whenever it was safe. However, the truly ironic part is that less than a day later, Nadia does a complete 180, and all that snark and suspicion simply melt away. Well, that didn’t last long! Still, this book belonged to Vadim. His unwavering respect, endless patience, and gentle devotion completely stole the show for me. I loved that he never pressured Nadia and always left the choice in her hands. Even after their rocky beginning, his commitment to her never faltered, making him one of the sweetest mafia heroes I’ve read in a while. My least favorite character was easily Petya, who spent most of the book alternating between apologizing for his mistakes and trying to get himself killed by confronting the villain. I suppose blood really is thicker than water, because I’m not sure I would have sacrificed nearly as much for him. Overall, this is a fast-paced, instalove Bratva romance that largely succeeds because of its unforgettable male lead. If you’re looking for an alpha hero who’s protective without being overbearing and possessive without trampling boundaries, Vadim is absolutely worth the read.

She sold herself to save her brother. He took her to save her from worse.

Nadia walks into a private auction because every clean option is gone. Her brother’s debt has made her vulnerable, and the man holding the marker wants more than money. She thinks selling herself is the only way to keep Petya alive, even if it costs the last piece of control she has left.

Vadim sees the trap closing around her. Cold, ruthless, and used to rooms bending when he enters, he offers protection that’s as dangerous as it is consuming. He can get Nadia out of one nightmare, but he still has to prove he isn’t another locked door.

Inside Vadim’s guarded world, Nadia refuses to become something men fight over. She’s angry, shaken, and drawn to a man powerful enough to protect her without pretending he’s harmless. He wants forever, but he has to earn every yes from a woman who knows what captivity costs.

Their connection is dark, intimate, and complicated. He’s possessive but restrained, violent for her but careful with her, obsessed without mistaking fear for consent. She wants him, challenges him, and starts to believe choosing him doesn’t mean losing herself.

Nadia moves from sacrifice into ownership of her body, choices, and desire. Vadim can control any room, but with her, protection only matters if her will stays intact. Together, they become something fierce, high-heat, dangerous, tender, and chosen.

An ultra-steamy, dark Bratva romance with forced proximity, auction danger, protective captivity, touch her and die devotion, breeding kink, wife claiming, and a ruthless man who has to earn the difference between possession and control. It’s about survival, autonomy, trauma, obsession, trust, and a love that becomes real because she chooses it with her eyes open, even after fear teaches her to run.

The Elevator Pitch: A desperate sacrifice leads Nadia into a room where men put prices on bodies, but the most dangerous man there refuses to let her become anyone’s prize. Vadim’s protection is ruthless, possessive, and complicated by a hunger he has to prove is different from control. As debt, family loyalty, and desire close around them, Nadia must decide whether choosing him can also mean choosing herself.

Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥 Ultra-Steamy / Erotic Romance

I usually enjoy Bratva romances, and this book was no exception. Even though I could not fully connect with Nadia as a character, I did like her strength and the way she carried herself throughout the story.

I also liked Vadim, especially the way he gave Nadia choices and kept reminding her that she was his wife. That dynamic worked well for me.

Since this was a short book, I can understand the insta-love aspect. The relationship moves very quickly, but considering the length of the story and the way it was introduced from the beginning, it made sense. Still, I wish the book had been a little longer so their relationship could have developed more slowly and with more emotional depth.

Despite being short, the author managed to bring the story together, and I appreciated that. What did not work for me was the writing style. I have been seeing this more often lately, where the writing feels almost like a series of short dialogues and brief sentences, as if reading diary entries. At times, it felt a bit robotic, and that made it harder for me to fully enjoy the story.

Overall, this was a quick Bratva romance with a strong heroine, an obsessed hero, and a fast-moving relationship. I enjoyed parts of it, but the writing style kept me from rating it higher.

Her Unexpected Guardian Angel -
Just as Nadia resigned herself that she was being auctioned off to pay off a debt, she was whisked off by a stranger. Vadim wasn’t going to allow Nadia to be taken by anyone else, so he stepped in to disrupt the event and claimed her. Nadia wasn’t too pleased when she realised what was going on, especially as her brother would be affected. However, Vadim managed to calm her down and their attraction for each other grew the more time they spent together.

Unfortunately, not everyone was happy with Vadim’s actions, which led to threats being made against Nadia and her brother. Even though Nadia was scared about the threats she received, Vadim took it upon himself to deal with the situation, so that her brother would be safe and they could get back on track to building a life together, especially after she received life changing news.

This was a heartfelt, emotional read, with engaging characters and a gripping, action-packed storyline, that was so captivating it was impossible to take a break once I started reading. You will definitely enjoy reading this book and be happy to share it with your friends.

This is a well-written, atmospheric dark romance that delivers exactly what readers of the genre look for: high stakes, strong tension, and a compelling emotional undercurrent. From the opening pages, the story establishes a vivid sense of danger and intrigue, while maintaining a confident, cinematic pace that makes it easy to stay invested.

What stands out most is the author’s ability to balance intensity with readability. The central relationship is written with a clear sense of momentum, and the characters have enough depth to keep the story feeling grounded even as the drama escalates. Fans of protective antiheroes, suspenseful twists, and emotionally charged storytelling will likely find a lot to enjoy here.

Overall, this is a strong pick for readers who enjoy dark romance with an immersive mood, a fast-moving plot, and a satisfyingly dramatic arc. It feels tailored for its audience while still being polished and accessible, making it an easy recommendation for anyone looking for an absorbing, emotionally driven read.

This was a very interesting story... there were some Instalove vibes... which makes sense with it's shorter novella length.

I liked the characters - you really feel for Nadia... she's struggling to make ends meet & then her brother gets in over her head & she has to help him come up with a lot of money in a short amount of time... so she feels she has no option than to sign up for this auction...

I love how Vadim steps in... essentially taking over her protection & provision... it doesn't take Nadia long to get past his overbearing ways & give in to him...

Spice level: 3.5/5

*Bratva billionaire auction romance
*he's a billionaire & the soon to be Pakhan
*obsessive/possessive protective Alpha hero
*she's a virgin
*she helps her brother who's in trouble
*he helps her
*breeding kink
*kidnapping/captivity
*forced proximity
*shorter length
*ends in a HEA

This H certainly did get an upgrade from her current predicament to a man who knew what he wanted. The story is a whole one and I enjoyed the main couple and the side characters as well. So much I do hope we get more from this world.

Her brother put her in a touch spot and a man man was going to take advantage. But our H wasn't having it.

How I wish the two had more time together before they got intimate. I appreciate him knowing that she was it for him but I just wanted that drawn out so much. He did so good and is a man who apparently gets things done right. I am curious about her brother and another character. I wonder if he and a certain someone will get their own book? Or each of them getting their own book? Either way, this was entertaining and I look forward to more.

" I walked into that auction on my own two feet. Eyes open. Chin up. Ready to sell the one thing I had left and walk away with enough cash to save my brother's life."

To protect her brother ,Nadia auctions herself.
But the same evil man threatning her brother wins her.
Enter Vadim Sorin, son of the Bratva Pakhan ,obcessed, protective,he'll burn the world for her....
The author did a good blend of dark romance,insta-love and high stakes
I liked very much to see how protective Vadim was but at the same time respect her choices.
And Nadia, even forced to make hard choices, she kept her chin high with dignity.

Well, this book was definitely not my cup of tea. I love mafia romance, but this book is absolutely NOT it.

I couldn't stand Nadia and Petya. Both of them have this ridiculous level of pride despite having so little going for them. They're poor-ass broke but somehow they act like they're royalty handing out life lessons. The amount of stubbornness and poor decision making was enough to make me want to throw my Kindle across the room.

I know it's fiction, but there comes a point where the characters are so frustrating that I stop caring what happens to them. Instead of rooting for them, I spent most of the book rolling my eyes and questioning their life choices.

In the end, I deleted the book from my Kindle. That's probably the clearest review I can give. Definitely not a book I'll be recommending to any of my friends.

Goodbye, and good riddance.

Stolen & Bred By The Bratva is a steamy Contemporary romance whose FMC Nadia has a big problem that belonged to the brother she loved but has now become hers.
He’d gotten in trouble gambling and now owed twenty-eight thousand to the Bratva and had three days to pay up.
There was only one way for her to come up with that kind of money, the virgin auction.
But the man who holds her brother’s debt knows what she has done and plans on being at the auction to stake his claim.
MMC Vadim Sorin has also been paying attention and makes plans of his own, and will take whats his.
This story was short but Bratva good and I enjoyed the good writing, characters, drama, family dynamics, tension, emotion and passions that made this dark romance an entertaining suspenseful read which did find an HEA.

All I can say is thank god for men like Vadim because he saved Nadia from a fate worse than death. I won’t go too much into the plot but this book had a lot going on especially for Nadia but I loved it and found it a very good read. Nadia is a strong woman and she was determined to do all she could to protect her brother who had a massive gambling debt but when it all seemed helpless she found herself thrust into the world of the Russian Bratva and an ally in Vadim who was willing to protect Nadia and her brother from a situation that could have left them both in hell. This is not the usual type of story that I am used to from Annee Jones but it was very well written and had had a captivating story.

Nadia's determined to do things her own way, and if that means auctioning the one thing she has left of value instead of it being forcibly removed, then at least it's her choice. Vadim is determined to win her and gain her trust before others decide otherwise

“What do you want?” she asked.
I answered before wisdom could interfere. “You.”
Her breath caught.
“But not like they did,” I said. “Not for a night. Not as a price paid to another man. Not bent under debt. I want you in my bed because you came there. I want my ring on your hand because you put it there. I want our son raised knowing his mother stood between monsters and her family before she ever stood beside me.”

A wonderful story with great characters and a HEA.

Nadia loves her brother, but she also knows he's not being truthful about his debt. She works hard to support them both. OK the flat wasn't much, the plumbing was even worse, but it was their home. Now she needed money to pay off her brother's debt. Just what will she do to protect him. Vadim is The Enforcer for his father. His father is Pakhan and everybody knows his rules. But I can't believe what I'm listening too. I will stop this, and save her from a future she doesn't deserve. He knows how he feels about her. But she deserves the choice to be hers. Will Nadia be able to save her brother. At what expense to herself. Can Vadim really save her in time. What will the outcome really mean for Nadia and her brother. This is an easy to read Bratva story with the right amount of spice

Stolen & Bred by the Bratva by Annee Jones is a fast-paced, over-the-top dark mafia romance that delivered an obsessive Bratva hero with a high-heat instalove story. In this novella, we follow the story of the FMC Nadia, a desperate heroine who enters an auction to save her brother, only to catch the attention of the MMC Vadim Sorin a ruthless Bratva billionaire. I enjoyed how the fast pacing of the story, how the chemistry is immediate, and the emotional stakes are straightforward rather than deeply complex. Overall, Stolen & Bred by the Bratva was a dark and spicy romance that gave us the reader a guilty-pleasure read that I couldn't put down.

This was another engaging addition to this multi-author series and I really liked Nadia's determination to save her brother. Sadly, it would come at the cost of herself but little did she know, she had a champion in her corner. Vadim realizes that the baddie set her up to lose, no matter what. Ha! Protective and obsessed, Vadim makes his move and sets about proving that she not only can trust him, but she can let their connection bloom into so much more. This was a high stakes romance with action, suspense, danger and heat as they work their way to a fab HEA.

Nadia put yourself up for sale at the auction to save her brother’s life. The man who bid on her and advises her is awful and immediately Valdim rescued her from him, but keeps her for himself. He wants to prove that he is not a trap and this is not another lock door. He wants Nadia to trust him and he wants her to want to say. Nadia has put in the position to make the choice to either choose him and know it’s the best choice for her or to move on. This is an excellent steamy, dark romance.

If you're looking for an instalove story that's not simple, with some complications and heat along the way, you've found it. I absolutely loved this book. It's darkish, with a morally gray MMC who's a total cinnamon roll for the FMC. A fun book to read when you want a quick break from reality into another world.

Annee Jones has outdone herself this time. The story of Vadim and Nadia was perfect. It was amazing to see Vadim support Nadia's need for autonomy and control of her own destiny. Nadia was also an amazing female character in her strength and support for family while having boundaries. A great read and will make sure that I read more books from this author. Enjoy!!!.

I loved the story from the very beginning and the FMC does not break down no matter what she encounters that would beat down any other normal woman. She kept her head high and through all the disasters that seemed to come her way she got her man who treats her the way she should be treated and lets her be the strong woman she is. Who matches him in every single way. I loved everything about this story. Well-written, chemistry off the charts, and non-stop action. This is a must read!

Nadia is a force to be reckoned with, she stands up for herself with slimy men, her brother (we all know standing up to family is the hardest) and even the "hero" who stole her from a terrible situation. This is a short story and I love that, makes no room for the miscommunication trope that annoys me. MMC, Vadium, is a jerk but is an honest jerk. Just an overall fun read.

Stolen & Bred by the Bratva was an amazing read by Annee Jones. I am a huge fan of steamy mafia romance and Nadia and Vadim's story kept me reading to the very last page. Nadia is struggling to survive thanks to her brother'a debts so she decides to auction the only thing she has to offer. Herself. And she goes from one fire straight into another when she is taken by Vadim Sorin. He will not allow another man to touch what belongs to him. Definitely recommend!
