Rule #1: Don’t trust your instincts. Rule #2: Definitely don’t trust Alphas. Rule #3: Absolutely do not go into heat in a small town full of them.
Guess which rule I break first?
When my suppressants fail, I’m stuck riding out the worst pre-heat of my life in Honeysuckle Grove—while being pursued by:
A broody vineyard owner with a possessive streak A flirty handyman who won’t stop smiling at me And a single dad who looks at me like I already belong to him
I don’t do packs. I don’t build nests. And I definitely don’t fall for scent matches.
But my body—and my heart—might not care about the rules.
And this time?
Running might not be an option.
This book and all of the Honeysuckle Grove series is a standalone MFMM why choose omegaverse romance. You should expect knotting, heats, irresistible alphas, Steamy spice and cozy small-town vibes. There is no shifting. No choosing. But everyone gets an HEA!
Nora's books are all pretty cozy feeling and this one was definitely that. We didn't have any really dark things happening or underlying themes. It's just small town cozy vibes all around, and sometimes that is all you need.
Our FMC is a baker and definitely has some ideas on cinnamon rolls that I would love to try. She's independent and doesn't let her past drag her down.
The guys..... are all great. Honestly, they really are. Supportive, protective, willing to share, understands the word NO, reminds her she's important. Eli is a father who lost his Omega and his daughter's mom during child birth so his history with Omegas is pretty sad. But the devotion to his daughter? Is definitely one I love seeing from a dad. Eli is also a boundary king. Walker owns a Vineyard, is willing to go above and beyond to help the girl he found is his scent match. Knox has no family and was in the foster system that failed him.
Honestly my favorite character is Amber the daughter and Knox. 100%. Know especially because I relate to him a lot. I myself was a foster kid in the failed part of the system. Deemed unadoptable and living to age out of the system. But also like him I didn't let life drag and keep me down. He's positive, supportive, and will do anything for his Omega and just really wants a family to call his.
If you live a moving story, a single dad, a man who owns a family owned business but lets his girl be independent, and a handyman with a sad and lonely past who just wants a family and gets everyone to see what he sees then I recommend this book.
"The scent of freshly cut grass and honey swirls around me, and for a moment, it's summer. My favorite season. School is out, bakeries are demanding orders for the kids they're going to be inundated with, and the faint smell of citrus hangs in the air. It makes my mouth water, and I draw it in by the lungful, no long caring about how selfish it may be." <---- This is the type of description I love also. Especially because it's describing a scent and building a scene so you know how that scent is. Scents trigger memory.
Also the author does get points for using the word putzing. I love when I see words like this in books same with meandering, mosey and such as I feel like they just aren't seen as often in books that I'm reading.
Lia is new to Honeysuckle Grove and she's trying to make a go with her freelance baked goods so one day she can open up her very own bakery. On the day of the big town festival, Lia being an Omega, she goes into pre-heat and in this moment, she is saved from the crowd by Walker who instantly knows she is his scent match/mate, and he gives her a helping hand:) They also run into Knox who also recognizes her as his mate. When they realize that something is very wrong with Lia, they rush her to the doctor where Eli is with his nine-year-old daughter who is going into pre-heat. But even in his own crisis he realizes that this new omega, Lia, is also his mate. Walker, Knox, and Eli all learn that Lia has a condition that an omega can develop when rejected. They vow to take care of her in any way that she needs, but after being rejected Lia is hesitant of the three alphas. Time and time again Walker, Knox and Eli prove that Lia can count on them and trust them to take care of her without taking away her choices or freedom. I loved all the characters in this Omega verse RH. Walker, Knox, and Eli were all sweethearts, but total alphas where it counts. Lia was a beautiful soul that just needed the right alphas.
I’ve read a lot of omega stories. A lot of them have similar themes. This usually doesn’t bother me or hinder my reading experience . This book did. The story, while well written, but was boring. The author had several opportunities to bring in some drama, but didn’t. Honestly, it annoyed me. I loved the characters and the world the author built. Unfortunately, it missed the mark for me.
This was such a great read; I’ll always have a soft spot for a good single dad trope.
Set in Honeysuckle Grove, the pie-eating contest isn’t the only thing heating up. Lia, a baker down on her luck, finds herself crossing paths with three alphas who are determined to show her she’s worthy of love just as she is. Walker, the vineyard owner, Knox, the dependable handyman, and Eli, the devoted single dad and teacher, come together to care for and support their omega in the sweetest ways.
And Amber? She absolutely stole the show. The nine-year-old brings so much heart to the story, and her bond with Lia from the very beginning is incredibly touching.
I loved how each of the men allowed themselves to be vulnerable with Lia while still being fiercely protective. The emotional depth and connection between all the characters really made this story shine.
I can’t wait to see what this author writes next.
I received a copy of this story and am leaving my honest review.
This book is a kookie cozy small town love story and you want to read something sweet innocent and adorable this is definitely the book that you want to go with. Lia is the baker for honeysucker grove and she is as independent as an Omega can be. She's under the impression that she doesn't need a man she's got cinnamon rolls which after in this I had few myself thanks a lot for that 🤣
This author is one of my favorites where I'm looking for that sweet innocent fluffy love and I am obsessed with this series, this author definitely has a great ability to weave the sweet and the spicy together and I'm totally here for every one of these books that have come out
Knot This Time is a steamy, addictive small-town omegaverse romance that hooked me right away! Lia’s pre-heat situation throws her straight into the orbit of three very different (and equally irresistible) alphas: a broody vineyard owner, a flirty handyman, and a swoon worthy single dad. The chemistry is instant, but what I loved most is how the relationships actually build over time, especially with Lia’s hesitation about trusting a pack. There’s plenty of heat, but also a strong emotional core about trust, healing, and finding where you belong. Plus, the cozy Honeysuckle Grove setting just adds to the charm. If you love why choose romance with great balance between spice and heart, this one’s definitely worth picking up!
Lia moved to Honeysuckle Grove for a fresh start. She has a dream of opening her own bakery and Honeysuckle Grove seems to be the place to do it. Lia bakes everything from pies to seasonal cinnamon buns. She does not like dealing with alphas. She and some friends tangoed when she first presented and accidentally bonded with each other. Leaving her with a broken bond. She suffers the aftereffects of a broken bond. She smells grapes, big, beautiful grapes bursting with juice while at the Honeysuckle Grove Bloom Festival. She meets Walker a vintner and her adventure begins. She finds something. This is a sweet omegaverse that will warm your heart.
This was an amazing story about second chances and building something new. Lia came to Honeysuckle Grove to bring her pies for the pie eating contest. Knox, who is a handyman wins that contest, and Walker happens to be the vineyard owner and then you have Eli, a school teacher. Combine all those together along with a sweet 9 year old daughter named Amber and a German shepherd named Pickles and you have a pack! Lia dreams of opening her own bakery in a bigger town. Thankfully that does not work out because she is right where she is supposed to be. This was really good and so well written!
This was adorable. Some of my favorite alphas. This time the broken falls in love with the broken worked for me. It was a flash in the pan slow burn for me…you’ll understand when you read it. I didn’t get bored even though it is 400+ pages. All of them. I really can’t hate insta love when it comes to scent matches. The smutty scenes maybe could have been more descriptive because some of the scenes were walked in on and I felt like I missed out on some details. I found myself really rooting for these characters.
This was a really sweet OV with no angst, just a story of an Omega meeting her Alphas and finally feeling like she’s found where she belongs. Each of the guys felt distinct to me and I liked that the omega kept her independence. While a few reviews mentioned the lack of drama in the story resulted in them not enjoying the book, sometimes as a reader an optimistic and cheerful book is exactly what you need especially after darker reads. I would definitely recommend this OV if you’re new to the genre or looking for a sweet read.
Once again Nora delivers a sweet and cozy story filled with characters that definitely deserve a second chance at love. The vulnerability shown by Lia and each of her guys was really moving and I loved the way the pack came together. I adored Eli’s daughter names Amber and the cute way she loved Lia (and Pickles)! Lia and her guy's had to be resilient in their own way and reading their love story unfold was the perfect amount of cozy and spicy!
This was a cute story about 3 Alphas and an Omega who were all looking for a 2nd chance at love. Knox was my favorite….his golden retriever energy was off the charts! Lia is a survivor and cautious. I loved that she was so driven to make her business a success but still cared about other businesses and how her shop would affect those around her. While they all made the connection fast, there was caution and a lead up to their togetherness. Overall a solid Omegaverse story!
This was a nice omegaverse story, sweet and spicy in places, the mmcs were just lovely . I will say even though it’s your typical omegaverse story I would have liked a little more action within the book (not the spicy kind ) as it fell just a little short of that. Apart from that this is very sweet, lots of attentiveness, loyalty, found family, and just pure wholesomeness.
I loved the characters so much. Each of them had their own baggage to deal with, and each one still showed up to support each other and ultimately, became pack. The little girl, Amber, was probably my favorite!
This was just a bunch of people whining about how they weren’t good enough for the other people for various ridiculous reasons. I typically like Nora Quinn but this was a miss for me. At 70% no story progress had happened, circular/repetitive story line… ultimately just not impressed.
This was a sweet omegaverse book with some interesting additions to the omegaverse universe. Received this as an ARC and always enjoy Nora Quinn’s books. This is 2/5 🌶️ but lots of sweet, romantic build up. Really enjoyable read. 😊
This was a really sweet and cozy type. I think it’s a bar of fresh air from some of the ones that dive deeper into all the spice and so many twists and turns. This hair it sweet and simple and made it a really great read overall. I really enjoyed reading this one.
This book was a really good read that I found very emotional in spots dealing with parental loss. I wasn’t expecting that in a spicy omegaverse but it so well written I became engrossed in the characters and storyline. I highly recommend it.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters all gelled so well together. There's no major drama going on, which might bother me sometimes, but I found it quite relaxing right now.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved reading this book. I love the depth of the characters and that you really get to know their inner thoughts. If you like spicy, slow burn romances then you should read this book!
This was an easy cozy Omegaverse book with only green flag Alpha’s and a sweet little girl in the mix. What can I saw you know what you are getting into when you read a why choose/reverse harem with omega heat and knotting. 3.5/4 out of 5 🌶️
