Sam is a mother to three boys and lives in the Pacific Northwest. When she’s not wrangling her wild children or two dogs, you can usually find her hiding in her bedroom with a bag of Sour Patch Kids and a good book or typing away at her next story.
“I’ll never change my mind. You were always my choice, James, you know that, right? From the very beginning. It was never a choice. It was always you.” THEN WHY DID WE DO ALL THIS?????
Sigh. Here come all my feelings, haha
Best of the series, and mostly because there wasn’t a sadistic, violent MMC. I genuinely want to know who hurt Samantha after enduring Sebastian and Ainzel because wow. They’re narcissistic, possessive, excuse their behavior, abusive, crazy fragile ego, lack self control, just genuinely dangerous guys. And yet our FMC either falls for him, or is forced to be with him, or both! Crazy town for me. Difficult to endure them on the page.
But this book. This book we finally have a breath of fresh air that is James. So pleased to get his POV. Confident, competent, caring, amazing self control, respectful, safe James. William is also lovely sunshine, but it was clearrrr from the get go that James was the end game. Yet Maya was insufferable in her denial, even bonding with a psychopath. Then even in this one not letting him fully go. Let goooooo! I do not understand. Run away! Let go. He’s literally a psychopath. The notes I’ve made on my kindle talking back to her poor choices 😂 It took far too long to arrive at her obvious choice. James is a wonderful man.
That being said, it did remind me of the amazing man I personally have and remind me of my respect and admiration for him. So, kudos for stirring those feelings.
Wayyyy less teenage make out sessions here. Appreciated that. Just a couple heated make outs, but far less descriptive. This was also actually closed door! Appreciated that as well.
Some plot points were odd, like randomly tossing in the President? I was always a little confused who was in charge of the bad guys.
Also did not enjoy Maya clearly thinking about abortion as an option. Big nope for me.
Still too much language for me as well.
Overall this was the best writing of the series. The magic is so fun and she’s created some wonderful characters. Lovely love stories of people who belong together ending up together, and psychopaths dying.

3.8 ⭐️ This is by far my favorite of the series! I really enjoyed this one!! The development of the characters was well done! Maya made so many mistakes in the previous books that I wanted to come through the book and slap her But honestly I think the point that was trying to be made was that he’d mistakes were HERS to make She wasn’t forced or persuaded or manipulated as she has been, but it was all her Albeit these mistakes were infuriating in the previous books and she needed some major growing 🥲 BUT SHE DID!! I mean she must especially because she’s going to be a mother!! By the end of this you will absolutely be so proud of how far she’s come
Everyone has come so far! I really do love all the characters Each one has their own story and is unique and has their own set of internal problems they need to combat They’re all a family and I love that 🥺
I still have a hate relationship with Sebastian….idc I hate that man even before he turned into this monster I won’t ever get over him forcibly bonding with Maya and being jealous and possessive and not having a hold on his anger Girl bye
The action was entertaining and easy to follow! I love when there’s high stakes, and when it’s not going to be a fight easily won This was a true FIGHT However I do feel like the “President” should have been more present in the series if he’s the one calling all the shots, yknow Why is this my first time hearing about him??? I said Ho who is you???
OH AND THE NEW ROMANCE OOOOOOOOOOOO YALL GONNA LIKE THIS ONE!! HAD ME KICKIN MY FEET TEHEHEHEHHEHE I admit I wish it happened a little differently and you’ll understand why when you read it, but I’m still just so stoked about it! I no longer wanna jump off a cliff like the last two books!! Samantha put me through Gehenna….i was incredibly irate and it’s the train wreck love square of Maya But love square no more!! THANK GOD
I absolutely loved the epilogue! Very good!
I was generously given an ARC copies and all opinions are my own :)
First and foremost, thank you Samantha Christopher for allowing me to be on your ARC team. While the series is now over, I know whatever you have in store next will be just as amazing.
Do you ever read a book, and your heart is racing and you’re on the edge of your seat the entire read. That’s how I felt reading The Spark Eternal. I honestly wanted to fly through this book, but as it being the last book in the series, I also wanted to savior every bit of it.
This series, but especially this book, will forever a hold a special place in my heart. While it’s a bitter sweet moment, closing the book on a dream world I’d love to live in, it was a perfect series, with a magical ending.
So I ask you, What would you do for the ones you love, even when there taken over by evil?
I’m so happy that I got to read this as an ARC reader because I was dying to see how this series wrapped up and it’s bittersweet to get to the end. Now I need to go back and reread from the beginning to really appreciate the ending.
There were some bittersweet storylines and I loved how Samantha was able to write the hard parts in a way that made it feel right, even though jt was really sad. I was heartbroken by Michael’s betrayal! Maybe I should’ve seen it coming, but I was really rooting for him. Some of the banter between couples was a little cheesy, but after the crazy ups and downs over the series, I’m glad that we got a happy ending for Maya and for William and Abby. It made me so happy!
I can’t wait to read what Samantha Christopher writes next!!

Oh. My. Gosh!!! Had multiple real life jaw drops reading the third and final book in this series!! I couldn’t imagine how all of the loose ends that this book started with could be wrapped up without shattering my heart… and my heart was definitely broken, several times with all of the twists and turns. Holy suspense. But somehow Sam came up with an incredible ending for these characters I’ve grown to love so much! If you’ve been missing the romantasy dystopian vibes of books like the hunger games, divergent, etc. then this series is for you! There’s a touch of nostalgia along with a whole new incredible world! The men in this book?! So freaking dreamy. Will never get over these guys honestly. I cannot wait to see what else this genius author comes up with!
This closed door romance concludes the story of Maya, an Elemental with water and fire magic navigating a love triangle while fighting for the survival of her kind.
Author Samantha Christopher once again illustrates just how passionate a romance can be while staying friendly for all ages, keeping readers torn between redeeming a lost love and staying true to the bond that was always there.
Overall, this was a perfectly fitting conclusion to the series that brought tears to my eyes but couldn't have ended any better. This series has been such a joy to read, and I highly recommend it to romance fans of all ages.
I was so excited to see this one being released! At the end of this book, the author notes writing this ending over and over…I think she picked the best one! Samantha really set herself up for a difficult task when she introduced us to a love-quad. I don’t want to post a review with spoilers, but I want to say I WANTED this to happen…that feels wrong to say but I knew it was the only way. I feel so happy with how this series wrapped up. Great ending to a great trilogy.
*thank you for continuing to let me ARC read this series 🖤 I look forward to more of this authors work!
This book was the epic conclusion to an incredible story. Just as I thought we couldn’t get anymore world building, the author answers all of the questions we had after book 2 and delivers on epic battles, big feelings, betrayals, and a heartbreaking yet beautiful finale.
This series was very well done and I absolutely loved how it all wrapped up in this final book. I loved how each characters story ended (even if I cried a few times). Each book just got better and better. You absolutely won’t regret reading this series.
Ok wow! The worldbuilding is amazing, you follow the journey through these amazing places from boats to islands and mansions it all well done. You get JAMES!!! 😍 he is believe to be one of the MMC you would want to be at your side no matter what. You can't forget WILLIAM YOU NERDY 🤓 HOT STUFF!! Maya is such a lucky girl, and Abby finally get her HEA. I love the multiple POV its amazing to follow from William and Abby to Maya and James you dont have to wonder where they are, and I live how both couples realize who they were meant to be with.
The trilogy comes to a close in an action packed, surprise filled story where Maya and friends are fighting a new version of bad in this dystopian world mixed with elemental magic.
Betrayal is heavy in this one, and yet the loyalty I have been looking for in Maya's love triangle is finally solidified. The multiple points of view is new for this book and perhaps that was helpful in clarifying everyone's relationships as they fight the good fight.
Be prepared to not only work through the confusion of love, but feelings of intense loss on many levels. I get sad when reading, but I'm not normally a crier... I cried once in this book.
As a phenomenal wrap up to this story I'd go with 4.5 stars. For the record, my ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating means I loved the book. I adored nearly everything about it and would recommend it to others!
This was a great conclusion to the Spark trilogy. The story picks up right where book two leaves off and doesn’t slow down, with plenty of action, twists, and emotional moments along the way. I really enjoyed seeing all of the lingering questions answered and watching the characters grow into the people they were meant to become. There were a few scenes that genuinely caught me off guard, and while my heart definitely wasn’t spared, the ending felt earned and wrapped up Maya’s story in a satisfying and memorable way.
*I received this book as an eARC and these are strictly my own opinions*
I’m so happy this series ended with a well-earned HEA because honestly, Maya suffered for every bit of it. Watching her fight through loss, pain, impossible choices, and obstacle after obstacle was both heartbreaking and inspiring.
This series wasn’t just about the romance…it was about survival, growth, and finding strength when giving up would have been easier.
⭐️ A beautiful ending to an unforgettable journey.
This has to be my most favorite of the series. And let me say, I’m not a cryer when it comes to reading. Sure if a book is sad it makes me sad, but only one other book has made me cry, make that 2, Samantha you have outdone yourself.. I appreciate the opportunity to be an ARC reader for you for this whole ride.
Did you wonder what happened to Maya, James, and Sebastian’s love triangle? The Spark Eternal definitely answers that question, plus what happens to everyone else in this world.
Now I need to reread the entire series, including the prequel to find out all of the details I missed. I hope you enjoy it.
I have loved reading this series so much but man this book had me so stressed! I laughed, I cried, my jaw dropped at some of the twists but I freaking LOVED this book so much. The journey of Maya has been such a long hard one but was it a good one!
I cannot wait to see what else Sam has up her sleeve💜
This was a great ending to the series. Each book got better and the writing, plot and everything else improved so much from the first one. I enjoyed all the different POVs, especially William and I'm so glad he gets his happily ever after. This book contained so much and I was thoroughly entertained. A very satisfying finale.

"Pretend to be somebody else, but don’t lose yourself in it. You were made with a purpose. You are powerful just as you are. Be proud of that."
"...as her strawberry-blond hair cascades around her shoulders. It’s quite striking in the sea of dark hair, like a flame directing me home on a moonless night."
I cannot believe this series has come to an end! I have been a part of this ARC team since Book 1 and I just loved this whole series!!
The Spark Eternal picks up where The Spark Ignites left off. I love the multiple POVs from the MCs. There is so much emotion going on in this conclusion but the story ends beautifully. There is heartbreak, there are secrets, and even though a war occurs, romance thrives and develops! I love how the prequel blends in perfectly to this series. It is definitely a must read before The Spark Eternal. It all ties in so well! I love how the stories connect and make sense!! Beautifully written timelines! 😍
I could not put this book down! I've become so attached to these characters, and each one plays such an important role in the story. Saying goodbye to them is definitely bittersweet.
If you're looking for a YA dystopian fantasy with elemental magic, high stakes, heartfelt romance, and unforgettable characters, this is a series I highly recommend!!
Wow 🤯 This is the best book of the series! It is truly a wild ride. The mmc is violent, possessive, and abusive. All the characters have unique arcs. There is so much betrayal and action , I read this in one sitting. I flew through this book, I loved it so much. I truly wanted more. The ending is so bittersweet… READ THIS SERIES!!!
It’s bittersweet writing The End. I’ve learned much through Maya’s journey. I’ve grown with her, cried with her, loved with her. I’m closing this final chapter and giving it to you. Enjoy.
