I write based on experiences and to help prevent others from going down the same road as me. Each novel I create will focus on different aspects of street life. My mission is to bring awareness to modern-day drug usage, imprisonment, and other issues.
If you can’t trust your siblings, then who can you trust? I mean, dang, these Mob siblings really aren’t…
Lawd… these two will have your blood pressure rising for sure! When we pick up in book 2, we still see Bri trying to understand what it’s like to be the girlfriend of a “Mob,” while Bronx tries to understand Bri’s love language.
I’m glad Bri and Bronx get their HEA even with the war still raging around them. I admire their commitment to each other and fighting their demons to get it right, remembering it was them against the world. I’ll miss these two. I can’t wait to dive into the hearts and minds of the other Mob siblings.
These books pulled me and I had to finish, but chile', the ghetto. Bri's egg donor was an absolute mess and her father was lazy. Bronx's mother and father were a whole mess. Did everybody in these books get m*lested and/or abused in some way, because wow. Also, how Bronx get the opening to take out Blaze and fumble so bad? Cuz he respected Blaze's abuela🫤, seriously......
Lol Talk about a crazy read. I thought book 1 was stressful but baby book 2 took it there. I'm glad Bronx and Bri were able to finally and I do mean finally get a happy ending. They are the true definition of crazy love but definitely deserved to be loved better than they had been as kids.
I want to say that this was a good read, not a great read. However, there is some unfinished business at the end of Bronx II. There's a lot to unpack in this story, and it's very deep and can be triggering to some people. At some point, it was hard to keep my attention because I felt as if the story was going around in circles without a solution. Read at your own discretion.
Bri wrecked my nerves this go round. That's why Bronx is my mancmy man. I can be the light when he goes dark. What a man what a man that can and will do any and everything for you. No sir I promise I won't bleach up your clothes and fitted caps
This book was written so well. Everything was developed and consistent. Bri worked my nerves the entire book. I hate to say it but she was my least favorite character. Resse Laflare did an awesome job at touching on the day to day effects of mental illness. Can't wait for the next installment. Job well done
Yes ma’am you did it for real. Bri got on my last nerve in book 2 at times but this was everything! I can’t wait for more from the Mob family. We need the next book expeditiously!
I don’t know what’s next…but I can’t wait to read it!!! I am new to this author and she did not disappoint. This book was a full circle moment. From Daddy Lenox to Bronx and Briana I love how the characters evolve!! Even Brooklyn silly tail!!
Whew that was a ride but I definitely loved every minute of it. When I say Bronx did what it takes to prove his love to Bri, he even got committed in the mental hospital to be close to her. Definitely a great series I highly recommend.
