8 short, erotic reads catering to the masses. Each of them have a funny element to them too that I enjoyed searching for. I liked that there was a mix of ethnicities, and body sizes among the females, it kept them very individualized in my mind.

Chasing Her For Pleasure is book 1, this one does a good job of explaining the hunting season, much clearer than the others. Its kink is primal play.
“With a flick of his hips, that hard ***** strikes me, knocking me flat on my back.”

Hunting His Mate was probably my least favorite bc of the hypocrisy the FMC had, I can’t remember if this one had a specific kink or not, they all have dubious consent though.
“Compared to this, I’d take Jyth’s **** down my throat any day.”

Claiming Her First Time has a virgin FMC who was raised in a religious background.
“Who knew smooching in a dirt pit could be so hot?”

Taking What’s His has more of a captive feel, and some hinted pet-ness to it, also a suggested age gap
“You seem a little old to be ruled by the urges of puberty, big guy.”

Bound As His Prey was slightly different in the sense that we get a royal Kex who happens to be the sadist to our FMC’s masochist
“This is making [me] ***…. Oh, this is gonna blow.”

Ravaging His Mate was a shock with its exhibitionism
“Would he care if I told him his skin feels like being rubbed down by sandpaper dipped in acid?”

Stalking His Prize is a bonus that you get with the omnibus and it features the sister to one of the original females. It confounded me why she was able to steal a second ship from Earth, and track the original’s trail; but the invading aliens didn’t go after any of them or the ships they stole. This one is up there with my least favorite of the group simply because it didn’t make sense to me as to why she was there.
“Ah, gravity, my old friend. You’re still a total [B word]… Did I say gravity was a [B word]? Well, so is this [dang] forest.”

This is eight erotic short stories on a theme of space ship crash lands on unknown planet and all crew members meet the natives individually. As the passengers from Earth venture out of the crashed ship looking for help, and their missing fellow travelers, each are captured by an alien male. It is in the time of the mating storms which increase libido in the males of this planet, making it almost impossible for them to resist their mating instincts, if they even care to.

Each of the women reacts differently, according to her personality. They are all different sizes, have different skills...some are fearless fighters and some are scared of almost everything. Others find sudden strength while yet others find a strange pull toward their captors. These character differences in the male and female protagonists keep what might have been a cookie cutter series intersting and easy to stay engaged with.

This collection of 8 standalone, interconnected short stories are dual POV, well written, and dark, primal, erotica tales with happy endings between a human woman and an alien male who has a mating heat. I enjoyed these in moderation, as they are definitely dubcon and contain kinks that I only want in small doses. I liked having them as a set so I could easily read them sequentially and, if this is your flavour of story, it makes binge reading easy. I enjoyed the contentment of all characters at the end of this series.

Good collection of alien smut in short stories. Each story in this complete collection is basically the same. Which I didn't mind at all. FMC's crash landed on Kex Alpha, a planet filled with male aliens competing in a "hunt." Lightning lights up the sky, causing the male aliens to go into a sort of sexual rut, looking for females.

FMC's are human women fleeing ravaged Earth, running from an extremely dominant male alien species.

In each story, a human female encounters a male alien. The males tell the females to run so they can chase them, catch them, and ravish them.

Lots of sexual scenes, dominance, and exciting situations.

For the times you want a dark, hot-and-spicy read, this is the perfect collection! There is plenty of action with alien monsters who are in pursuit of their perfect match. This collection follows seven women whose spacecraft crashes on the planet Kex. The next thing they know, they are all being hunted by gigantic alien warriors determined to get their mate. This collection is high heat and low plot. But that's not a bad thing. This is a fun, extremely hot, and spicy escape read.
