I bought this because I love Low’s talks on the Sam Harris app. He is so clear in the app about Buddhist concepts. In this book, which is his translation of teachings, I find it to be almost doctrinal. What I am attracted to in Buddhism, I am not finding here. this almost felt sticky. Like I was re-entering my Christian childhood. Rules and exclusivity.
