Sean Davenport has it all. He's rich, successful and single. From the time he was a child, the importance of keeping his father's legacy in the family was drilled into him. His dream was to expand the company until Davenport Corporation was a household name. The one thing Sean Davenport wants - needs - is a child of his own blood to carry on the legacy his father left behind. A child of his own that he could groom and train to take over the company when the time came. For a man of his means, it should have been simple. But money can't buy everything. And this is the one thing he begins to believe he will never have. At least until he meets Danielle Knox, a rising star in the art world and the one person in the world who doesn't appear to be impressed by his wealth. To achieve his goal, he has to make her fall in love with him. But first he has to keep her alive....

So much potential

Too bad this book was not edited properly. It really could have been a cute (cheesy) fast read. Instead, all of the characters are written very one note, and I'm still unsure if the heroine has narcolepsy. I'm not kidding. She falls asleep everywhere! I'm also guessing that the hero's man-meat is full of narcotics. Something was making her super sleepy. Then there was the craziness of the forced drama and the continually hospital trips. Oh, I can go on and on

The best thing I learned about reading this book is that I'm a Time Lord and Kindle is my TARDIS. I visited so many timelines in the past then to the future. It was amazing.

Seriously though. This book has potential.

First things first, you need an editor. There was some repetition in the book. One about the McKeenan being described as McCloud - that happened twice. And one where Danielle took her dress off and through it across the bed to take the dress off again while on the phone. She already took the dress off. Error. Other than that it was a good storyline. A quick read. I will read something else by this author.

The only one for me

I enjoyed this story! Loved Sean and Dani! I didn't like how he deliberately went after her just so she could get pregnant so he could keep his family line going. It was disingenuous. But I knew he would fall for her and fall hard he sure did.
Sabrina was a bitch! What a mental midget. Tina was a cool friend. Clayton surprised me. That was a twist I didn't see. I won't give it away. Overall I enjoyed it! Thank you!

"Well isn't this a Daisy..."

As usual the quick jump to sex was an instant turn off. I mostly stop at this point, delete the book & keep it moving.😒
But for this one I skipped over the boot knocking and kept reading. Am very glad I did as it turned into a good page turner I finished in one sitting. Yes Sean is the proverbial calculating business man set on brokering just another deal but the tables are turned once the ice around his ❤ is melted and the rest of him followed suit.
Dani is adorable (even though she disappointed me in the beginning) witty, honest, quirky & a bloody Sculptor! Wow now there's an unusual profession. Tina is best friend & sister. I look forward to her story after that preview. Good solid read...

The Truth will Come Out

I really liked both characters in this story. Sean was extremely wealthy but basically alone. He wanted a child to leave his legacy but could only mate with someone compatible. His PI found Dani but instead of approaching her like someone with sense he had unprotected sex with her. She becomes pregnant. He has a crazy ex and she also has some crazy after her. It wouldn’t be a suspense story if there wasn’t some conflict. He could’ve told her before things got bad about what he was doing. He chose not to and they had to be separated for a while before coming back together. All in all it was a good story they just made bad choices.

A deception for love

Sean was wrong. I understand the drive for a family of his own. Though it started out wrong it turned out right. I loved how their love made them less selfish and more unturned. Sabrina and Clayton were sick and crazy. So glad no real harm came to them. Sean's final plea to have her back was the truth of his love for her, for her and no one else.

Lovely couple, Dani and Sean. With a friend like Clayton who needs an enemy. Tina definitely was a true friend. Great ending.

A lovely story but it needed more depth.

The story was a very good concept but I found that it needed more depth, the characters and story just could have gone into more detail. On the whole the story was good and a quick read.

To be and to find 'the needle in a haystack'-must be love.

4.25 stars. This story is both well written and takes a unique approach to the convenience theme. Sean Davenport is owner and CEO of a multi million dollar corporation, both his parent are deceased, he is an only child and wants and heir; but do to a rare blood disorder, he can only sire a child with a woman who also has this disorder. After years of searching for a white female with this condition, his investigators find Danielle Knox, a black female sculptor. Sean arranges to meet Danielle at one of her showings, they spend the night together and ultimately fall in love, she gets pregnant and they marry. A lovely romance with a bit of mystery and attempted murder and acts of betrayal and forgiveness. I was close to not liking her best friend- i hate 30 year olds behaving like a fifteen year old best friend might.

In the he Only One for Me, Billionaire playboy Sean Davenport needs a child, however, he cannot have a child with just anyone. The person must have the same type of blood disorder as he does. He has is old friend McKennon start a search and McKennon is unable to come up with any viable candidates until he widens the search and found Dani Knox and up and coming artist. Sean seeks and invitation to a gallery showing and is attracted to Dani on site (he liked what he saw from the photos). Dani was not what Sean was searching for, but once he had her, he could not let her go. Someone is out to get Dani, Sean has no idea who it is and thinks that it has something to do with him. Once Dani finds out the real reason behind her meeting with Sean will she forgive him?

This book was slightly suspenseful at the end and there was a surprise to find out who was out to harm Dani and why.

Truly Loved This Story

Never read Toni Jackson before but I am looking forward to reading more from her. While this storyline has been told many times, Ms. Jackson gives rich man searching for the right woman to have his baby a different twist and it works. But what makes this the hottest romance is the great character development I really loved the main characters Dani and Sean and was rooting for them to work it out and they do. It was such a pleasure to read a complete story that was not unnecessarily dragged out especially when the plot is ridiculous and you despise the characters. This is a fast read but so satisfying a few typos but not too distracting. Lot's of spice in this romance. Enjoy.

Not a 5 but a solid 4

Good Story. Sweet romance. Hero with money and means searches for a rare medical match - a woman medically compatible that he can conceive a child with. He finds and seduces the heroine without her being the wiser. Throw in a bit of suspense with someone trying to kill the heroine, and the inevitable revealing of the hero's motives, and you have the conflict. No cliff hangers, complete story.

Whew!

I didn't expect to enjoy this story as much as I did. Billionaire stories that rebuilding the market have been "meh" at best. I love this story!!

It wasn't the usual in the billionaire storyline and it kept me glued until the end. There were unexpected twists and turns. Toni Jackson did a excellent job telling Sean and Danielle's story.

I would recommend this book to all my friends and anyone that loves a good book. I can't wait to read more stories by Ms. Jackson.

The only one for me

I chose this rating because I felt this was a very enjoyable alpha male type romance. It had a complete storyline and was well written and easy to get involved in. The characters were well developed with interesting personalities. The sex scenes were hot. Surprise ending! Good read, I recommend.

Excellent book with a unique storyline, hero and heroine are both strong likable characters. The only draw back to the story is that it's a novella and I would have preferred a lengthier story, besides that, I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this author as her collection of stories expand. I would recommend this as a quick Sunday read escape. Happy Reading!

I Need A Child

Love this book. The plot was well written. This is a story about a rich man who had a rear disease who had to find someone with the same disease to conceive a baby. In finding this woman he did not plan to fall in love with her. His goal was to talk her into having his child and giving it up.

Sweet

It's sweet and romantic. It's like a breath of fresh air, not a deep story based on a longer courtship or building up to a complicated relationship. It's a quick hour read when you just want to relax and let your mind go to a happy place during a crazy week.

I really enjoyed this story in spite of its need for editing. The characters were interesting, Sean a single minded businessmen and Dani a talented artist. The story had a few twists and turns I wasn't expecting which added to the plot.
