Absolutely devastated, need book 3 ASAP!!! A lot of stories have characters but Ms. Starr's characters make her story. Her approach to fantasy adventure is a refreshingly modern mix of excitement, fun and emotional brutality. Exodus is an excellent continuation of the Meaperverse, carrying on TMR's mesmerizing character-based narrative construction and fluid pacing in a way that is honestly nothing short of addicting! The characters feel uniquely crafted and even against the backdrop of deities and otherworldly powers they feel grounded and real. The pacing fluctuates often yet the underlying sense of urgency never lets up and even when I lost my favorite character I couldn't put the book down. I cannot wait for this series to get popular so I have more people to talk about it with!

This book explored so much I don’t know where to begin. Grief, guilt, depression, anxiety, rage all of these emotions are linked to death and processing the loss of life and it just hit home for me.

I absolutely loved the exploration of the underworld and if you know me my favorite was the fields of extinction (Dino’s duhhhh)

I will stand by team Blaise no matter what especially after this newest installment!

Deanna stays my fav character, standing by her emotions and always being there for her friends.
