About the author

I grew up in France and moved to the United States when I was 26 years old. I have been teaching French for ten years. I have a background in French Literature and was always an avid reader; I especially enjoy thriller books.
Fueled by a lifelong love for storytelling, I decided to create short stories that will be suspenseful and intriguing for readers who love psychological fiction and devoted my weekends crafting them. I have published four books: "The Mind's Appetite", "The Neighbor She Never Knew", "Whispers From The City of Light" and "La Dame Blanche" (The White Lady). There will be more to come!

crystal cliffs is prided for their indiscretion and privacy. A small resort for the elite with only a few ways in it is remote, secluded and secrets are kept. Miles Davenport is a big wig who is there, has a business meeting that goes awry. Tempers flare, secrets surface, questions are asked...confrontation is in the air but everyone tries to remain professional. After the business dinner has ended Miles is found dead. Lena Bremont is called in and right from the getgo she notices things are odd. People are hiding things. Three witnesses that have three very different responses. A system update that blacks out the cameras during the time frame, things done at odd hours and no one willing to tarnish the name of the resort. But nothing could prepare her for what was to happen next. Another body. This time it was someone who worked at resort. With the impending storm Lena must fight to figure out who has killed two people and why...but that brings up more questions than answers. What is happening at Crystal Cliffs Resort?

I will never get tired of locked door mysteries.  A locked door thriller at an isolated luxury resort during a storm was a no-brainer for this thriller girlie!

Death at Crystal Cliffs features a storm trapping a group of wealthy, secretive guests. The isolated setting, the power dynamics, and the promise that literally no one is telling the truth makes this feel tailor-made for fans of twisty whodunits.  Everyone has a motive, and you probably won't expect the ending 😉. Crystal Cliffs is one of those settings that feels beautiful and claustrophobic...the best place for a murder mystery.

No fillers, no fluff—just a dang good detective thriller! ‘Death at Crystal Cliffs’ is a closed-door whodunit that is clenched-jawed and claustrophobic!

Aurelie Duncanson masterfully created an atmosphere of isolation. It was like the resort of Crystal Cliffs was its own character and had a stake in the murder of a high-profile millionaire, working against Detective Lina Brémont at every turn.

‘Death at Crystal Cliffs’ is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery thrillers! I look forward to the next Lina Brémont mystery!

This is a mystery where I had no clue where it was going. A dead billionaire. Three suspects. And maybe something much bigger going on behind the scenes. It all takes place at the extravagant oceanside resort of Crystal Cliffs. If you like a good mystery, check this one out!
