"Amusing"
At least there was an attempt at a story line before the usual bump and grind. The initial premise was believable and the characters appeared genuine. But, I have yet to meet anyone remotely like either main protagonist in real life as they were portrayed in the final pages. Thank goodness. Whatever happened to the quest for equality? I won't race to read the next instalment.

This is one heck of a first book! This is one series I need the rest of and that I will read over and over!

Caryn is stuck after work when her roommate cannot pick her up due to opportunity for overtime.
doesn't have funds to pay for a taxi. Mason secretary to Mr. Franklin is willing to take Caryn home. But she doesn't know what type of person this gorgeous man is. Caryn offers him gas $. Mason makes a counter offer of car pooling for coffee & donut each morning. They have done the routine for over 5 months. During the 5 months of carpooling with Mason; People at work & her roommate notices the changes in Caryn appearance. Dawn knows these little changes are because she has a crush on Mason. Caryn denies that is true. Plus Mason isn't interested in her. Though her friend says that isn't true. A man would not just be willing to carpool for coffee & donuts.
Mason notices that Caryn is wearing a dress for the 1st time when she arrives to his place.
Caryn explains it is because the office a sauna because the thermostat is broken.
But things change when they are driving back after work. Caryn has fallen asleep as she has done many times on their way home. However her buttons open & Mason gets to see her boobs. When Caryn wakes up from her nap she is surprised that her blouse is open. She wonders why Mason hadn't woken her up. He makes the jokes that he that she was teasing him. HAHAH
But when she says no. She decides to find out if her roommate is right & find out if Mason finds her attracted as much as she does. This time she pretends she is napping & moved in a way that her dress opens & allows a bit of her dress reveal her bare thighs. Will Mason Notice. Oh he definitely does, & is furious with her games. Enough to stop the car in mid traffic on the freeway to tell her why is she playing games.
Caryn argues with Mason, then admits she did tease him. Now he wants to know why. And he has told her if she wants more than friendship, the expects obedience. When she wants to understand what Mason means, he asks her to unbutton her dress knowing people can see her while they are in commute traffic.
Read the rest of the sample to find out if this couple has a steamy liaisons in the car? Their chemistry is hot. I did enjoy the Enticing their desires. But I'm not into degrading a woman. I guess I will have to read the other chapters to see how this turns out.

I would highly recommend this book to the people who look for good erotica short stories . The story line keeps your interest and makes you want to find out more about the characters. I really enjoyed reading it!

I really liked this short story. I thought it was just gonna be a quick fun read... turns out its part of a series.. short story series all about the same couple.. which means it would have been better to just put it all together in one book.. as each book is less then 50 pages each.. 4 books in the series when you could have had 1 book at about 200 pages. I really hate when authors do this. While I enjoyed the story... I'm not sure that I will continue on with the series.

This story is my favorite kind of erotica - a thoughtful riff on modern relationships, accompanied by a heaping dose of steamy, sexy stuff. With just the right balance of moments that touch your heart and moments that make you want to touch yourself, Lucia Jordan brings the heat. I'd take a ride in that car any day.

It was written well, and I appreciated the happy ending.
But I must say - as many of these books as I encounter, I still can’t wrap my head around this type of relationship where one party demands absolute obedience from the other.
Thankfully - as Mason mentioned to Caryn at one point - he doesn’t go so far as to demand being addressed as Master … but he’s still rather demanding.

Caryn and Mason’s dynamic is commanding and deliciously charged, though the emotional depth takes a backseat to raw attraction. Ideal for fans of erotic tension on the move.
