Oops, I Fell for the Ranch Hand Next Door

She came to my ranch ready to collapse. I found her trespassing in a wildflower meadow and decided she wasn't leaving.

Eli

I left the fire squad after one shift too many stayed with me.
Now I work Granitehart Ranch, ride SAR when needed, and keep my distance from anything that feels like falling.

Then I find Jessie Webb alone in a neighbor’s wildflower meadow, looking two breaths away from shattering.
She's a burned-out ER nurse who walked off the job, and I recognize that exhaustion because I carried it myself.

I should tell her she's trespassing.
Instead, I decide she's mine to protect.

The ranch manager assigns her the morning egg collection. Ruckus the rooster attacks her on day one, and I show up at dawn with backup and coffee.
I don't stop showing up. I can't stay away.

When a rainstorm sends us chasing chickens through the mud, and she's soaking wet and laughing for the first time, I take her to my cabin and claim her the way I've been starving to since I found her in that meadow.
My hands are possessive, worshiping every curve like she was built for my touch.

Her old hospital calls with promises to pull her back to the life that broke her.
I've already she's not going anywhere unless she chooses to.

Jessie

I came to Granitehart Ranch because I had nothing left.
Years of ER shifts ground me down until I walked out and didn't look back.

I didn't expect Eli Abbot, a former firefighter with a body built for hard work and hands that know exactly how to touch me.
He finds me trespassing in a wildflower meadow and looks at me like he's already decided I'm his to keep.

When Ruckus the rooster attacks me on day one, El shows up at dawn like he can't stay away.
He brings coffee, leaves wildflowers on my porch, and puts his body between me and anything that could hurt me.

I start craving the way he watches me like I'm something worth protecting, worth feeding, worth claiming.
When the rain traps us, and he takes me to his cabin, he doesn't ask permission.

He strips me down, maps every curve with his mouth, and worships my body like it was made for his hands.
When he claims me, it's protective and possessive, and exactly what I've been starving for.

My old life calls with second chances and better hours.
But staying means trusting a man who touches me like he'll never get enough, who sees my body as something sacred, and refuses to let me fall any further.

Apparently, I Needed a Ranch Romance 🌼🔥

He brought coffee, showed up, and told her she was enough. Naturally, I had feelings about it. ☕🖤

I am mildly obsessed, emotionally invested, and frankly a little offended by how effectively this book weaponized comfort against me. 😂 This is exactly the kind of romance that knows its fantasy and commits to it: a burned-out woman, a fiercely protective alpha, a Texas ranch, wildflowers, coffee, body worship, found family, and a man whose primary love language is apparently I saw you struggling, so now I have decided you’re being cared for.

What surprised me most wasn’t the instalove—it was how much the emotional foundation worked underneath it. Jessie and Eli aren’t simply attracted to each other. They recognize something familiar in each other: the exhaustion of spending years being useful to everyone else while quietly running themselves into the ground. Beneath all the possessive claiming and high heat is a much softer story about finally being allowed to stop surviving. And yes, I was emotionally involved. Unfortunately, my nervous system apparently needed a ranch romance instead of another psychological thriller. 🌼

The chemistry is immediate and undeniable, but the relationship works because the attraction is paired with emotional recognition. Eli sees Jessie when she’s depleted, not polished, productive, or useful—and his response is essentially, You’re still enough. That hit me harder than expected.
His protectiveness also works because it isn’t limited to physical danger. The strongest moments are the ones where he notices what Jessie needs emotionally and learns when to step forward and when to give her room. That balance gives his possessiveness a more tender foundation, while Jessie’s journey keeps the relationship from becoming entirely about Eli deciding what happens next.

The body-positive romance is another major strength. Jessie is desired exactly as she is, without the story treating her body as a problem that needs fixing before she can be loved. Her emotional journey toward recognizing her own worth gives the romance something meaningful underneath the heat. ❤️And the acts of service? Coffee. Flowers. Showing up. Making space. Taking care of the little things. Apparently that was all it took to turn me into an emotional puddle. My favorite emotional thread is the idea that care doesn’t have to be earned through sacrifice. That landed. Hard.

The dual POV structure works particularly well because Jessie and Eli carry different versions of the same emotional wound. Their internal perspectives deepen the connection rather than simply repeating the same attraction from two angles. The writing is polished, immersive, and emotionally direct. The ranch setting provides a tactile contrast to Jessie’s previous life: wildflowers and rain instead of fluorescent lights and constant crisis. It creates the sense that she has physically stepped into a life where breathing is finally possible.

The pacing keeps the romance moving, although the instalove means the relationship develops very quickly. That won't work equally well for every romance reader, particularly anyone looking for a long, tension-heavy slow burn. For this story, though, the speed feels intentional and consistent with the comfort-focused fantasy.

The conflict is also relatively contained. There aren't elaborate twists or major external obstacles competing for attention. The tension comes primarily from Jessie deciding whether she can trust this new life and from the push-and-pull between Eli's instinct to protect and Jessie's need to choose her future for herself. That keeps the story emotionally focused, but it also means readers looking for a more complicated plot may find it lighter than expected.

The emotional beats are strongest when the story slows down enough to let the characters actually feel what they've been avoiding. Those moments give the romance its weight.
And the dialogue? Sharp, flirty, emotionally revealing, and occasionally devastating. One particular theme kept punching me directly in the chest: You did enough. You gave enough. You are enough. Rude, honestly. I came here for a romance. 😭

This is tailor-made for readers who want high-heat small-town/ranch romance with instalove, a protective possessive hero, a curvy heroine, body worship, praise, acts of service, found family, and emotional healing. If you like later-in-life romance where the characters already have full lives and complicated histories, this should hit nicely. So will readers who enjoy wounded first responders, burnout/healing themes, comfort reads with plenty of spice, and heroes who decide very early that their woman is their woman. The emotional fantasy here is less dangerous obsession and more someone finally notices you’re exhausted and refuses to let you carry everything alone. 🫶

If you need a slow-burn romance that takes hundreds of pages to acknowledge the chemistry, this is probably not your ranch. 😂 The relationship moves quickly, the attraction is obvious, and the story is much more interested in emotional reassurance, devotion, and payoff than prolonged romantic uncertainty.

This book left me feeling entertained, emotionally invested, and surprisingly comforted. The romance delivers the heat, the possessiveness, the swoony moments, and the body-positive fantasy—but the emotional core is what stayed with me. Jessie’s journey isn’t really about finding a man. It’s about figuring out who she is when she isn’t taking care of everyone else. Eli doesn’t need her to prove her worth through work, sacrifice, or usefulness. He wants her there simply because she’s her. And that was the part that got me. Because sometimes the most romantic thing isn’t someone promising to save you. It’s someone looking at everything you’ve survived and saying, You don’t have to keep doing it alone.

I wanted more. More of them, more of the ranch, more of the found-family energy, and honestly, more time watching Jessie settle into the life she was so clearly desperate for. And—apparently—more coffee deliveries from fictional men who have decided emotional caretaking is a competitive sport. 🌼The fast romantic development and relatively contained conflict kept this from becoming a completely perfect read for me, but the emotional payoff more than made up for it.

The heat got my attention, but the reminder that you don’t have to earn love by constantly giving yourself away is what stayed with me. 🖤

Jessie has spent fifteen years keeping people alive. As an ER nurse, she knows what it means to stand on the front line, make impossible decisions, and lose little pieces of herself in the process. But eventually, there comes a point when there is simply nothing left to give. After losing yet another patient, Jessie reaches hers. So, she walks out in the middle of her shift, gets into her car, and drives. Three days and two states later, she stops to admire a wildflower meadow at Granitehart Ranch and that’s where Eli finds her. Eli recognizes that hollow look immediately. He wore it himself four years ago. As a former firefighter, he knows all too well what it feels like to lose someone you were desperately trying to save. But instead of offering Jessie sympathy, he offers her something far more practical: a job and a place to stay. He can’t quite explain why he feels so protective of Jessie, or why he seems incapable of staying away from her for more than five minutes. What he does know is that he sees a woman who has spent her entire life caring for everyone else and never learned how to let someone take care of her. And I absolutely loved watching Eli do just that. It starts with the little things—a mason jar of wildflowers left on her porch, a coffee for her in the morning before they start their chores, the quiet reassurance that she doesn’t have to face everything alone. Eli never plays games about how he feels, either, and there was something incredibly refreshing about how open he was about Jessie and where he hoped their relationship was heading. Jessie has spent so long believing her worth comes from being useful that she doesn’t know what to do with the idea of simply being loved. Eli patiently shows her that she doesn’t have to earn love by saving everyone around her. Now, I will admit, Jessie did test my patience a little. Her back-and-forth over her old job drove me slightly bonkers. One minute she’s committed to Eli and promising she’s staying, and the next, her former boss calls with an offer of better conditions and suddenly Jessie is umming and aahing over the future of their relationship while seriously considering returning to the career that nearly destroyed her and hurting Eli in the process. As an ER nurse used to making life-or-death decisions, you’d think the woman would be more decisive! Thankfully, Eli has the patience of a saint. I loved how he just kept showing up for Jessie. Over and over again. He listened, helped carry her burdens, and shared his own painful experiences so she would know she wasn’t alone. He never tried to fix her or rush her healing; he simply gave her the space and support to find her way back to herself. And honestly, I couldn't imagine walking away from a man as wonderfully caring as Eli. But Jessie has to make her own choices, even if I occasionally wanted to grab her by the shoulders and yell, “THE MAN IS RIGHT THERE!” 😂 Luckily, this is a romance, and I’m very happy to report that all the angst, second-guessing, and emotional baggage ultimately lead to a wonderfully heartwarming happy ending. A tender, emotional story about burnout, grief, healing, and learning that sometimes the strongest thing you can do is let someone else take care of you. And Eli? Absolute cinnamon-roll-in-a-cowboy-hat material.

She ran from the life that broke her. He gave her a reason to stay.

Jessie has spent fifteen years keeping other people alive until one loss finally takes everything she has left. She walks out of the ER, drives until Ohio is behind her, and lands exhausted in a Texas wildflower meadow with no plan for what comes next.

Eli knows that kind of collapse. A former firefighter carrying his own ghosts, he recognizes what it looks like to give too much for too long. He offers Jessie a place at Granitehart Ranch, then keeps showing up with coffee, protection from a homicidal rooster, and the steady attention she doesn’t know how to accept.

Their attraction burns fast, but Eli’s possessiveness comes with patience and his dominance with care. He wants every part of Jessie she’s learned to minimize, while she slowly learns that desire, rest, and tenderness don’t have to be earned through sacrifice.

Then her old hospital offers her everything she once wanted. Going back would mean returning to an identity she understands, while staying means trusting a man who’s already all in and choosing a life where being loved matters more than being useful. Eli can’t make that choice for her, and he won’t accept only half of her.

Jessie grows from a self-sacrificing, hypervigilant caregiver into a woman learning to receive without guilt. Eli shifts from protecting everyone around him to letting Jessie see his own wounds, and their bond deepens through touch, praise, acts of service, and sexual trust until care becomes fully mutual.

An ultra-steamy, later in life, small town ranch romance with instalove, possessive devotion, found family, curvy girl body positivity, and a protective former firefighter. It’s about burnout, grief, self-worth, healing, and the difference between being needed and being loved, with two wounded people learning that home can be something they choose together.

The Elevator Pitch: A burned-out ER nurse runs from the life that hollowed her out and lands on a Texas ranch where a former firefighter recognizes every fracture she’s trying to hide. His steady attention, possessive care, and refusal to let her disappear into sacrifice force her to confront the difference between being needed and being loved. As her old life calls her back, she has to decide whether safety means returning to what she knows or risking everything on the man who sees her as worth keeping.

Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥 Ultra-Steamy / Erotic Romance

Oops, I Fell for the Ranch Hand Next Door was one of those quick, steamy romances that surprised me with how much I connected with the story underneath all that heat.

Jessie has spent fifteen years as an ER nurse caring for everyone else until she finally reaches the point where she simply has nothing left to give. She walks away, drives to Texas, and somehow ends up trespassing in a wildflower meadow at Granitehart Ranch—where Eli finds her looking like she's barely holding herself together.

What I loved most about Eli was that he recognizes what he sees in Jessie because he's lived his own version of it. As a former firefighter, he understands what happens when a career centered around saving other people begins taking pieces of you in return. He doesn't need Jessie to explain why she's exhausted before he understands that she needs somewhere to land.

And then he just keeps showing up.

He brings her coffee. He leaves her wildflowers. He protects her from Ruckus, the completely unhinged rooster who apparently takes Jessie's morning egg-collecting duties personally. 😂 And little by little, Eli gives Jessie something she hasn't allowed herself in a very long time—the opportunity to be cared for instead of always being the person doing the caring.

Their attraction is immediate and the spice is definitely HOT, but I appreciated that there was something deeper holding their relationship together. Eli doesn't see Jessie only for what she can do for other people. He sees *her*, and watching Jessie slowly begin to understand the difference between being needed and being genuinely loved was probably my favorite part of the story.

When her old hospital comes calling with promises of better hours and another chance, Jessie has to decide whether going back to the life she knows is really what she wants—or whether this unexpected life, and the man who has become such an important part of it, might actually be where she belongs.

There is plenty of possessive mountain-man/ranch-hand energy, lots of heat, some genuinely sweet acts of service, a little humor courtesy of one seriously territorial rooster, and a wonderful HEA. But underneath it all, this is really a story about two people who spent years taking care of everyone else finally finding someone willing to take care of them too.

And I absolutely loved that.

Oops I Fell for the Ranch Hand Next Door caught me at exactly the right time because sometimes a romance does not need a complicated plot to make you feel something. Jessie arrives at Granitehart Ranch carrying fifteen years of exhaustion and a life that has become more about surviving than actually living. I could feel how badly she wanted to stop for a while, even though she had no idea what stopping would mean for her. Then there is Eli. What got me about him was not simply the attraction between them. It was the way he noticed Jessie when she was struggling and gave her something she had almost forgotten she needed. He did not try to fix her life for her. He showed up. Again and again. The coffee, the flowers, the quiet moments, the way he listened when she finally talked about the things she had been carrying all those years. Those little things worked on me more than any big romantic speech could have. I also loved that Eli had his own scars and regrets. Jessie was not the only one who needed to learn that walking away from something can sometimes be survival rather than failure. Their connection moves quickly, as you would expect from this kind of romance, but I never felt like the emotional part was being ignored. By the time Jessie finally makes her choice, I was genuinely rooting for her. And that epilogue? That made me smile. This book left me with that lovely feeling of watching two people finally stop running and realize they have found somewhere they can call home.

I received Oops, I Fell for the Ranch Hand Next Door by Tiffany Bloom as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. 🎀

This was such a sweet and enjoyable novella, and I really liked it. Both the MMC and FMC have been through difficult phases in their lives, and I really liked seeing them learn how to live for themselves again. Their own needs are no longer something they simply ignore, but instead become an important part of moving forward. 👥️

I thought it was beautiful to see them find each other during this time and, especially, how supportive the MMC is of the FMC. They work through this phase together and help each other along the way. I also really enjoyed seeing the FMC become part of his family and find her own place there. ❣️

The epilogue was another highlight for me because we get to see where they are one year later. I always enjoy getting that little glimpse into the future and seeing how things turned out for the couple. 💝

The writing style was very pleasant, and I really liked both characters. The spice level was also just right for me. Overall, this was a lovely short romance that I really enjoyed. ✍️🌶

I’m already looking forward to the next book in the Oops I Fell for the ... Next Door series! 🎀

Another great story from Tiffany Bloom. This is a heartfelt and steamy read that deals with two broken people who are suffering the pain inflicted by the load they carry in their jobs as first responders.

Jessie is a night ER nurse who has cared for people for 15 years, carrying the weight of the lost patients became too much and she decided to walk away from her shift. She simply started to drive with no route or end location until she reached Wildflower Meadow Ranch and stops at a small meadow. Eli catches her here and recognizes the breakdown coming and takes her to the ranch's lodge offering her a place and work as a hand.

Eli is a former firefighter who has similar scars to the ones Jessie carries, he has learned to live with them for 4 years, so he knows what she is feeling. From the first moment, he knows she is going to belong to him but first she needs to heal and learn to choose herself, As he devotes his time to show her a easier and simpler lifestyle, she will start to question her worth as the hospital starts to call her back. Their connection grows as she allows Eli to have her back and show her how she is also a priority,
A poignant look at the weight that first responders hold and how it affects them. The love story and choosing to each other is just the beginning of their healing process.

A great read!.

A tender, spicy instalove romance rooted in trauma, healing, and the quiet power of being seen. Eli is a former firefighter who finally breaks under the weight of one loss too many. He heads south to a friend’s ranch, hoping that distance and hard work will keep him from caring again. Jesse is an ER nurse who reaches her limit mid‑shift after losing a young patient and witnessing a mother’s heartbreak. With nothing left in her emotional reserves, she gets in her car and simply drives until she can’t anymore.

She collapses in a field of wildflowers — and that’s where Eli finds her.

What follows is a slow, fragile, beautifully messy beginning. The ranch gives Jesse a job and a place to land, but her exhaustion and emotional fractures run deep. Eli’s whole heart and body say mine, yet her trauma is too fresh for her to trust herself or anyone else. Their push‑and‑pull feels real, frustrating, tender, and worth every page.

Her past tries to drag her back, and she has to choose whether she’ll keep running or finally let herself stay. The side characters — including a rooster named Ruckus who absolutely deserves his own book — add humor and warmth exactly when it’s needed.

Spicy, caring, emotionally grounded, and full of heart. The HEA is lovely and well earned. Loved it.

Oops I Fell for the Ranch Hand Next Door is the kind of romance that wraps you up from the very first chapter. Jessie’s burnout feels real, and I loved watching her arrive at Granitehart Ranch carrying the weight of a life that had taken too much from her. Eli sees that exhaustion immediately, and his quiet determination to help without judgment made him impossible not to love.

What really stood out was the way Eli shows his feelings through actions. From coffee at sunrise to making sure Jessie never has to face things alone, every gesture felt thoughtful and sincere. Their chemistry is strong, but it’s the comfort and safety they find in each other that gives the story its heart. And honestly, Ruckus the rooster nearly stole the show more than once.

If I had one small wish, it would be for a little more time with Jessie settling into her new future once she made her decision. I enjoyed these characters enough that I wasn’t quite ready to let them go.

Overall, this is a sweet, steamy, feel-good romance with a protective ranch hand, a heroine learning how to put herself first, and a love story that feels warm, comforting, and deeply satisfying. A wonderful addition to the series.

I had such a fun time with Oops I Fell for the Ranch Hand Next Door! Tiffany Bloom knows exactly how to deliver a cozy, high-energy romance with heart, humor, and just the right amount of ranch-life mayhem. From the wildflower meadow meet-cute to the scene-stealing rooster, this story had me smiling from the start.

Jessie and Eli make such an irresistible pair. Their connection feels immediate, warm, and wonderfully protective, and I loved the emotional comfort woven through the story. Bloom’s writing is playful and vivid, with details that make Granitehart Ranch feel like a place you can practically step into—mud, coffee, wildflowers, chickens, and all.

This is the kind of quick, happy read that feels like a treat: charming, affectionate, and full of feel-good devotion. If you enjoy small-town ranch romance, protective heroes, resilient heroines, guaranteed happily-ever-afters, and a little barnyard chaos for good measure, this one is absolutely worth adding to your Kindle queue. Five stars!.

Eli and Jessie . . .

Eli Abbot finds a woman, Jessie Webb, in the middle of a neighbor's wildflower meadow and ready to collapse. He knows what burn-out looks like from his own experience as a firefighter and he now works at Granitehart Ranch and is in a much better place. He finds out she is an ER nurse who walked off the job, and again he recognizes that exhaustion because he went through it himself. The ranch manager assigned her an easy job of collecting the morning eggs. Unfortunately, their rooster Ruckus attacks her the first day and Eli goes into protective mode. Eli already knows she will need backup and coffee as she learns the job, and he's right there when she needs him.

Her first time laughing occurs when a rainstorm has them chasing the chickens all over the place. She is wet and muddy and actually had fun. She's beginning to heal. And then the hospital calls her asking her to return to her job. Will Eli let that happen? Will Jessie have any desire at all to return to that hectic pace? Or has she found what she needs right here?

“But what if I’m wrong?” Jessie is running on no sleep, no food, no idea where she’s going. After walking out on her shift in the ER she drove for three days before she found herself standing in a wildflower meadow two breaths away from shattering. Eli should have told her she was trespassing but instead he offered her a seasonal job at Granitehart Ranch. Eli left the fire squad and found his home on the ranch, when he meets Jessie he sees the same hurt in her that he sees in himself, and decides she isn’t leaving, she just didn’t know it yet. Tiffany’s contribution to the Oops I Fell For the ___________Next Door multi-author series was healing for my soul. I 100% recommend it for your next read. “Maybe that’s what doing good actually means: being present when it matters, refusing to let someone shatter alone, building a life solid enough that deciding to stay feels safer than running.”.

I also loved the ranch setting: it added such a cozy, charming atmosphere to the romance. This was a wonderful story! She walked out of the ER in the middle of a shift because she just couldn't take it anymore. She drives without having any destination in mind. She ends up stopping at a field filled with wildflowers. He finds her sitting there and desides she's his to take care of. He recognizes what she's going through because he did the same thing 4 years ago. He walked away from being a firefighter for the same reason.

They both need to heal from their trauma. Can they help each other heal? Can he convince her that she's worthy of love? Can he convince her to stay there where she's healthy and healing or will she head back to the job that almost killed her when the dangle a promotion in front of her? She has to decide what she's worth. Amazing emotional healing for both characters.

This is a great novella of picking what is best for your life and mental health.
When you are given your perfect position once you walk out - you are taken for granted

Jessie is a burnout ER nurse that ends up in Granitehart ranch, running away from her life.

Eli finds her on the ranch private road and recognizes himself in her.

There is a temporary position open - it means a new beginning for her.

Her boss offers her the perfect position she had been waiting for and Eli is conflicted.

Jessie and Eli are so great together. He is much further ahead in the healing process, able to guide her through it and also let her pick what is best for her.

I love how they both have super similar backgrounds, and how he knew how to help her recognize there was more to life.

Recommended.

If you are looking for a heartwarming, high-heat small-town ranch romance filled with dual burnout healing and a fiercely protective hero, Oops, I Fell For The Ranch Hand Next Door by Tiffany Bloom is an absolute triumph!

The chemistry between Eli Abbot (a former firefighter turned SAR ranch hand) and Jessie Webb (a burned-out ER nurse) is electric from the moment he finds her in a wildflower meadow. Watching Eli show up at dawn with coffee, leave wildflowers on her porch, and completely worship her body during a rainstorm in his cabin delivers peak emotional swoon and top-tier spice.

A perfect blend of small-town charm, protective caretaking, and a guaranteed HEA! Highly recommended!.

Jessie is a burnt out ER Nurse who has spent the past 15 years caring for others’ After not being able to save a teen who overdosed, she walks out mid shift and ends up driving ending up in a wildflower field in Granitehart Ranch. There she meet Eli, a ranch hand who has worked for the ranch for four years after leaving his job as a firefighter after his own trauma. This was such a wonderful story of fighting for what you want, not burning out a job that takes everything. Ell is so patient, loving and kind to Jessie. I loved the coffee each morning, wildflowers, the spice, found family, and so much heart.

Oops, I Fell For The Ranch Hand Next Door by Tiffany Bloom is an entertaining and endearing romance that has you rooting for Eli and Jessie from their first meet. Their acceptance of the journey, its conflicts and joys, the vulnerability, and the trusting one another along the way makes their story even more remarkable. This author has a way of making her characters shine and be seen throughout their entire journey and with every heart-felt emotion. Oops, I Fell For The Ranch Hand Next Door is part of the multi-author series, Oops I Fell for the... Next Door.

The MCs are learning how to let someone else take care of them. The FMC burned out at her nursing position. She lost a patient then got in her car and drove away. She drove for 3 days from Ohio, not knowing where she was going. She ends up in a meadow in Texas. The MMC is a ranch hand near that meadow. He sees her breaking, helps her get a job and a place to stay. He’s teaching her jobs on the ranch. That’s how their journey begins. Good spice and a sweet HEA.

An emotional story about a heroine trying to figure out her life after exhaustion at work. Some guidance from a similarly experienced hero might help, and falling for each other could assist as well. An ultimatum seems harsh, but some people have limitations regarding living in emotional limbo with uncertainty about a future together or apart. But would she choose farm life over any other possibility, given that she has hundreds of options rather than just two?.

Part of the "Oops I Fell for the .... Next Door" series - various authors. Jessie Webb walked out of an ER in Ohio and drove until a sign for a wildflower field stopped her and that's where Eli found her - standing amongst all the flowers. He knew exactly how she felt. A former firefighter who only saved three out of four in a house fire and lived with the guilt every day. Now he worked at Granitehart Ranch and helped with SAR. He knew that if he could just talk Jessie into staying that the ranch would heal her too.

Jessie walked out on her shift. She was done. Couldn't do it anymore. So she started driving until she couldn't go any further. She ended up in a field of flowers enjoying the beauty. She hadn't done anything like that in many years. Then a cowboy walked into the field and suggested she go to the ranch next door, they had a job opening for the season.

Eli saw her in the field and knew she needed to heal. He also knew he wanted to be there to help her.

Can two people help each other heal?.

This was another great story by Tiffany Bloom. This book had me wanting to finish the book to see how it ended. This book had alot of unexpected happening that made for a great read. Now this is what a heart-warming, finding love in mid-life story should be. Eli is an ex-firefighter who turned to being a ranch hand, he meets Jessie in a meadow next to the ranch. Jessie is a burnt out ER nurse who just needs to believe she deserves love and not expect to owe anyone for caring. Their HEA shows how just consistently showing up makes all the difference in this must-read.

Oops I Fell For The Ranch Hand Next Door is part of a multi-author series of standalone novellas. Jessie and Eli's story is a later-in-life instalove romance between two burnt-out first responders who first bond over shared trauma and then over shared ranch chores. I liked both Jessie and Eli as main characters, but overall the plot didn't really resonate with me. I received an early copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book is full of healing as well as some angst. Jessie has experienced some trauma and running away led her to Eli. Both of them need each other to realize that the traumas in their past do not define them. This book had a lot of buildup and kept me turning the page to see how their story would move along.

“Oops I Fell for the Ranch Hand Next Door” by Tiffany Bloom

-This is a steamy, touching romance about starting over. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Jessie’s exhaustion feels real, and Eli’s patient care makes their fast connection easy to root for. Coffee, wildflowers, and a troublemaking rooster bring sweetness and humor to their emotional healing.
Watching both learn to accept love makes the happy ending and sweet epilogue especially rewarding.

Jessie has finally left the life that was killing her and she find more than wildflowers in the meadow. Eli knows burnout when he sees it, but he also sees the chance at forever if they are brave enough to reach for it. A healing, found family, love story with a kick of spice and yearning to keep things lively.

Jessie is an ER nurse who walks off her shift and drives until she breaks. Eli is a former firefighter turned Granitehart Ranch hand who recognizes her exhaustion because he’s lived it. Their connection ignites the moment he finds her in a wildflower meadow—shaken, sleepless, and two breaths from shattering. He quietly decides she’s someone he’s meant to protect. When she gets a call to go back to the life that nearly broke her, will she choose to go back or stay with Eli?
