~ Rawley ~
When I arrived at Black Butte Ranch, I anticipated a small, dilapidated farm, but instead, I discovered five thousand acres of prime farming land. Recently inherited from my grandfather, this ranch is a hidden treasure. With my two horses and a fierce determination, I set out to restore the farm and forge a new beginning. As I explored the property, I stumbled upon someone squatting in the farmhouse—a captivating young man named Joseph “Jojo” Stinson. His vivid blue eyes and sandy blond hair drew me in as he apologized for his situation.

~ Jojo ~
After being kicked out by my image-conscious parents at sixteen for being an omega, I had been fending for myself ever since. I juggled various jobs to make ends meet, but I recently lost my apartment when the bakery where I worked closed down. In desperate need of shelter, I began living in the abandoned farmhouse, cleaning it up while ensuring no signs of my presence were visible outside. Now, the rightful owner has arrived.

As we worked together on the ranch, our connection deepened into an unexpected and undeniable bond. What started as physical passion blossomed into love, making us inseparable. When Jojo became pregnant with our child—thanks to my alpha trait—the news solidified our commitment to each other and our future at Black Butte Ranch. However, external forces threaten our happiness; someone covets Black Butte Ranch and isn’t afraid to resort to underhanded tactics to claim it. If we can endure this challenge, we just might build something beautiful together.

Good

The book has a wonderful storyline to it. There seems to be some places where you lose track of what is happening. It also makes you feel like you have lost your place. Some stuff that is mentioned earlier in the book is left out. I’m hoping the rest of the series is not like this.
But it is a good story about found family and belonging along with something you can believe in. It gets 4 stars 🌟. 💜❤️

Rawley inherits a huge, thriving ranch and discovers Jojo living secretly in the old farmhouse after being kicked out by his parents and losing his home. Working together turns their initial connection into love, and Jojo’s pregnancy cements their bond. But someone covets the ranch, threatening the future they’re trying to build.

I really enjoyed this story, especially the instant connection between Rawley and JoJo and the fierce determination Rawley showed in giving JoJo safety, stability, and real protection. Their bond felt genuine from the start, and watching Rawley step up for him again and again was one of the highlights of the book. The threat to the ranch added a dramatic, danger‑filled layer that kept the tension high. Rawley slipping into full SEAL mode — backed by his capable friends — made those moments exciting and satisfying. I also loved the added depth from Rawley’s family drama, which gave the story even more emotional weight. Overall, this was a great start to the series. The emotions and feelings were easy to understand and feel, making the journey warm, engaging, and very enjoyable. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Good start

There were a few parts that got slow for me but overall, A good read. I liked the way everyone came together to protect the found and actual family. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this mix mash of people. Tough as nails, SEALS and corporate high end Steele.

the mother of black butte ranch

Don’t mess with Black butte ranch! It bites back harder and meaner.
Rawley is fierce. Jojo is the quiet backbone the ranch was waiting for. Panic and Disorder 🤣🤣 perfect!!!!

So, second time Reading this saga Omegaverse, cause i was needing to catch up with the other books. Rawley is really a man with short words, but a man who know what he wants, and don't take a shit on the ones that threaten his family. Jojo really was a refreshing as his talents in gardening ❤️

Stopped at 21%. I liked the characters and the premise, but portions of the scenes and dialogue were repetitive.

Un bonne romance douce sans prise de tete toutefois pas aussi passionnante que certaines de ses autres series

DNF on 3rd chapter
Rawley is oozing toxic masculinity. Timeline is unclear. Writing is bad.
maybe come back to it if will be desperate.

a comparación de sus libros anteriores se nota una clara mejoría en el desarrollo de las tramas y en su escritura. es un libro de baja angustia pero muy cuchi de found family, insta love y vaqueros(? no es lo mejor que he leído pero es bueno para pasar el rato
