You have to have Faith

This is my first time reading a book by this author. It grabbed my attention right from the beginning until the end. I love how well the characters were developed, to the point whete I was ready to tell the character stop living in the past and always doubting and second guess everything. Another character made me so angry that I wanted to see him get his comeuppance right away. Most of all the verbal abuse and wanting to sell your child to the highest bidder was just sad and horrible.
This book will have you on a emotional rollercoaster, along with some life lessons and wisdom to learn. Have Faith and believe that God can take any bad situation and turn it around for good.
I highly recommend this book and I look forward to reading more by this Author.

The First Story

Although I read them out of order it worked. This is the book to read before Deadly Affections. Both are great stories, full of family and suspense. This is the story of Cole and Allontis. Both characters could have been a little stronger I think, but it was worth the read.

Follow Your Heart

I enjoyed reading this Christian love story about Cole and Lonnie, in which they press through their own doubts and fears to find what God has for them. It was amazingly refreshing. I can hardly wait to read the other books about the Parker’s Family.

Anchored Hearts is a fantastic very well written delightful romance novel with a wonderful mix of suspense. Allontis is the self-doubting, walk all over me type female that grows into a strong embodiment of the community. Cole is the hero and one of the five Parker brothers who is afraid of commitment, a chef and business owner. Traced Garner has written this story without colorful sex scenes. I thought it was going to be free of foul language and was until the end where there where a couple of times that curse words were a part of the text. I feel that it could have been written without those words and not hurt the story or changed the affect. Overlooking this, the theme of foster parenting and abuse was of great interest to me as I have worked with domestic abuse and adopted two sons. I was given a copy for an honest review.
