Engaged to a woman he despises, forced to keep a mistress who’s spying on him for the enemy, and preparing to play-act a romance with the Alpha’s granddaughter, Cameron Haversham Smythe is in no position to claim his true mate. But destiny presents her to him anyway, leaving Cam no choice but to keep as much distance between himself and the beautiful fashion writer as possible. If he can just avoid her long enough to do his part in saving the world, he’d then be free to give in to his cat’s intense desires.
Antonia Maggarria has three identities. Her first is as an Italian fashion writer; the second is as an investigative blogger digging for evidence to bring down the Guild; and the third is as the genetically engineered mate for one of the Scorpio Sons. But the last she isn’t aware of until she sets her sights on Cameron, the arrogant English nobleman she believes to be the worst of the worst of the Guild, and finds herself instantly attracted to him. But no matter how tempting she finds him, Toni is determined to bring his crimes to light. That is, if he’ll let her get close enough to do so.

Nhys Glover is an Australian born award-winning author of over 75 romance novels. She is known for blending heart, heat, and a touch of the extraordinary in her stories. From time-traveling lovers to soul-deep polyamory connections, her work explores love in all its transformational forms.
Now living in Durham County UK, Nhys draws on her background in teaching and spiritual inquiry for inspiration in her writing. As she sits at her desk, staring out at the windy moors, she often reflects on what it means to stay human in an increasingly digital world. It is, after all, the subject of her newest book, a non-fiction called Authenticity, as Taught by a Machine.
But no matter the genre, Nhys is always chasing one thing: the truth at the heart of every story.

I had such a hard time getting into this book. I have no idea why. I found myself stopping a lot trying to get through it. I just didnt find it as interesting as the others. Sorry...just couldnt get into it. I think I am probably done with the series unfortunately. I have no ill will to the author and will probably continue to read her stuff. Just this series in particular I am burned out I think which is weird cause I LOVED the other ones. I think maybe its because I built up Cameron so much in my mind that once I started reading I was a little disappointed somehow. Oh well. I can see others love this and dont take my reivew to heart. Give it a try. :)

DNF

Marks another dud for me. The leading character starts out as a Mary Jane, complete with molding career and expensive Gucci glasses. However her farther likes to drive exploding experiment, environmental friendly, and not on the market Bugs... that are too small for his wide and large frame.

Than our lady is also a mystery blogger and something else. I've read all I need to know about this book.

No thanks.

Scorpio Sons 5...

Delightfully written. The harder they fought against falling for each other the harder they hit when it finally happens. Love knows no bounds. This book was passionate, dramatic, and action packed.
