My creator made me with electricity, thread, and an iron will. His masterpiece, his showgirl, his monster of the night. The head of this circus from hell may adore me, but the rest of the circus? They loathe me. Especially the leader of the clowns, Spiral, who wants me dead. Well, more dead. He hasn’t figured out how to kill the already-deceased girl yet. I’m permitted to hunt, eat, and kill one audience member per show night to satisfy my corrupt cravings. But that desperation to feed off fear and human flesh slowly morphs into something much more feral, addictive, and needy when I see the stepbrothers in the stands—one small, shiny, sweet, and easy; the other tall, muscled, protective, and a challenge. The crackling tension between Arlo and Micha unleashes something inside me, and I become fixated. The ringmaster tells me he’s going away to find a new test subject. That’s when I find the creature locked away in the cage with gills and webbed fingers who asks me to free him, and I’m far too fascinated to care that I’m betraying orders. Three of them want my legs and mouth spread. One wants me dead. An evil clown. Two opposing stepbrothers. A caged creature. And a cannibalistic dead girl. There’s no way for me to navigate this. But what I do know is that once my teeth and claws sink into their flesh, there’s no going back.
‘Circus From Hell’ is a dark, monster, MMMMF romance, with themes and language that some readers may find offensive. Please check the triggers at the beginning of the book or at www.kenzoash.com/books for more information.
Kenzo Ash is a dark romance author from England. From mafia to monster—she writes it all. As long as it's dark, dastardly, and depraved, she's there. Her favourite tropes are taboo and why choose, and she's a sucker for the weird and wacky. If you're looking for a book that'll leave you dripping and wanting more, you've come to the right author.
This book was one hell of a ride that i will be taking over and over again, I'm offically obsessed. In this book you follow Karma a ragdoll that has a taste for flesh who is normally under lock and key by the circus ringmaster. When the ringmaster leaves town and puts Spiral in charge things turn into havoc real quick. Then you meet Arlo and Micah (step brothers) who have an obbession in finding Karma but they arent the only ones to join when Soren (An aquatic experiment) also wants a piece. You follow them on a journey of pleasure and obsession and one I'd personally say you dont wanna miss. This is a pitch black monster romance so please read your triggers. This was one of the spicest books I've read this year and as pitch black as it comes. If you love your romance unhinged and your spice to make you doubt your sanity then this is definitely the read for you. Highly Recommend!
This was my first read by kenzo and it did not disappoint! I was hooked from the start!
This book follows karma - our undead, circus performing local cannibal. She’s been hidden from the world her whole life. Arlo and Micha are the only humans of the group. They also happen to be stepbrothers 😉 Then we have Soren our big undefined monster. He probably the most accepting of the group. And lastly Spiral, our hypnotic clown round out this why choose romance. Each of her men are exactly what she’s need just in different ways. They compliment every side of her. The chemistry between them all has you feeling all types of ways. The found family in this book is one of my favourite parts. It’s completely unhinged but in the best way 🤪 The spice in this book!? Next level 🌶️
Karma is a cannibal living dead girl, Kreo is the circus ringmaster and creator of monsters Arlo and Micha are step brothers who love each other 😜 Soren is a giant blue man with a tentacle peen! Spiral is a clown with double peen and is obsessed with karma 👀 hate - love?
Kero has created monsters, from rats with chicken legs to a literal cannibal living dead girl.
Karma has been hidden away, conditioned by her master not to feel anything, her objective is to hunt, kill, eat! She thrives on fear, Until she comes across Arlo and Micha.
Arlo isn’t as scared as he should be and that piques Karma’s interests, she soon discovers what lust and arousal feels like.
There are 4 MMCS,… 5 yes 5 peens 👀 and 1 living dead girl … what a ride!
It’s giving Frankenstein x American horror story vibes and I’m here for it!
I have a new favorite monster horrormance and new addition to my top 5 reads of 2026, thus far. Circus From Hell was absolutely amazing and I need more! This was my first Kenzo Ash read and it's safe to say I am HOOKED. All of their other books have been added to my ever growing TBR.
Karma, our FMC, is a circus performer and the undead creation of the show's Ringmaster, Kreo. Karma is a cannibal and isn't really in touch with her human side. Kreo has kept her hidden away from the world, unless he has her in the center ring performing on her ribbons. That is, until Kreo takes off for a week, leaving the circus in the care of his number one clown, Karma's fellow science experiment and nemesis, Spiral. And that's basically the beginning of Karma's education in human feelings, sensations and relationships. Enter Arlo and Micah, the human stepbrothers who start said education. Arlo is already strangely obsessed with Karma after seeing her ragdoll-like appearance on a Circus poster. So he drags a very suspicious, untrusting and clown hating Micah along with him, and from that moment on, the story kicks into overdrive and doesn't slow down until literally the last word. We meet Soren, a water based humanoid monster and another of Kreo's test subjects, on the way. Who, along with Arlo, Micah and eventually even Spiral, helps educate Karma in the ways of pleasure and life as a human. Each is obsessed with, possessive of and extremely protective of our blue, undead girl with the bells in her hair.
Look, you know I don't do spoilers. On top of there being SO much material to discuss within these pages, I'm trying to keep it short, so you can get on with reading it already. Circus From Hell is a why choose monster romance that gets downright dirty and depraved. Arlo, Micah, Soren and Spiral are perfect for Karma, each one matching a particular need or kink she has. CFH kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Will Kreo accept the new version of Karma, when he returns, and let her go or will he reject her? Will there be a HEA? Will Karma and Spiral hate f*!? each other to death? Will Micah and Arlo sort out the skeletons in their closets? All questions I was asking myself right up the end. If you enjoy pitch black monster romance reads with...
...and much more, including a SORT of cliffhanger ending that will leave you frothing at the mouth for the next one, then you will eat this book TF up. Just like I did. As always, I urge you to thoroughly go over the trigger warning and content lists before diving in. This book is bloody, violent and touches on a lot of dark themes and situations. These characters are flawed and dark, each has trauma of some kind and they don't always handle it in a civilized manner. Your mental well-being is vastly more important than a book. So please take care and if this one isn't for you, that's ok! Now, if you do decide to go forth and read it after that, then I wish you an enjoyable read, and I hope you'll love it as much as I do!
Story : ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️ Violence & Gore : 🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸 Spice : 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (yes 10 out of 5) Over All : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Review of advance copy received from Author Thank you so much for sending this to me. 💜
DNF @ 205 pages - It's me, not you!! This book was outside of what I have previously read, which is why I was so excited to try it out. All the dark themes and trigger warnings don't bother me at all, the opposite actually. Sounds like a fun time. And the book have a bunch of cool characters + illustrations of them (love that detail.)
The only reason I didnt vibe with this book is because it is soo much smuttier than I prefer a book to be. It really is just a problem of I am not the target audience for this book. It has some great spicy scenes, and really weeird things going on, but I just don't really like reading straight up erotica. I prefer much more plot and romance to be able to enjoy the spice and the book overall. So really it's on me, not the book itself.
So even tho I DNF this book, I truly think others out there would love this! If you want something spicy and fucked up weird and slightly "wrong", this is for you! 🤡🐙🎪
Circus from hell is everything you could ever want from an erotic horror! It follows Karma, a living dead cannibal who discovers her true self and love for men.
The smut was top tier and gave us everything I could only dream of. I hate seeing fictional characters live my dream. I have so much to say about this book and how fantastic is was, so let me break it down!!
-MMMMF -one guy with two dicks -another with a tentacle for a dick, as well as a breeding kink -cock piercings -orgies -questionable necrophilia??? -forked snake tongues -split tongue -a rat with duck legs (who we would die for) -a detachable head... let your imagination run wild with that one -wonderful wonderful smut -a fantastic plot twist -did I mention two dicks and a tentacle???
I hate seeing fictional characters live my dream!!
Thank you so much to the author for an arc of Circus from Hell, all views and opinions are mine and have been left voluntarily.
Where the fuck do I start, I truly have a love hate relationship with Kenzo right now. The absolute rollercoaster of emotions she has had me on for someone who literally has no emotions goes to show how well and addicting this book really is. Kenzo was playing with heartstrings that I don’t even have! THE SMUT!!! As a VERY straight man I’ll admit I’ve never wanted two men to fuck so damn bad! (IYKYK)👀👀 The patience was wearing thin that’s for sure. The development with the characters was written so well I had soft spots for characters that I never thought I would from a clown monster smut fest. At points my mind was so intrigued yet thrown off at the same time. This by far was fucking incredible and goes up there as one of my top 5 books.
Well……..that was…..something. 😶😅😅 Don’t get me wrong, I devoured this book, but it made me question myself. 🤣 I imagine a Devil’s Carnival vibe crossed with Frankenstein. Why choose, monsters, depravity, gore and ALL the 🌶️!!!!!! I want to say more on that, but don’t want to give spoilers. I will say…step-brothers, hate sex, a living dead girl and an unusual appendage. 🤭 Well done Kenzi Ash, I will definitely be coming back for the next book. This one ended this part of the story, so not really a cliffhanger, but set it up for the next book. If you need a read that makes you question yourself I suggest giving this one a try. I received an ARC of this book and am leaving my honest opinion.

It's just one big o-gy (with a plot). Not that I'm complaining.
This is book one from the "Sadistic Spectacles" series and I'm so obsessed with it already. There's so much debauchery, spice and fun times. Honestly? One of my favourite horror romance, circus themed, monster romances of all times. Book two is expected in 2027!
Karma is an unnatural, unexplainable creation of Kreo. He stitches her together, brings her to life, and allows her to her hunt and kill and eat once every show night. He leaves Spiral, his right hand man, to keep an eye on her and the camp in his absence for a fort night. Karma, stubborn as ever, wants Arlo and his Micha. Spiral is fighting his growing obsession with her. She finds a hidden monster inside a cage Kreo left behind and he falls for her. What happens when all men want her, but she doesn't want just one? What of Kreo's private dairies about his creations?
Karma is our FMC and she's a formidable, terrifying looking woman. However, she can also be very adorable sometimes, for example, taking metaphors literally or not understanding a situation like an everyday human would. There is an innocence to her that just makes me want to hug her because all she's ever wanted is to be wanted really, for her, and not be referred to as a monster. She is her own person. She's caring and loving in an emotional connection and her character growth is bad-ass!
Arlo got an innocent, unassuming aura, yet charming personality. Vibrant and sweet, gets scared easily at times. Such a cutie! But don't let his gentle looks deceive you, he has a "decorated" appendage. He's grown up in a broken family and finds comfort with his step-brother, Micha. His background is very sad and painful and shocking. A sensitive and shy soul, albeit, surprisingly brave.
Micha is the tall and broody one. Unlike Arlo, when he encounters Karma, he is wary of her and judges by her scary appearance, but over time he warms up to her. He wants her just as much as Arlo does. He can behave cruel/selfish at times, but he truly does have a super possessive and protective side for his step-brother. Adorbs! Your big papa bear with an ice heart really. His background is heartbreaking and the correlation of his hatred towards clowns makes sense after delving deeper into layers of his past. His and Karma's scenes are a tad bit tamer than the others', but hot nonetheless.
Their backstory is the most horrifying, heart-wrenching one for me. How could their parents do that to boys? Talk about trauma. My heart breaks for them and what they had to endure.
Spiral is the leader of the clowns in the circus and loves to bully and boss around Karma whenever he may get the chance. He likes to make her feel on edge, to remind constantly remind her she means nothing to him, jealous he is no longer Kreo's favourite until she came along. He also has an unhinged, obsessive streak. The amount of territorial, desperate, violent jealousy he has for Karma is absolutely delicious! Only she can make the incessant, merciless pain go away. The injection is diabolical!. All of his and Karma's scenes are delicious.
Soren is captured by Kreo. He's not human - then again - even he doesn't know what exactly he is. Abandoned at an early age by his mother and people around his, he's had to learn life the hard way. The man is a force to reck with though: possessive, domineering, and has a dirty mouth on him. As well as a tentacle D. My fave scene of him and Karma is when she detaches her head from her neck. That is insane! I LOVE IT. That was such a hawt spicy scene. Although the cage scene is scrumptious, too.
Overall, the storyline isn't overcomplicated and easy to follow. The characters are all interesting in their own ways, including the FMC and all four MMCs. Each are so individually so different from each other and yet share the same goal: pleasing Karma. Some other characters, like Moxy and Dolly were intriguing as well. Moxy with her crazy envy/hatred towards Karma because of Spiral's unhealthy obsession for Karma. And Dolly's silent but very effective role within the circus - although, I'm not sure where I stand with her. Snake is so endearing, the FMC's little companion/pet. Kreo gives "mad scientist" vibes. He's f-cking heartless. Crazy. A fabulous villain! And the ending is so good with the Epilogue! I cannot wait for book two and meet Chaos!
So. I don't know how else to convince without spoiling every thing? Because you NEED this book.
YOU NEED IT.
P.S. I'm sorry, but when all Hell breaks loose and Arlo throws a shoe at Kreo? The way I wheezed laughing. He's so random sometimes, I love him for that!
Well… I officially understand the monster romance obsession now.
Circus From Hell by Kenzo Ash was my first real introduction to monster romance, and going in as a complete newcomer, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. I definitely wasn’t expecting to become this invested, but here we are. Kenzo Ash may have set the bar ridiculously high with this one because I’m not sure how anything is supposed to follow it!
I’ve always been drawn to books with circus settings. Give me a mysterious traveling show, strange performers, questionable secrets, and a slightly chaotic atmosphere under the big top, and I’m interested. But this circus is definitely not the cheerful kind. There’s something wonderfully dark, bizarre, creepy, and completely addictive about the world Kenzo Ash created, and I was pulled into it almost immediately.
And then we meet Karma.
Honestly, Karma is such a perfect name for this particular heroine. She’s an undead girl with an appetite that is considerably more complicated than anyone initially assumes, and she is stitched together in a way that gives serious Frankenstein vibes. She is weird, fearless, entertaining, and absolutely capable of holding her own among the collection of monsters and humans surrounding her.
And what a collection that is.
Spiral, the jealous and hypnotic clown, Soren, the gilled monster, and the two humans, Arlo and Micha, make up Karma’s very unconventional group of love interests. Somehow, this combination works ridiculously well. Every character brings something different to the dynamic, and the interactions between them can go from hilarious to tense to completely chaotic in no time.
I especially loved Arlo and Micha constantly finding their way back into Karma’s orbit during the circus’s short stay. They seem to have an impressive talent for getting themselves into situations they probably shouldn’t be in, and I was absolutely entertained by every bit of it.
And the little Arlo hug moments? I loved those! 🥹 They added such a sweet contrast to all the madness happening around them.
The circus itself is only in town for two weeks, which gives everything this strange sense of urgency. There’s always something happening, whether it’s Karma dealing with the other performers, someone getting into trouble, secrets coming to the surface, or the relationships becoming increasingly complicated.
Kreos, Karma’s creator, is definitely a character I found myself disliking, but I loved what happened whenever he wasn’t around. Suddenly everyone had a little more freedom to make their own choices, and naturally, that freedom led to plenty of chaos.
One of my biggest surprises was discovering that this book has an actual story underneath all the heat. Yes, there is plenty of adventurous and unconventional spice, but it isn’t simply scene after scene without substance. There’s a genuine plot, action, character development, and enough going on that I kept wanting to know what was going to happen next.
The characters also surprised me. With a setup like this, it would have been easy for the love interests to feel like nothing more than different monster archetypes, but Kenzo Ash gives them personalities, motivations, and individual dynamics with Karma. That made the reverse-harem/why-choose relationship so much more enjoyable for me.
And the spice?
Let’s just say my first experience with monster smut was certainly memorable. 😂 The scenes are wild, creative, intense, and definitely not afraid to push boundaries. If you’re someone who likes your romance on the adventurous side, this book absolutely brings it.
That said, definitely check the trigger warning menu before starting. This story goes into some dark and taboo territory, so knowing what you’re getting into is important.
I went into Circus From Hell expecting something unusual and fun, and instead I ended up completely hooked on Karma, her strange little circus family, and the madness happening beneath that big top.
Dark fantasy, monsters, humor, danger, found connections, chaotic relationships, and an absolutely bonkers amount of heat—somehow Kenzo Ash managed to throw all of that together and make it work.
I came for the circus.
I stayed for Karma, Spiral, Soren, Arlo, and Micha.
And now I’m sitting here wondering what the hell I’m supposed to read after this!
I was very kindly given a copy of this as an ARC to read- I just want to start by saying the review is still my own thoughts and feelings..
I've tried to not spoil too much -Why Choose - MMMMF - Cannibalistic FMC - Stepbrothers - Touch her and RIP - Monster - Tentacle - Cage Fun - Clowns
But all I can really start with is wow wow wow.. Before you even start this book, please please please note this is a pitch black monster romance so check the trigger warnings- your mental health matters and some of the moments in this book are quite dark and could easily upset.
Firstly we've got Karma- our sweet dead girl (yes you read that right) She's our feisty yet sweet girl who has a taste for human flesh. She's not quite there with humans yet, she doesn't quite get them until she meets the duo.
The duo AKA Arlo & Micha (The step brothers) - Very very different from one another, both have been through a traumatic past together and apart. Micha is very protective of his little brother and admittedly doesn't want to share him. He's pretty much the dominant in their relationship. Arlo is our soft boy - well soft on the inside, pierced appendage and a tatted bod on the outside. He's very golden retriever, loyal and soft, wanting cuddles and being a little scared of some things. But for his pack he'll do whatever he has too even if it pushes him out of his comfort zone.
Our hypnotic clown- Spiral. The leader of the clowns, the one they all look up. Dressed in black and white with hypnotic eyes. He has very strong feelings towards Karma at the beginning and then very strong feelings towards her at the end too!! He's jealous, he's possessive, he's morally morally grey, he's a walking red flag... Buuuuut we love him, he's in pain and Karma can help him. Does he do some questionable/downright nasty stuff? Sure he does. Does he have an extra appendage? Yup also that. Do I have a personal soft spot for him? Yeppppp Does he completely switch personalities? Maybe!
Then our unknown - Soren. Even Soren doesn't know what he is, again a sad back story. But a strong story going forward. He's also possessive, feisty and the dominant one. Not being human has given him a tentacle appendage, but who doesn't love that ahah! Soren is caring, and loyal again bringing comfort through his size and dominance over the group. He's the Daddy of the group.
I don't want to give too much of the plot away as I want you to be able to read it yourself- it's easy to follow and the spice level is 5/5 also. Lots and lots of 'group loving', possessiveness, claiming, marking, eating, biting, exploring.
I mean there's a Daddy, a Dom, 2 subs and a Karma.. We aren't supposed to chose here.. And this pack is beautifully broken, yet them being together also fixes something deep within them.
'I have an evil clown who understands the ache that comes before desperation, A sweet masochist who lets me sink my teeth into him, A sadist who keeps me in check and tests our boundaries, And a monster who cares about his pack so deeply that he'll do whatever it takes to keep us together'
They really are a dream team and I can't wait for everyone to meet them.
Arc review: 🤭 Circus from Hell by Kenzo Ash is a monster why choose mmmmf Romance, with morally black MFC and has taboo theme of stepbrothers, which everyone who knows me, is my favourite trope in the universe of books.
The spice is 5/5 🌶️ and this book is 5/5 I think I just found a freaky book that matches my freak! Every Spice scene I ate it up, every chapter is INSANE! This story follows Karma she’s was made in a lab by this guy named Kreo, who makes up these monsters for the circus.
Karma is a cannibal dead but alive girl 🤭 she finds her sexual awakening when she lust after Arlo, who by the way is so flipping adorable, a cutie patootie he’s obsessed with his step brother Micha.
Micha is one of my favorite characters in this book, he’s very much like me in a sense, that’s why I clicked with him. He hides his feelings, he is overprotective, he’s got a fear of clowns (boy,me too), him and Arlo had me in a chokehold I’d die for them (not to be dramatic 😂).
than were introduced to this Jerk of a clown called Spiral who btw I didn’t like at first but than he lowkey gave me chills (the good kind) he gave Enemies to lovers vibes and I am here for it. He acted like he hated karma but deep down he wanted her to himself (boy same I’d die for her as well), he is hot and sexy (which is weird to say cause I’m terrified of clowns but he won me over) the spiral and karma scene had me .
The amount of times that had me go WTF 😂 is insane. After this we meet the 4th Male into karmas mix of hot boyfriends and i absolutely love him Soren he’s a blue monster with a tentacle dick and I’m here for it the things he does with it 🫨🫨 and the way he C*ms is insane 🫡 girl I’m here for it,freaks just being freaks together and accepting that she isn’t choosing one is sexy as fuck. Karma GET YOUR MEN!
I love how obsessed they all are over her🤭 this story had me go through so many emotions, I feel honoured to be apart of her Arc team. I loved this book and the ending had me crying happy tears, I want more😭 my girl karma and her boys this book is so good! I recommend you give this book a chance I highly recommend it! I just became a fan of hers Definitely a 5/5 star read for me and I would read this over and over
CW: Dark romance. Graphic violence, gore, blood, cannibalism, murder, death/undead FMC, body horror, captivity/caging, obsessive/possessive behavior, stalking, evil clown horror. Explicit sexual content - MMMMF / why-choose. Please check the author's website for the full list.
Circus From Hell is everything I want in a dark monster romance and then some.
We follow Frankenstein's masterpiece - a showgirl stitched together with electricity and sheer will. She's technically a corpse, but she doesn't let that stop her. She's beautiful, feral, hungry, and she feeds on fear. She's allowed one audience member per show night, until she spots two stepbrothers in the crowd and becomes obsessed.
This book is unhinged in the best way. Kenzo Ash doesn't hold back. The circus itself feels alive - glittery, rotting, bloody, and claustrophobic. You can feel the sawdust and dread.
The romance is why-choose MMMMF and it works so well because each character brings something different. Arlo is sweet, small, and easy to love. Micha is tall, muscled, and fiercely protective. The tension between the brothers and her is incredible. Then there's the gilled creature in the cage, mysterious and heartbreaking, and Spiral, the clown leader who wants her dead. The dynamic of three who want her and one who wants her gone makes for such addictive conflict.
What I loved most is the FMC. She is truly monstrous. Not "morally grey girlboss" monstrous - actually cannibalistic, possessive, claws-and-teeth monstrous, and she owns every second of it. It's so refreshing to see a FMC like her centered and worshipped.
The spice is high and very feral, possessive, and obsessed. The plot kept me hooked for all 401 pages - I read it in one sitting.
My only reason for 4.5 instead of 5 is Spiral. He stressed me out the entire book, which is exactly his purpose, but I wanted a bit more closure with his arc.
If you love dark, bloody, filthy, and weird monster romance, Frankenstein retellings, evil clown horror, and feral why-choose dynamics, you need to read this.
Kenzo Ash delivered. This circus may be from hell, but this book is fantastic.
I went into Circus From Hell by Kenzo Ash expecting a fun dive into a novel setting, and I walked out completely obsessed. As someone who was totally new to the monster romance subgenre, this was my very first time reading monster smut and let me tell you, it set the bar impossibly high!
I’ve always had a soft spot for circus vibe books there's just something inherently captivating, mysterious, and slightly unhinged about a traveling show under the big top. But Kenzo Ash takes that atmosphere and turns it up to eleven. The worldbuilding is so rich, dark, and immersive that you instantly feel pulled into the tent alongside the characters.
At the center of it all is Karma, who is an absolute, non negotiable badass. She’s surrounded by four perfection level men who make up her reverse harem/why choose lineup. The group chemistry between them is top tier it's equal parts hilarious, tense, and dangerously passionate.
The Perfect Gateway Monster Smut: If you're hesitant about stepping into monster romance, this is the book to start with. The character development is fantastic, making the unconventional love interests feel fully realized rather than just surface level tropes.
Plot Meets High Heat: One of the best surprises was that it isn't just pure spice there is a genuine, action packed plot driving the story forward from page one.
Taboo & Unapologetic Spice: Make sure to check the "menu of trigger warnings," because this book holds nothing back! The spicy scenes are adventurous, wild, deeply passionate, and push all the right boundaries.
Coming home to the circus theme with this book was the best decision I've made all year. Circus From Hell blends dark fantasy, humor, explosive chemistry, and top tier spice into a story you will devour in one sitting. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!
I have read this book from the very start as an Alpha then to Beta and now the ARC, seeing the process of this book has been phenomenal. Firstly the trigger menu oooof devoured that like it was breakfast. Secondly this book isn’t suited to everyone so please read the triggers and blurb before reading, there are some heavy scene! If you love all things clowns, monsters, piercings, peens (many many peens), multiple boyfriends who are also boyfriends two in which are step brothers👀👀 then this book is for you! Let’s be real if you had the choice of 1 or 4 you’re going to be choosing 4….. Don’t get me started on the smut my lord give me mercy, they way these are written had me feeling like I was fully watching it and within writing styles that’s something I heavily love. The chemistry between the characters was written in a way that has you feeling all sorts of emotions for each of them, where you think you’ll end up hating certain characters does a complete change throughout, in some cases where you’re actually questioning yourself. The way this book has me gagging for more is no joke, Karma as many will come to know is me all over, by far MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE FMC and always will be, one thing I struggle with within this genre of books is finding the FMC annoying…. Well nope not with Karma she has you excited, on edge 👀, kicking, screaming and giggling all the way through! The ending has me on the edge of my seat because you just know there’s about to be an erupt of chaos for book 2!!
Spice level 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Overall book ⭐️♾️ (infinity)
I was pulled into the story pretty much straight away, and I really liked all the different characters and creatures.
The whole circus setting was definitely something different, and I was curious to see where the story was going to take me.
Karma was probably one of the characters that stood out to me the most. She gave me major Sally Stitches vibes, especially with her leg constantly coming off and needing to be sewn back on. I also really liked seeing her explore her sexuality and figure herself out along the way.
And then there’s the whole thing with her feeding. When she doesn’t eat enough or doesn’t get to feed in time, she basically just snaps. She loses control completely and afterwards doesn’t even remember what she did. I thought that was actually really interesting for her character.
It also gave me a little reminder that you can’t always change someone into what you think they should be. Sometimes you just have to accept people for who they are and learn how to deal with them.
The story itself was really good, and the spice was definitely good too but I have to be honest, after a while I felt like there was more spice than actual story. At some point it felt like we were just going from one spicy scenario to the next, and I found myself thinking: okay, but what about the plot?
Still, I really enjoyed this one. The characters, the creatures and the whole fucked-up circus world made it a really interesting read. Definitely something different, and I was never bored.
This is definitely a WTF am I reading type of book, and just when you think you can't possibly ask WTF am I reading anymore... You do. Again and again.
All the FMC Karma knows is 2 things in her undead life, obedience towards her maker and hunger... For flesh that's fresh enough to scream. That is until one fateful performance when she spots the shiny Arlo in the audience and slowly, she begins to understand lust... But Arlo isn't alone. He has a step brother too, and there is an obsessed clown, that despite what he says, may want more than just to kill her. Not to mention, there's something blue and tentacle-y that believes Karma may just be made for him... 4 MMCs, 5 peens, and 1 undead FMC. This is ALOT, and all of it good. Buckle up, you're in for a hell of a ride.
Based in a travelling circus, this has Frankenstein vibes, with an FMC that has been pieced together and brought to life. It is dark, the FMC is literally a cannibal, but you also can't take it too seriously either. Despite the FMC being unable feel any pain, she is VERY capable of feeling pleasure. Lucky her. Also, just putting it out there, they really should bathe more often, or... At all really... Although this book does have a dash of cuteness, mainly it is just smut, layered with smut, with a side of more smut. I really should applaud the author for her varied imagination. It really was impressive.
I have never read anything like this before and babyyyyy I am so glad because this book was absolutely insane in the best possible way. This is the perfect read for spooky season. It will have you questioning life choices and feeling tingles haha. I stepped outside my comfort zone with this book because one it has clowns and I don't deal with clowns and two Karma our FMC is a cannibal. My innocent heart was like nope but I was still intrigued because I love a good breeding trope haha. And yes I am innocent but my mind is filthy and this book was filth but with plot! This book had everything and some darkness to it.
Arlo and Micha are step brothers who love each other and are in hiding.....to a point because Micha unalived a few people. Arlo always loved the circus and when he sees Karma he is smitten. Micha hates the circus especially clowns but somehow his heart softens for Karma.
Spiral is MESSED UP!! Baby had a hard life before he joined the circus and it seemed like his life was better until Karma was made. She is everything he hates but secretly loves. And he has two...members that ha puts to good use haha.
Soren is a creature who I would love to have with me haha. No one knows what he is but he doesn't let that stop him from anything.
This book has death, blood and a lot of......milky things. I really liked this book and all of the twisted things about it lol.
I was given the opportunity to read this early by Kenzo Ash and Omg I was hooked. This was my first Kenzo Ash book and she has a way with the dark and twisted!! How she put the circus and Frankenstein together is nothing short of a masterpiece. The two belong together especially with the freaky side of cannibalism and more than one mmc. Each character was thought out so well. Karma was put together like Frankenstein but to “her boyss” she was every bit as beautiful as a model. Arlo was every bit the golden retriever sweet boy that loved her at first sight. Micha was the serious one that was skeptical of Karma but secretly wanted her too. Soren, hot Daddy, was the alien with the massive ummm never mind lol, that wanted to protect the whole group and that’s why he’s called Daddy!! And Spiral was the crazy guy that wanted to get rid of Karma because he was secretly in love with her and wanted to do things with his two big thingys. Circus From Hell was full of spice that involved all of the characters, a few times all at once!!!! There are a lot of things that could definitely be triggers and not for some readers but I ate it up. The book has a HEA but also kinda a cliffhanger for another book next year!! Circus from Hell was an amazing read and I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy.
Circus From Hell by Kenzo Ash completely blew me away, and it’s safe to say I am officially hooked—everything else on their backlist is going straight to my TBR.
Karma is our undead, flesh-craving ragdoll FMC, kept under lock and key by the circus Ringmaster. When he leaves town for a week and puts her clown nemesis, Spiral, in charge, chaos ignites. Enter Arlo and Micah—two human stepbrothers obsessed with finding her—and Soren, a lethal aquatic experiment. Together, these four wildly possessive, unhinged monsters and men give Karma a crash course in human sensation, pleasure, and obsession. It’s fast-paced, downright depraved, and kept me on edge right up until the final page.
Read this if you love 🤹🏻♂️Undead / monster FMC 🤡 Why-choose romance (4 obsessed, protective MMCs) 🎪Enemies-to-lovers & hate-to-love tension 🎠Tentacles, piercings, and extreme monster anatomy 🃏Blood, gore, and deliciously feral spice 🎡"Touch her and unalive" energy
⚠️ Check the CWs: This is pitch-black monster romance with heavy gore, trauma, violence, and zero civilized behavior. Protect your peace before diving in!
If you want a dark, twisted ride that leaves you frothing for book two, go pick this up immediately. Have you read Kenzo Ash yet, or is this hitting your TBR?
When I first saw the sign up sheet for this book, I immediately ran to get a spot. A dark why choose featuring stepbrothers, tentacles, and cannibalism? Sign me right up! This book absolutely knocked it out of the park. Beyond the heavy, incredible spice, the plot genuinely keeps you hooked and hungry to learn more about the characters. Each of these men has a traumatic backstory that makes you feel deeply for them, giving the whole narrative a surprising amount of depth. I also loved how distinctly each personality was crafted, every single character brings something completely unique and vital to the table. I’ve truly never read anything quite like this before, and I devoured every single page. Our main cast is an absolute masterpiece of chaotic, beautiful dynamics. You have Karma, our incredible cannibal undead FMC; Arlo, our sweet, caring, tatted up human; Micha, the dominant, sadistic muscle; Soren, our dominant tentacle dick having daddy; and Spiral, the crazy psycho puppy clown. Somehow, against all odds, they all work together seamlessly. The character chemistry is off the charts, and the storyline leaves you completely thoroughly impressed. I cannot wait for book two in the series to see where this wild story takes us next!
If you're looking for a dark, twisted monster romance filled with obsession, blood, chaos, and a heroine who is anything but human… you NEED to step inside the circus!! 🔥
Karma was created by the Ringmaster, brought to life as something beautiful, deadly, and utterly unnatural. She has an insatiable hunger for human flesh—and trust me, you do not want to become her next meal. 🩸
Then there's Arlo.
Something about him pulls Karma in. She can't stop thinking about him, can't quite figure out why she wants him so badly… and apparently Micha has managed to catch her attention too. 👀 Before long, Karma has four obsessed men falling at her feet, willingly stepping closer to the monster everyone else is terrified of.
What starts as hatred slowly twists into obsession, and I am OBSESSED with watching Karma have these boys completely wrapped around her finger.
Karma is a badass, acrobatic, cannibalistic dead girl who was never meant to fall in love—or let anyone get close enough to change her.
Yet somehow, four boys manage to do exactly that.
This isn't your sweet little circus romance.
It's blood-soaked obsession. It's hatred turning into hunger. It's monsters falling for something even more monstrous than they are.
This was my first read by Kenzo Ash… And let me tell you: It won’t be my last. I just love the way she writes.
And the story? Wow. I loved it from the first page to the last. I’m obsessed. I love how twisted it is, that the characters have ”flaws”, but are loved either way. And who doesn’t want to be loved even when you’re not perfect?
We have Karma. She workes at the Circus. She’s a stitched up creation by Kreo. And let’s just say, we love Karma. Her friend? A rat with chicken legs named Snake. What does Karma and Snake have in common? Both have snake tounges, and both were made by Kreo.
Then we have Spiral. He lives with a lot of pain. And we basically both love and hate him. Let’s just say that Kreo have worked on spiral too. And he have a surprise for you.
We also have Arlo and Micha. The stepbrothers. Arlo is this sweet, shy guy that loves pain. And Micha? He’s the strong, protective guy that does everything for those he cares for.
And last but not least. Soren. The blue giant. The one who never got to feel wanted before Karma. And down there? A pretty big surprise. 👌
To be honest? I never wanted to put the book down. I enjoyed it from the first word to the last, but do read the triggers, because this is dark, twisted, and perfect. And that ending? Wow.
Holy shit. Words to describe CFH would be: unhinged, fucked, why am I into this?, hear me out, ok but like it rips her, she could drown in it, etc. Why did I like this so much? You know what, that’s my therapist’s problem. The story is raunchy, spicy, eerie, yet…heartwarming? Kenzo has you whiplashed between so many opposite feelings. Am…I ok?
Karma is a reanimated Frankenstein experiment forced to be a circus showgirl. Snake tongue, neon bright light eyes, dead skin, claws…nonetheless she is THE showgirl. She feels hunger for human flesh - yup. So she hunts after shows to feed her hunger. One night she sees Micah and Arlo in the audience. These two are stepbros who have their own trauma to work thru but baby Arlo is entranced by Karma. What kicks off is a lot of firsts for karma and our contortionist cannibal zombie girl becomes a nympho - yup. It starts off as MF then MMF with the stepbros then the evil ringleader/mad scientist leaves for a trip, leaves a sadistic double dicked hypnotist clown with severe head pains in charge and we meet the mer/octo/tentacle as a third leg/can drown you caged experiment and the story whew the story gets even better. MMMMF baby. This book is literally “monsters be fucking in this book”. I’m not even exaggerating when I say I enjoyed the fuck of this book.
The story ends in a plot twist that had me swiping “eh is that it?!” I need more! If you love monsters, horror, gore, and fucking in a circus environment, this is for you. Oh and my MVP is Snake baby, we must protect baby Snake at all costs! 🐭🐍🐓

This book is a dark, why choose romance with plenty of trigger warnings. Please read the trigger warning before reading this book!
I loved this book so much! It was my first Kenzo Ash book and I was hooked from the start, I didn’t want to put it down until I was finished. I can’t wait for book two! The book had twists and turns and is not like anything I’ve read before. This was my first monster romance and it didn’t disappoint! I loved the circus story line and the idea of the FMC being created and made out of different creatures, however, I did find that at times the story felt a little rushed and I would have preferred a slower progression. That being said I still enjoyed every second of it and will definitely re-read it in the future. The smut was amazing and like nothing I’ve read before, and there was so much of it! At times it did get a bit repetitive but not enough to ruin the flow of the book or make me want to score it any lower!
I do have to admit though, that although there is an extensive trigger warning list and I loved the book, I did expect it to be darker and a bit more gruesome. This may just be a me issue though!
Well, who knew… I’m officially in my monster romance era, and I am not looking back.
I picked up this monster romance thinking I knew what to expect… I was WRONG. 💀🔥
Karma is an undead, cannibalistic Frankenstein like creation who just wants to hunt and survive the circus where everyone hates her. Enter Arlo, Micha, Soren, and Spiral.
The dynamics between Karma and her boys are unmatched
Arlo, Obsessed with her from a literal poster (I love a dedicated man).
Micha, Arlo’s stepbrother, bringing an intriguing history between them.
Soren, A mysterious blue creature (not a fish) featuring a tentacle….
Spiral, The resident evil clown who claims to hate her, complete with two 🍆.
What I loved was that beneath the incredible spice and wild monster anatomy, there is a genuinely addictive plot. Watching Karma’s world expand from just circus life and hunting to discovering entirely new feelings with this chaotic group kept me hooked from page one
That epilogue though!! I’m definitely ready for it. If you love dark romance, reverse harem, and monster smut, check the trigger warnings and dive in.
ARC Review for Circus From Hell by Kenzo Ash releasing September 30th! Available for preorder!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Circus From Hell gives an entirely new meaning to the " Come one, Come all" catchphrase I remember all too well growing up.
This particular circus has an array of performers (none of which are human but have some abilities that make you stop reading and attempt to play out the scene in your head , sometimes trying to act it out trying to figure out what the heck?!?)
Karma is my favorite cannibalism heroine ever and Kreos was my least and I am so thankful there wasn't many on page interactions with him. Arlos hugs were the sweetest ever ❤️
The character set-up and development was absolute perfection. The plot had so much substance I was pleasantly suprised.
If you are looking for a defiant Monster romance that has depth, characters to fall for and loaded with spice this one is for you!
Please check trigger warnings ❤️
Thank you Kenzo for giving me the privilege of reading this early and these are my honest opinions.
And please give me more!!! That was EPIC! I haven’t read such an enthralling book in quite a while! I literally could not put it down. I tried…but couldn’t! I needed to go to bed so I stopped reading, put my kindle down and tried to go to sleep. But I just laid there, thinking about the book until I finally just gave up and finished reading! So this was my first Kenzo Ash book, but it DEFINITELY will not be my last! I am a forever fan now!!
Karma was EVERYTHING!!! She was so freaking BA!!! I loved watching her grow throughout the book and develop her personality! Arlo and Micah were amazing! I loved their dynamic as well as how they fit into the harem! Soren definitely gave daddy vibes!! As well as having terrifying “equipment”!!! Spiral was harder to love at first, but he also developed throughout the book and ended up being a perfect addition to Karma’s harem!!
I cannot wait to read Chaos’s book! I’m very interested to see how it plays out with someone so deadly they had to be boxed up for so long!
I just finished Circus from Hell by Kenzo Ash, and let me tell you… this book is SPICY AF! I was literally holding my breath the entire time because homegirl was like NO BREAKS. NO MERCY. SHE WANTS THEM ALL.
And Karma?! KARMA, KARMA, KARMA! That girl is an absolute BADDIE. The way Kenzo created her? PERFECTION. She is easily becoming one of my favorite unhinged FMCs.
And the male characters… HELLO?! I AM FRICKIN’ OBSESSED. I definitely love Soren and Spiral (teehee) I cannot with them the whole banter just felt like family including Micha and Arlo and I loved it when all four of them are in the same room and you just have Karma in the middle of everything being Karma!
I cannot wait for you all to read this because I am SO hooked! If you love a wild, spicy read with an FMC who knows exactly what she wants, you NEED to add this one to your TBR. Read responsibly and check TWs.
Kenzo Ash, you really did your thing with this one!
