Giving this one 3. A short and sweet pallet cleanser that just barely scratches the surface. Robyn is a bartender with a nasty ex and an attraction to her customer Cristiano, enforcer for the Bellanti family mafia. Cris has been in love with Robyn since he first laid eyes on her.

This is an insta-everything novella. Robyn’s ex and his uncle cause some drama. There is very mild kidnapping lol. There are a few spicy scenes. A very sweet HEA and epilogue. A lot of insta-love declarations. You can read in an hour or two, and it’ll leave you feeling like you’ve had a couple handfuls of potato chips: sort of scratches that itch for something salty, but leaves you feeling unsatisfied and still hungry 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve read a lot of novellas and it’s entirely possible to make them have depth and complexity even with a short page count. This one just didn’t quite hit. It was alright, I liked all the characters, but there’s just not enough meat to sink your teeth into. Everything is told in broad brush strokes.

Also, the writing style is not my favorite, lots of short direct sentences, some even incomplete, that gives a very clinical and often detached feel. The dialogue was thankfully more natural, but overall it’s not my favorite style or structure.

From the very beginning, I was drawn into Cristiano and Robyn's story. Cristiano Bellanti, a member of a powerful mafia family, meets Robyn by chance at her workplace, and what starts as a simple encounter gradually develops into something much more. Their connection felt natural, and I found myself invested in seeing how their relationship would unfold.

One of my favourite aspects of the book was how seamlessly the age gap romance was incorporated into the story. It never felt forced or overly dramatic, and I loved watching the dynamic between the two characters develop. Cristiano's protective nature added another layer to his character, and while he could be intense at times, his devotion to Robyn was one of the things that kept me rooting for them.

This was the kind of book that completely pulled me in from start to finish. The story kept me hooked, and I ended up reading it in a single sitting because I always wanted to know what would happen next. Between the romance, the tension, and the characters themselves, I found myself fully captivated and thoroughly enjoying the journey.

I ate this book up so fast! It was a short, fast read and I complete devoured it!!
I loved Christiano and Robyn's story! And Fuzzball!! 🐶

Robyn was the sweetest and kindest FMC and Christiano is OTT protective! The perfect match in this story. And the chemistry between them was so hot!

The writing, spice and plot was phenomenal and it was so easy to get into this book. It jumps right into the story from page one and kept me hooked to the very last page where the MCs get their HEA.

A perfect book for those who doesn't want a book that is too dark but still in the Mafia world.

Christiano has been watching Robyn for four months while she has been working as a bartender in La Scala. Pretending he was there for work when in reality he just couldn't keep his eyes off her.
Robyn has had some trouble with her ex and his family and as the perfect MMCs Christiano is he saves her and make them pay.

A quick, steamy novella where Cristiano Bellanti, the enforcer of the family, falls for Robyn, the bartender at the upscale restaurant La Scala. The moment he sees her, he knows she is his but keeps his distance until he can't. He'll make sure she is safe, that no one touches or harms her again. But when Robyn is threatened, he'll make sure that no one will walk away from harming the woman he loves. But does she feel the same way?

Robyn has always relied on herself. So when Cristiano comes to her aid, the one person she has been secretly attracted to, she can't believe it. Why would he want someone like her? But Cristiano soon shows her the depth of his love for her, and how he would give her the world if she asked him to.

Christiano knew from the moment he saw her that she was going to be his. Robyn was too young and too good for him, but that didn’t matter. He was obsessed and would protect her at all costs.
This is part of the Mafia Kings of Manhattan series, but it can be read as a standalone. Mafia King’s obsession is a fun, romantic, quick read. The mafia stereotype is there, but it is mixed with the ultimate book boyfriend that will do anything for you. Combine that with a HEA, and you have a perfect summer read! I really enjoyed Robyn and Christiano’s love story. This was the first I read by Mia Glass, but it will not be the last.

It’s such a cute quick read. Robyn is down on her luck and working at a fancy restaurant/bar where she meets Christiano. He ends up watching her for 4 months until her abusive ex comes into the picture and he proves to her he is everything she will want.
I really enjoyed it. It was a nice instalove without the “I’m so obsessed with you and will die if you leave me” within 10 pages. A little confused cause there’s backstory on a different character like there’s a previous book without it. Fuzzball is my favorite character not going to lie.

It says book one of Mafia Kings of Manhattan but actually Mafia King's Possession is. I read this thinking it was book one and realized I was missing the beginning. This one if Christiano and Robyn's story. Robyn is the bartender at the restaurant that was being used by a rival faction. Apparently, all of the brothers fall for women who work there and seem to be behind on their rent. It's mafia lite and more relationship. The men are protective and the women don't run. It's a great brain break. This one included the best character in a while - Fuzzball. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is part of the Mafia Kings of Manhattan but can be read as a standalone. Cristiano is the enforcer for the Bellanti Mafia family and he fell in love with Robyn the first time he saw her at his bar. He becomes her protector protecting her from a stalking ex and his evil uncle. Some mafia danger, hits and drama. She was his obsession and he gave a beautiful, safe life. Age-gap romance and a sweet HEA with some surprises and an ending you'll like. I read a free arc via the author and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Christiano Bellanti fits the delicious stereotype of a mafia Don: piercing gaze, expensive suits, brooding, starker-ish.
Their story is well-told in this short and fun romance, with all the delicious details and turns we love; plus amazing side characters that left me salivating to read more about them!

This book is Mafia and I love this genre, age gap is also a favorite of mine so double win for me! I have to say that I really love short little novellas as they are straight to the point and fast paced and in that aspect this story did not disappoint. I loved Cristiano and Robyn together and the fact that Cristiano claimed Robyn as his right away was an added bonus. I feel like Cristiano was exactly the right amount of possessive, perfectly hardcore when needed and gentle at just the right times. I can’t wait to read the next one!

Robyn is twenty one and a bartender at LaScala. It is there she meets Cristiano Bellanti, enforcer for the Bellanti mafi. Cristiano is fifteen years older than Robyn but he does not see that as an issue. When Robyn's ex comes calling Cristiano deals with him quickly and efficiently.

Mia Glass does a good job of telling her story in this shorter length book. It is an enjoyable story and will keep you reading.

He's seen the bruises on Robyn but when her ex-boyfriend found her and threatened her, he'll do anything for the woman who has captured his heart without knowing.

This is a Mafia Romantic Suspense, and this is the first book in the Mafia Kings of Manhattan series. I just did not care about any of the characters, and I did not think the two main characters really had a connection. Maybe if this book was longer and had more to it the connection about the main characters would be felt more. The steamy parts of this book I also did not like. I just think this book needed more of the story to make the story really come to life. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

Good story

Castina has been watching Robin work for four weeks noticing the bruises on her wrists and cheeks. He vows no one will hurt her again.. He takes up for her when her x husband shows up threatening her. Then he takes her home with him telling her she never has to work again but then her x and his uncle show up and take her. A great story love the brothers and the women they pick for themselves!

This is a quick read. It is very much a story of a mafia man with "Mine" energy all over it. He sees her and wants her. She has a terrible ex and his creepy uncle. Robyn is a bit naive but she does come out of everything with a man who would burn it all down for her. If you want a quick mafia instalove story this could be for you.

This book was short, sweet, and spicy! It was just a light mafia love story and I enjoyed very much. The MMC is crazy about her from the start and it just evolves from there, a few obstacles along the way but there’s an HEA and and epilogue that’s just perfection! Enjoy.

Ok, this is a novella that didn’t feel like a novella! I was interested in the characters, they were developed well, and the story was well paced.

There are other books in this series for each of the brothers and their girls… I will be checking them out because this was written well enough to capture my interest
