What a series, what is actually in this series that samantha has put in, because it's more than just words and Tobias. This is seriously a bingeable and addictive series and i can't wait for book 4
I actually finished this book on live with some of the street team and Samantha and they all fully seen my stare into the abyss for a good 15 minutes.
I knew going into this it was going to pull on my emotions but the limit does not exist.
Similar to the first too there is hilarious moments, further tangents added to the plot and questioning of trust. But the characters are even richer in their personalities, they have more layers, new reasons to love them, and even some of them I grew sympathy for and even built some forgiveness.
There is yearning, twists, scenes to make you rage and the ending is 👁️👄👁️
Samantha is such a brilliant and addictive writer pushing you forward with the story and you need to know what happens next.
I loooooove the twists, and some of them made me want to chuck my kindle out of the window but overall I just loved this book so much 🥲🥹
I knew there would be a cliff hanger, I did, and I almost felt like it was going to be one filled with hope… until the very last line. Like most people reviewing, I’m screaming WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!! 😂
I loved Severance! There was more world building. There was more and new relationship development … and I’m excited to see where one in particular goes 🤭. There was spice, and for where we are in Ava’s story, I think it was the perfect balance… honestly, I still think about the spice from book one!
The note from Tobias to Maddox genuinely made me cry - Ava’s family really did become his, too. After the ending, I’m really worried for Tobias and what this will do to him.
Elaine… I’m expecting big things for Elaine in book 4, I don’t know what, but I just feel she has so much more to her that we have seen so far.
I could go on, but I really don’t want to spoil it.
Needless to say, roll on book 4!!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Right I have sat down to write this 9 times already 10th time the charm?
The reason I have struggled to write this is because I have so much to say but I don’t want to write down any spoilers!! I created a huge list of things when I was reading which I ended with me in capital letters messaging Samantha asking her WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!
This book has my far been my favourite so how many stars can I actually give it because I’ve rated them all 5+ 😲
Severance ends on another cliff hanger true to Samantha form…. I will be sat staring at a wall until book 4 comes because I need it now
This book pulled at my heartstrings in every direction. It beautifully explores the complexity of relationships and how deeply trauma can weave its way into even the strongest bonds. At its core, it’s a powerful reminder that love knows no bounds. The development of the father daughter relationship is especially moving tender, raw, and incredibly well written. I definitely needed tissues for this one.
Let me say I liked this but not as much as the other two books, I know it’s all leading to what happens next I just think I wasn’t as good. The heartbreak was no way near heartbreaky enough for me but I liked the end just I want to know what happens next. Can’t wait for the next instalment as I think as a series it’s going to be good.
Really enjoed the third book. I learnt so much more about all of the characters and really enjoyed finding out more about each of them. The ending was unexpected and i cannot wait for book 4!!
