An introduction to Election Day for the youngest readers. This fact-filled Rookie Read-About Holiday book introduces the youngest readers (Ages 3-6) to Election Day. Colorful photos and very simple nonfiction text encourage children to read on their own as they take an in-depth look at the importance of voting, different methods of voting, and how voting helps us take part in our government.
I think I learned a lot from this book. This is my first time hearing about election day. I learned that the election day is on the first Tuesday of November and it can't be the November 1st. I find it interesting that you can choose to vote on a paper ballot or a machine. If someone wants to read about election day, you can choose this book.
I like this book because it's about how people vote for presidents. I kind of did not like because women could not vote a long time ago. I recommend this book because women can vote now.
