A beautiful book with very good quality pictures of architect Frank Lloyd Wright work. The exterior design of these houses, even today, are beautiful and modern. He was a man out of his time.
This is a very good book in order to obtain an overview of the overwhelming number of unique homes designed by Frank (100). Most of them are in chronological order in just two pages each. It would seem like a good idea to glance through the excellent photos within the book first and then go back leisurely and study how the elements of design continue or change through time. The book also covers some of his commercial & civic work.
When your young and poor, a book like this is nearly equivalent to the walls of a museum. Gorgeous photography, aspects of Wright's philosophy pointed out in the preface to each set of pictures. I enjoy leafing through it to this day.
