This is one of the webcomics that I've read so far that really moved me to tears because of how all the stories are quite poignant. Several of the stories are about friendship and love for family that I'm sure will touch the readers. Some of these will also make them ponder on how they treat their family and friends. A great read that will make you think about the value of life and on how we spent it.
The Korean version is the best version to read as it explains a lot for each story. The translated version to English didn't change my level of enjoyment. A 4.5 rating for me as some parts were a bit confusing in the English version but people who read the Korean version were happy to explain the meanings for each chapter. I love how each chapter is so deep and unexpectedly wise with lessons to learn about life and death.
The webtoon comes with the soundtrack which was soo on point and compliments the plot so well. Each chapter is short but meaningful, inspiring and full of life lessons. Taught in a witty way.
Although it's short and simple, but the message it sends, is so powerful.....
Most people including myself thinks death is far in the future, but that's a lie we tell ourselves. It can happen to anyone, at anytime, and at anywhere. Funny thing is, it doesn't also need a reason. Death can just occur, hence we shouldn't take our lives and the lives of those around us for granted. Whatever you have to do, just get it done. I think we just have to constantly and consciously remind ourselves.
Headphones only.
You just wait for it.
A wonderful comic with very beautiful and emotional storyline! ❤🤌 And the apt background music in it when you scroll down each panel makes it even more heart touching...
It's a collection of tiny stories in episodes, basically revolving around the main theme - Death and Afterlife! Each story teaches us something, Makes us ponder over many things... Everything about this story is truly inspiring, amazing....
This was a long hard slog but well worth it. It's also officially the first entire book I've read in Korean, so there's that.
The graphic novel(English translation of the title: Regarding Death) is a series of vignettes in which people from all walks of life find themselves dead or near death, having a chat with God(or a god?) in a black and white, pale limbo. Some people get a second chance and we get a few full color pages of the next chapter of their lives. Others wander off on a different eternal path.
Witty and by turns grim and inspiring, the novel has simple, heavily lined art and reasonably accessible story lines. I hear an English translation is forthcoming, and if you spot it, grab it.
This was a mere chance I took while being still new to webtoons - I couldn't have imagined webtoon had something such subtle yet mature content to offer - so tightly gripped narration yet you couldn't do but summon to that bittersweet yet a strangely warm feeling. I just couldn't be more grateful to my instinct for starting this. This webtoon presents a philosophical side to death from the discussion between god and a dead or near to dead individual - which is though so much existent all around us yet so distant that we choose to rather ignore it and this just works so well to thrash the reality into reader's face such that death is not that devil anymore rather seems like a delicate flower full of hope which should not be taken granted.
About Death is amazing: it is poignant, honest, and extremely relatable. Each chapter allows me to live through a character's perspectives in life and in between living and death. This is the webtoon I always revisit during tough times as it never fails to remind me of the transience of life and circumstances, as well as what would matter the most at the end of the day when we all die.
There are many stories that seek to be profound, but only end of repeating quotes and storylines that I've already seen before.
Not this one.
Every chapter left me shocked and every chapter hit me like a brick. The writing and pacing is genius, but also realistic. This is one of the stories that genuinely will make you a better person.
OMG.... This was the most incredible thing I had ever read. The stories are absolutely fantastic and they are so beautiful and so sad at the same time. This is the most awesome and deep manga I’ve ever read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great little webcomic. The English translation is a little rough, but the commenters on the hosting site explained anything left out from the original Korean.
