Must Read!! ❤️
I went into this book blind because this is my first read from this author but my goodness! Don’t sleep on this author and her pen! Top tier!!
From the first encounter with Streetz and Beauty I knew that I was on the verge of reading something special. Streetz has all of the qualities you would want in a book bae with his L.A. suave. He commands the room and lives up to his persona as the Neighborhood Hero. I’m pretty sure he’ll give your favorite book bae a run for his money. He takes care of the ones he loves but he’ll also take care of the ones who cross him. This isn’t that unhinged foolishness that’ll have you rolling your eyes at its absurdity. Streetz is Optimus Prime.
Our FMC, Beauty has been through a lot, so you’ll have to show her some grace. She’s been spoiled her entire life by her family, so she’s a runner she’s a track star 🎵 She didn’t run to the streets, the Streetz chose her 😂 You’ll root for her to claim her life back after devastating trauma and embrace the love God has given her and she won’t let you down!
The supporting characters all deserve spinoffs, so kudos to the author because all of them deserve to have their stories told. Don’t place this book on your TBR, just read it now!

Great Read
If you're looking for real love struggles, family issues this is the book for you. I felt so many emotions ,this is my first read from the author and I really enjoyed it.

LaTaina and Carmelo 💛 Bless their hearts finally getting it together but that dang on Melo almost went on a Tshirt with his peoples..
Taina wasn’t as difficult as I thought she would be most her actions were understandable. You come from a powerful family but end in the wrong hands of love. Trying to keep everything perfect but drowning. Only solution is to run away.
Loved her redefining herself, finding her strength in the way she found safe and tolerant for her.
Melo was a strong one for sure but he needs some therapy right along w her ass. Melo really about the action for sure but whew he needed more grace for everyone including himself. That struggle of trying to be everything for everyone including himself. Yea, his struggles hit different.
Omg Rah broke my heart. Why would you do that? 😢😢
The family dynamics from both sides whew, a test for time.
Gritty, emotional, redemption, love and family. Definitely a tear jerker and the songs 🥺
Overall loved this book and the author. Can’t wait for another one.

new to me author got me !!
First I want to say congratulations on writing such a heartfelt story 👏🏽👏🏽 This story touches on so much . So it’s best to make sure your emotions are together before you dive in ! I will never do a review where I tell the story . But I can say this author write such a Real story . When thinking about the time frame of the story the back in forth though stressful makes sense . These characters go through some crazy heartbreaking situations and still in the end keep fighting for each other . This story shows through trauma you really have to fight to heal and be better . This story also shows that sometimes loving someone and wanting the best for them when they don’t can’t seriously hurt you . This story also really shows when someone is really your person no amount of pulling away will keep you from them !!! How these characters fight through life, betrayal, heartbreak, and loss is beautiful!!! In the end they are stronger !!! 5 star 🌟 read ! And now I have to see what I have to make sure I Do not miss anymore from this author ✍️

Gave it a two only because I actually finished it. The FMC was annoying, the mmc was unworthy. The end.
As far as constructive criticism, there were parts of the story that didn’t align. She had already revealed what happened in her previous relationship at that pool party… then it wasn’t mentioned again until later. She was so afraid of what her brothers would do and they didn’t even do anything.
Also she had an anxiety attack and said “what was that”, as if she’d never had one before, then told her therapist “I’m still having anxiety attacks”. Then the mmc jumped in like he knew what to do, but they had only just met so there’s no way he has ever witnessed her having one before. Also their first kiss made no sense either. First kisses in romance books are supposed to have build up and be a big deal, that was just thrown in there like they had been kissing their whole life lol
The writing wasn’t terrible (I’ve seen way worse, trust me).

Great Read
She’s a runner, she’s a track star! LaTaina aka Beauty went through heck with Poobie but hid it well from her family but once she broke free and move away to Cali and met her Beast she kept running and it got on my nerves bad! Ughh lol It’s so much I wanna say but I’ll give the book away so y’all please grab this book and read, you will not be disappointed

emotional Damage
This was my first book by this author and I was unprepared for her to take me through ALL of the emotions!! beautiful piece that spoke of love heart ache and resilience. She took really heavy things and executed it flawlessly. Once I’m emotionally stable I’m going to dive into more of her work

This was an emotional read, very heavy topics were addressed. This is my first book by the author and it’s definitely five stars. Things did not turn out the way I thought they would. I cries all the tears.

Bawling
This book was well thought out. I enjoyed the character development and storyline. I did not see the plot twist coming and it had me in tears. I would recommend reading this book because it takes you on a journey of real emotions and doesn’t rush to give you the HEA.
