This charming small-town romance is an absolute delight from the very first page. My Rookie Firefighter delivers a heartfelt mix of danger, determination, and swoon-worthy chemistry, with Lana Bloom creating a story that feels both cozy and exciting. Aaron’s bravery and Mira’s fierce independence make them instantly engaging, and their connection sparks in a way that is impossible not to root for.

What makes this book especially enjoyable is the balance between the romance and the suspense. The rescue that brings Aaron and Mira together is thrilling, and the unfolding danger keeps the pages turning, while the emotional core of the story remains warm and uplifting. Even in its shorter format, the book feels complete, satisfying, and full of personality.

Bloom has a talent for making readers invest quickly in her characters, and that gift shines here. Aaron is easy to admire, Mira is wonderfully spirited, and together they create a romance that feels bright, tender, and thoroughly entertaining. The pacing is brisk without feeling rushed, making this an ideal read for anyone who wants an engaging love story they can finish in one sitting.

Overall, My Rookie Firefighter is a glowing example of a feel-good romance that combines heart, heroism, and irresistible charm. Fans of small-town stories, quick reads, and uplifting happily-ever-afters will find plenty to love here. It is a fun, satisfying, and enthusiastically recommended addition to the Ridgemont: Fire Department series.

My Rookie Firefighter is an excellent short read with the perfect combination of mystery, romance, friendship, protectiveness, and spicy connections. I loved this addition to the Ridgemont: Fire Department series. The connection between Aaron and Mira is strong from the first even though they meet under unexpected and extradentary circumstances. That connection and then being forced into each other’s company makes this dynamic couple compelling as they journey through getting to know each other better and staying safe from the surrounding danger. This story is well-written and is engaging with details that drew this reader right in to follow along with their journey and I loved it. My Rookie Firefighter is worth the read!.

Aaron, a rookie firefighter, and Mira, an investigative reporter, meet when he rescues her from her rental that is on fire. She becomes stubborn and doesn’t want to leave her laptop behind since it contains the evidence she has been gathering to write her story. How did the fire start? When she begins receiving threats, could the fire be related to the story she is writing and is her life in danger? When the threats continue, Aaron feels compel to protect her and gets involved. Will they be able to expose who is involved and the corruption that took place? Their relationship builds into an attraction they just can’t ignore. Very heart-warming story with wonderful characters. Highly recommend.

- A romance that mixes danger, suspense, and chemistry in a fast-paced and emotional story. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.

I love how Aaron is protective and caring. Mira is determined and brave as she investigates corruption connected to the fire. Their growing attraction feels natural, especially as the threats against Mira become more serious and Aaron steps in to help keep her safe.
With heartwarming moments, mystery, and a sweet romance, this was an enjoyable read with lovable characters and a satisfying ending.

This is a steamy short and suspenseful romance.
Aaron meets Mira as he rescues her from a fire at her house. One look and he feels the attaction betweem them. She is a reporter that is getting too close to a story and the fire is not accidental. His protective side will come through and quickly he will make his mission to protect and possess her.
Both characters are looking for a way to be a mark in the world, and they find the strength in each other.

A great mix of passion, action, and suspense in a small format!.
