Very beautiful book that gives a reader a glimpse of what the reality in racing is/was/who knows. No matter the book was written 50 years ago, many things didn't change. Niki Lauda gave the racing world a lot and it is interesting and it opens eyes quite a lot to read not just about his difficult way to F1 but mostly about staying there in a world where the driver is basically owned by the company, in this case Ferrari.
I just love Niki Lauda so much??? I can't even propel a cohesive sentence about this read, I enjoyed almost every second of it, only wished it would have been fully told by Niki.
Lauda was/is a perfectionist and extremely difficult to get along with; so was everyone at Ferrari. This is Lauda's side of the story-- and its a great story.
