Wow, I'm on a roll with reading some of the worst books I've ever encountered... and this one is another addition to the list.
Where do I even start?
I was in the mood for something short, light, and brainless. The first third of this story was exactly that. The second third was mostly me being annoyed with the alpha and feeling absolutely no chemistry between the alpha and the omega (sorry, I forgot their names, and after the last part I don't even care).
The alpha has no personality whatsoever beyond being a stereotypical rich CEO. Nothing. Nada. His personality simply doesn't exist. There was one moment when the omega helped with a business deal, and that actually gave me some hope.
And then that happened.
The thing that makes me want to burn this book. At around 80%, they go to a gala. Except it isn't really a gala. It's a sex exhibition where rich alphas parade their omegas around. You can find similar dynamics in BDSM stories between doms and subs. The difference is that in BDSM stories, the people involved choose that lifestyle because they enjoy it.
Here, the alpha pressures the omega into attending the event practically naked. Yes, the omega technically agrees, but under pressure. In my opinion, there is no real space for him to say no (honestly, there hasn't been since the beginning of the book.) Then the alpha has sex with the omega (in front of everyone) while the omega is eight months pregnant.
The omega can't say no. To me, that's rape. But apparently it isn't, because the omega eventually "realizes he wants it."
And then the alpha announces that they're going to have lots and lots of children because that's what he wants. Nobody cares what the omega thinks at all. Nobody asks. The omega just nods along to everything.
THIS IS NOT A ROMANCE WITH A HEA.
THIS IS EROTICA WITH A MINDBREAK.
The omega's mind has simply been broken. And the final words of the book: "I accept it. only confirmed that for me.
I'm extremely angry because nobody warned me that this book contained a mindbreak storyline. If I had known, I never would have read it.
The alpha treats the omega like property, something he owns, a vessel for producing children. As a woman, I found that deeply upsetting and genuinely disturbing to read.
Honestly, I'd rather die than live the life this omega ends up living.
Oh, and by the way, I've read the Alien Clutch series, where we know from the start that mindbreak is part of the premise. And that series had a thousand times more romance than this thing. At least there, everything made sense, and I genuinely considered it a HEA.

I was hesitant about this book at first but Jaeheon grew on me very quickly. He treated the Omega MMC with the most love and respect ever. It was adorable. I really enjoyed this.

That being said, if mpreg or omegaverse themes aren’t your thing, this story probably won’t be for you—and that’s okay! But for me? I was completely invested in Eojin’s journey. 🥺❤️
Watching Eojin learn to accept and love himself through all the physical and emotional changes—from being a beta to becoming an omega and navigating pregnancy—was genuinely beautiful. 🌙✨ His journey felt emotional, vulnerable, and empowering all at once.
What stood out to me most was the strength he carried throughout the story. Even during moments of uncertainty and change, Eojin embodied both beauty and resilience in such a heartfelt way. 🖤😭
This story ended up being so much more emotional and touching than I expected, and I really appreciated how deeply personal Eojin’s growth felt. 📖✨
That being said, if mpreg or omegaverse themes aren’t your thing, this story probably won’t be for you—and that’s okay! But for me? I was completely invested in Eojin’s journey. 🥺❤️

So I read one of MJ Kim’s books, I forget the title, college kids in a dominance battle where two alphas hook up, and wanted to read everything she’d written.
And I nearly have.
But this one rubbed me the wrong way.
Now the rating system is five stars or its trash. The writing is great.
But I wasn’t able to sink in and like the characters. They felt flat this time and the M pregnancy theme was my first. Don’t let me yuck your yum but I just couldn’t.
The scene, party, at the end was … not okay. I like the trope because I enjoy the “only you” factor. Where they protect and cherish, not show off.
So this review is for those like me. Who love the BL and Omegaverse. This one is different than the rest.

Good but some continuity errors
It was a good book, I definitely recommend. It did have some minor continuity errors. When the main character was pregnant he referenced the baby as a girl and then later it was a boy. Things like that. Super minor, really it just needs a decent editor.

I've read a bunch of mpreg omegaverse yaoi manga before, but I've never read a novel version of what is a weakness of mine before. I really enjoyed the book and how it explained all the changes to the omega's body during his pregnancy and the relationship between the two male leads. I can't wait to read more! ^_^

Good but be warned
I liked the idea, started out good. But by the end it had changed from a romance to just pure smut, and not the vanilla kind. Which is fine, if thats your thing, I was just kind of disappointed there wasnt at least an equal divide between the smut and romance.

starts good…..
It started pretty good. Then the gala is weird and comes out of nowhere. Then it skis the birth and jumps to an epilogue over a year later. Rushed ending and the weird gala ruined the book.

I wanted to see the omega switch things around like there is nothing wrong with an omega controlling his / her own fate or maybe having an alpha as the sub in the relationship
