I hadn't read this book since I was a child ... and I don't ever remember being a naughty pk like this Joy was ... but it did bring back some memories of Dad's ministry, some of the church members, and some of the funny things in church.

July 2020 re-read ... although I share the name and the PK moniker, I didn't relate very well to anything else this "Joy" did ...

Year's ago , I read this series of books when I was the same age as our youngest . She asked me if I would read this book aloud to her. We shared laughter and tears throughout , and now we're ready for the 2nd book !

A re-read of “The Vacation Mix-up” is a cute tale of two 11 year old preacher’s kids and their family. A summer spent full of attempts at vacationing resulted in a series of mishaps were humorous. A look back at the good old days.
