K.S. Krown is an American novelist whose work blends dark romance, Southern Gothic atmosphere, and psychological tension. Her stories explore love, moral ambiguity, obsession, and the fragile boundaries between desire and consequence.
Raised in Georgia, she draws heavily from the emotional landscape and traditions of the American South — old towns, long summers, inherited secrets, and the quiet weight of history — settings that frequently shape the emotional lives of her characters.
Before turning to fiction, Krown built a professional career in science and business, earning a Master of Science in Chemistry & Biochemistry and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing. She spent over fifteen years working in biotechnology and life sciences before dedicating herself to writing full time.
Her debut novel The Shop Under The Clock established her signature tone: romantic, intimate, and quietly unsettling. She continues to develop interconnected works of dark romantic fiction and gothic-influenced narratives.
She lives in the American South and writes daily.
“Some love stories are written in the dark, but hers will be told in the light.”
