This is a captivating story that pulled me in from the beginning. I stayed up really late reading as could not put it down. I could not turn the pages fast enough. Was totally invested in Harper’s life until the very last page.
Harper Jenkins has returned home to Turlock, SC after living in Chicago for ten years. Growing up she was the girl from the wrong side of the tracks, well not anymore. Going home is not easy for Harper. Her momma was in an accident and Harper has come back to help.
What she finds when walks back into Truluck, well a lot more than you would think in a small town.
Intrigue, old wounds from her childhood, secrets. Corruption, mystery, politics, small towns that are dying as the younger generation grow up and moves on.
It might make you start thinking about where you came from and what you have become.

Engaging
Fabulous writing. Intriguing storyline. Hope there's a part 2!
Only complaint is there are some errors with characters that the editor missed. If you catch it then the story is great.
