So… this definitely wasn’t what I expected and I’m still not entirely convinced it was my thing. I get why the author practically begs readers to “just roll with it,” because the premise asks for a level of suspension of disbelief that goes well beyond your standard Alpha/Omega heat scenario. Without spoiling too much, let’s just say Julian Cross has… very particular expectations when it comes to his personal assistant. The kind that makes you pause and wonder how this would work logistically in the real world. And yet Wren agrees to it all with barely a flicker of hesitation, which was almost as shocking as the requirements themselves. Still, as she holds utterly still, utterly committed, I couldn’t help but think: maybe the payoff is worth it. Because when the story leans into its erotic core, it absolutely delivers. The tension, the restraint, the sheer intensity of those moments? Deliciously indulgent. I think what threw me was the lead-up. Maybe it’s because this particular kink is new territory for me, or maybe it’s the implication that Wren isn’t the first assistant to fill this role, making her feel like just another carefully selected candidate in line—at least initially. But that perception doesn’t last. Wren proves, quite quickly, that she’s in a league of her own. Julian’s fixation on her endurance, how long she can last, how far she can be pushed, adds a slightly obsessive edge that’s hard to ignore. And yet, there’s something undeniably compelling about watching her rise to the challenge, meeting and exceeding every expectation with a quiet, almost defiant pride. What makes their dynamic especially intriguing is that it doesn’t seem to begin with desire at all. It’s clinical. Functional. Rooted in this almost absurd pursuit of peak productivity. And yet, somewhere along the way, something shifts. Almost imperceptibly at first, those cracks form and suddenly Wren isn’t just replaceable staff. She’s essential. Irreplaceable. And that’s when things get really interesting.

Despite the author's note, there is an unusual plot. A timed, sit still, don't move, and stay focused with tension and sweat plot. It's OTT and totally off the rails. Crash and burn bonkers.☄️💥🤯💥☄️ Wren is doing WHATTT?!!😳 Nooo. Girl, you can't be serious.🤣🤣 For meetings with her weirdo boss. Timed meetings with business as usual flair ... for hours?⏱️😬 Taking notes. Passing files. On the computer. On the phone. Be a statue, with noooo reactions.😰😣💦 M'kay.🤞🏻🤞🏻 Direct proximity takes on a whole other meaning in this story.😮💨😶🫨

I cracked up. Warm for Him is ridiculous, raunchy and erotic all at the same time. It is written well ((surprise!!)), the calculations of the math, the formula, the outcome all lent themselves with the story flowing and the characters developing despite their unusual working... arrangement.🙃🙃 There's an age difference. A power dynamic. But Wren met every single one of Julian's kinky expectations.🌋🔥🌋 She exceeded them. Mentally. Physically. Wren is: I can do ittttt!✊🏻 Yeah girl. You sure can.lol He watches her closely.🥵 A little obsessed.
Side note: Everyone has to know what's going on in his office, the meeting room, right? Why are we pretending it's not happening?! Is no one knocking on his door from time to time?lol Even as a dare. Just for giggles.🚪😝 Wren is likable. Julian is too, up to a point. He's such a freak.👅bahaha😂😂 Emotions happen. There's even an epilogue. The book cover is cute. This girl had some control and it made her his perfect assistant, matching his needs and surprising her own. This was a dun story, a short read with a couple that have a lot of chemistry and have a different working relationship than most.
She is to be still with him while he conducts business.
Um, the stillness is to be applauded, but I personally rather the loss of control. They find it suited to their own tastes and to each their own. I do wish for a little more backstory but this was a entertaining read. I would have been good not knowing that there were previous attempts at his finding the perfect match. A steamy good time with a HEA.

This short story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a fast-paced, contemporary office romantic erotica piece between Wren, the female personal assistant lead, and her very specifically demanding male boss, Julian. I enjoyed Julian’s certainty and specificity around his desires and expectations. I enjoyed Wren’s enjoyment of exceeding expectations. I enjoyed the erotic tension and the spice, with mutual kink enthusiasm. I enjoyed the relationship progression that the characters found both surprising and almost automatic. I enjoyed the ending.

The characters were very appealing and likeable and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Well, this a new kink. I am here for it. I’ve never heard of warming and at first I wasn’t sure at first. I really couldn’t believe what I was reading. Pardon the pun, I warmed to it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it really was a weird turn on. Who knew. Definitely recommend, don’t be put off, give it a go it you won’t be disappointed.

I hope you like it too - when the author gave me the clue of "this is not a realistic premise or realistic series, just roll with it", I wondered what the next 60 pages would bring.
Her books usually are plot oriented, this one is not one of them - which is great too!
Julian needs an executive assistant with very special requirements and Wren soon finds out what it is.

He needed someone for a particular position, one that could not be openly advertised. She needed a new job, never imagining the positions in which she would be placed. A steamy tale reminiscent of "Daddy's Rules (Yes, Daddy #4)". An age gap, boss / employee shorty that will make the reader warm. The author needs to do a better job maintaining consistency with the details but it's a good read for what it offers.

This book features an age gap relationship with a twist. The way these two work together has a very interesting flare. I was not sure what to think of this short, steamy novella but it was well written with a good flow. Wren is definitely a yes girl personal assistant to Julian and absolutely exceeds expectations.

I am going to start by saying that I found it funny that the author stated its FICTION. Wren is hired for a specific position; Julian has a certain need while conducting business and she is there to assist him.
It's a hot spicey book that I finish within an hour.

This is a quick office read with some mutual desires that translate into a unique work/relationship dynamic. A perfect little spice interlude without too much build up or drama… just get to to the good stuff nd enjoy the ride.

I found "Warm for Him" to be a very enjoyable read. The story was engaging, and I appreciated the characters' development. The author did a great job of creating a compelling narrative that kept me turning the pages.
