i had the opportunity to read this as an ARC before it’s published and i loved every minute of it. there was love, heartbreak, happiness, grief, all of the emotions. the prologue was good and drew me in but the epilogue and everything in between???? JAW ON THE FLOOR. definitely a five star read for me⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book was top on my reading list in 2026, I read the prologue and balled my eyes out, that’s when I knew I was in for a rollercoaster ride of emotions and I wasn’t wrong we had crying,laughing,mad.

Verge (mmc) a bull rider out to prove himself even after losing everything.

Shiloh (fmc) she broke me in the prologue but she swore of bull riders and anything to do with bull riding due to a very tragic event that left her with a huge hole in her heart.

But once they meet she knew she couldn’t let him be, bull rider or not. Their chemistry was off the charts and the banter don’t get me started had me crying laughing.

But the plot twist and the epilogue has me on the edge of my seat hoping and praying for a second book.

I have read all 4 of Sydney’s books and even tho I told her trust me of leave me was my favorite book. I feel like I’m eating my words and I lied cause this book is where it’s at!!! This was the easiest 5 star book I have read in a while!!

I’m so so proud of you Sydney. You didn’t think you would ever be able to write a book and u look at urself now sis. You got not just 1 but 4 and i may be a outsider looking in but it’s a honor to be able to be apart of ur arc team and support you and watch you grow as a writer :) ✍️ you an amazing person!

Did I expect to cry in the prologue? No, but I did! Verge is a bull rider who’s lost everything and is determined to prove himself as the best. Shiloh has sworn off any bull rider and bull riding in general after a traumatic event. But of course the second that Verge and Shiloh meet the banter begins and their chemistry can’t be denied! It had me giggling and kicking my feet.

The story has found family, friendship, love, and loss (the loss had me messaging Sydney at 1 am upset)😭😂. Anyways….5⭐️ cowboy read for me! I can’t wait for book 2 because of the plot twist and Epilogue?? I need book 2 yesterday because I was not expecting that!!👏🏻

I say this with all of my love, WTF Sydney?? Seriously?!?!

Verge and Shiloh’s love was literally perfect, I loved it, they were MEANT for each other.

I LOVE a good cowboy romance, and this book was just that!

Maybe don’t kill off one of the best characters and rip my heart out next time… 😖

And don’t even get me started with the epilogue!!! Umm ma’am I NEED the sequel to this yesterday!!

3.5 ⭐️ Thank you to Sydney for putting me on her arc team! This book definitely gives 8 seconds the movie vibes and that is on of my all time favorites! Sooo many things happen in this book that break your heart and had my jaw on the floor! The ending is crazy and I cannot wait to read book two!

This book was beautiful from start to finish. Shiloh and Verge’s story will have you in your feels from the prologue to the end. Sydney did an amazing job with her imagery and her character development. Don’t hesitate just buy this!

LOVED this book. 4.5 stars. I was a little ehh about the characters falling so quickly for each other, but you fall in love with the characters yourself. This book starts out breaking your heart in the beginning and it doesn’t stop there. The endingggggg??? Can’t wait for book 2!!

If you like western rodeos and romance, then this book is for you!! The bond these characters have is unmatched. Verge is by far my favorite MMC from Sydney!
