She's stepping into her father's empire... but that kind of power comes with a price.
Angelica Crane thought she already survived the worst.
She was wrong.
Back in a world of power, wealth and carefully buried secrets, Angelica is no longer the girl she once was. She's stepping into her father's empire... and uncovering truths that were never meant to surface.
Because the deeper she goes, the more dangerous it becomes.
Allies start to feel like enemies. Old ghosts refuse to stay buried. And the closer she gets to the truth... the clearer it becomes that someone has been pulling the strings all along.
Tristan Thompson used to be sworn to protect her. Now, he's about to marry her... and he'll destroy anyone who stands in their way.
But even he can't shield her from everything.
Not from the past that's catching up to them. Not from the enemies hiding in plain sight. And not from the consequences of a war that started long before they knew they were a part of it.
In a world built on power, betrayal and revenge...
Some legacies aren't inherited.
They're survived.
Kiss Me Like You Own Me is a dark steamy romance featuring a possessive, morally gray hero, high-stakes corporate drama, and a love that refuses to break–– no matter who tries to tear it apart.
This series just keeps getting stronger emotionally, and this was my favourite relationship progression so far. Watching these two in this book felt so rewarding because you can truly see how much they’ve grown together. They communicate. They listen. They work through things instead of letting problems sit and rot between them, and honestly? I loved that they argued. It felt needed. It made the relationship feel real, messy, emotional, and earned rather than perfect.
The chemistry between them is still completely addictive and the tension is unreal, but what makes this relationship stand out so much is the emotional connection underneath it all. The spicy scenes are incredible, but they never feel empty. There’s trust, vulnerability, balance, and understanding woven into every interaction, which makes everything hit even harder emotionally.
One scene in particular genuinely broke me, where intimacy could have easily been used to avoid difficult emotions, but instead boundaries were set and emotions were forced to be faced head on. It was painful, beautiful, and probably one of the strongest moments in the entire series for me because it showed just how much these characters understand each other now.
I also loved that the power in the relationship never feels one-sided. They challenge each other, support each other, and trust each other completely. There are moments where control shifts and vulnerability changes hands, and I loved seeing how emotionally safe they are with each other despite all the intensity between them. And yes… the “good boy” moment absolutely ruined me.
The emotional moments throughout this book hit so hard too. There were scenes surrounding grief, forgiveness, memory, family, and healing that genuinely had me sobbing. Some of the quieter emotional moments honestly hit harder than the dramatic ones.
I also continue to adore the side characters and the sense of loyalty and family surrounding everything. I loved seeing more of the people closest to them and how connected everyone feels now. The newer characters were such great additions too, and I’m already desperate to know more about certain storylines going forward.
I really liked how the side plots and mysteries added tension without taking over the emotional core of the story. There are still questions left unanswered and I already need the next book immediately.
Emotional, addictive, intense, romantic, painful, healing, and impossible to put down. I loved every second of it. 🖤🔥📚

After the whirlwind of events and traumas of books 1-2, we'd hope for some HEA for our darling Angelica and her smoldering Tristan. After all, Bill and Daddy are gone. It's time for Angelica to step into Daddy's shoes and steer Crane & Assoc. through what remains of the fallout from Bill. It's time for Angelica to finally... grow up. The proverbial cat is out of the bag. She and Tristan are officially engaged in the eyes of the world. New faces and personalities appear in Angela's periphery. But is she too damaged to accept people at face value? Will she ever learn to trust again? Will she ever be able to marry her beloved? And... WHAT ABOUT SOPHIE?!
The decadence and spice is off the charts! I am IN LOVE with Angelica's newest BFF and cannot WAIT for the next step in Tristan and Angelica's relationship. Wedding Bells? Children? The possibilities are absolutely ENDLESS! Although, since we're talking about Rue here, that's pretty terrifying!
I cannot even with this book, the whole series!!!! The spice is immaculate, the suspense, the found family! I am not usually a big dark romance reader but I would recommend this series to anyone!! The plot was fantastic and the characters were all magnificent! Angelica and Tristan's relationship and how it grows and the relationships she creates in this book are some of my favorite parts!! This book is worth every star I gave it and then some!!!
This was an awesome read! I was hooked on the first page and couldn’t put it down! It kept me reading every time I got the chance and I never expected that ending!
