Book 7 in the Amaranthine Series
If you're new to this series, this vampire novel is NOT for young adults due to language, graphic violence, and adult situations. This is not a stand alone novel. If you were to read the first few books in the series, you could probably jump ahead to this story, however there are a LOT of characters mentioned in the Amaranthine universe. (We're talking 30-40 minor characters mentioned over the course of this one book alone.) It would be helpful to read the books in order to familiarize yourself with the characters.
If you've read the previous six books, plus short stories, etc., this is the book you've been waiting for.
*SPOILERS*
Yes. This is it. This is the book where we FINALLY see Katelina get turned from human to vamp. Yay!!! (Sigh)
Lots of action/violence in this book. Lots of cross-country locations. Katelina begins to grow as a character, with more self confidence than she's shown in previous books. This novel ends on a happy note.

Book 7 in the Amaranthine series starts rather unexpectedly and is taking lots of surprising twists and turns – one of those made me go: “Yay!! Finally!!” For a little while I was afraid that one of my favorite protagonists was this time finished off for good, but it turned out I feared for his life for nothing. Again lots of battle scenes with an ever-growing main character Katelina, who always feels like she has to prove she isn’t useless and is now, with Micah’s help, turning into a little fighting machine. And what a cliffhanger at the end!! I’m so glad, I had already bought book 8 in advance this time and can continue reading right away!

Everything comes to a head in this action packed 7th novel of the Amaranthine series. After being kidnapped by the ancient vampire Samael, Katelina finds herself unable to remember anyone or anything. Elsewhere, while Jorick searches for his lost love, a battle is brewing. Malick's determination to take over the world is as strong as ever. Can Jorick save Katelina and end his master's reign of terror?
Clash of Legends is the seventh installment in the Amaranthine series and this has got to be Joleene's best work yet. Where most series struggle to remain consistent and attention grabbing, Joleene has continued this series effortlessly. I am having a hard time trying to properly write this review because there were so many amazing things that happened in this book and I don't want to spoil them for anyone.
I enjoy Katelina's strength in this book. She has to deal with some very dramatic things very suddenly, and while she initially struggles, she is able to conquer her hesitation with grace and become the most kick ass she's been thus far.
Another masterpiece and I cannot wait for more. You have simply got to read this book!

This Book Was Given To Me By The Author In Exchange For An Honest Review
Magnificent and breathtaking! I couldn't put it down! Naylor's creative genius knows no bounds! this book was completely incredible! and the battles amazing!
Katelina's change in this one is incredible! she is so different! yet so much the same..lol...I hate to say to much without giving it all away. Joleen twisted it in such a way that no one saw it coming. I so can't wait to see what is in store for her character in the next book as well as for Micah.
The introduction of the newish character Xandria sets a different stage to the book and sets a different feel to it all now with Katelina's character. I think it will be interesting to see how it will all unfold and to see if she will be a trustworthy addition to the team.
The ending was totally epic! and I have to give Joleen kudos for it! I nearly fell out of my seat when I read it..lol... I am totally dieing to read the next book already! this series is the best!!!!!

Katelina, Jorick, and my other favorite vampires are back in what is probably the best book in the Amaranthine series. I know, I know. I say that about every book in this amazing series, but that's because this series keeps getting better and better. Clash of Legends starts out strong with Katelina going from one dangerous situation to the next, and with a huge surprising twist early in the story. No, seriously! You really won't expect this. Not in a million years.
Katelina is no longer the scared, confused young woman we met in the first book. She's grown accustomed to this crazy world she's a part of. While she doesn't always agree with Jorick's "adventures," she's not a passive participant. Katelina is independent and brave, and these qualities have earned the grudging respect of many. She's even made a few of her own friends along the way.
Naylor kept me on my toes the entire book. The fast pace plot barreled toward an incredible ending. The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it's over! I can't wait until the next book. I need more Amaranthine!

Clash of Legends was one of the best books I've read this year. I'm a huge fan of Joleene Naylor's works so I couldn't wait to read this one. I absolutely loved it and couldn't put it down.
Continuing in her vampire series, Amaranthine, this is the 7th book. In this novel, we get acquainted with her newest character Samael. He's become one of my favorites.
Her characters are well-defined and her story telling is excellent. There were a few surprises in this book that made this story even better.
If you like vampires, action, and a great love story, and you're over 18, you'll enjoy this read.
I can't wait for her next book.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! It was fantastic!!!! I can't wait for the next one, I am DYING!!! It had action, adventure, suspense, thrills, & romance!!!
It's CRAZY hard for an author to have the seventh book in the series be this thrilling and unpredictable, but it was!! It was the best yet and I really really enjoyed it!!
I am going to have to read it a couple more times before the next one comes out!!!!
