Lafcadio has a scale model of the solar system in her living room, and it has been there longer than most of the furniture (since way back when Pluto was still a planet). Lafcadio has been teaching her fellow Earthlings about the various wonders of nature for over ten years, but her favorite subject to teach has always been astronomy. Lafcadio spends most of her time in the Pacific Northwest sleeping, avoiding the sun and learning to make things.

I received a free copy of this book as a Goodreads giveaway.

I don't usually read much in the way of science fiction - but I do like short stories and although inevitably there were some stories which hit the mark more than others, I did enjoy the collection and maybe I'll read a bit more in the future.

If you like science fiction AND the short story format, then this is the very book book for you!
