Chrissy Chicory writes with a teacup in one hand and a candle flickering nearby, spinning whimsical tales that blend heartfelt mystery, lyrical language, and everyday enchantment.
Based in coastal Florida, she is the author of the Nettles B&B ParaCozy Mystery Series, the Culebra Chronicles romantasy saga, the dark folkloric Hallow Rising series, the gentle Lucid Living books, and the Ink and Verse handwriting workbooks.
Chrissy is also the hostess of The Velvet Teacup Society, a cozy reader community devoted to stories, reflection, and gentle connection—where messy buns, comfortable pajamas, and fabulous tea are always welcome, and readers are warmly invited to take a seat at the table.
This was a very different book than anything that I have read in along time. Chrissy Chicory wants everyone to be right a home in the B & B in Daytona. The B&B is run by Nannette Nettles and her husband Mossy with help from Mabel. Because it is Nannette 70th birthday everyone is trying to make is special. Her husband is trying to fix up the side yard to show his love with different things from there pass but it seems the more he tries the worst it gets. But finally, the ghost that owned the house before just must step in to settle everything down. Nan finds a old Cello in the attic just seems to think it will make her happy to play it. There seem to be some magic about it. If you enjoy very quite stories that just make you feel happy this is one to read.
