I really enjoyed this. I loved the small town, the found family and the love. This does have a kid in it, but I don’t feel like he took away from the story and he was age appropriate. These two were sweet together. Learning about each other. And being patient with each other. I loved the protectiveness they each had of one another. I also loved how one MC wasn’t the stereotypical body you would normally see in a book like this. Both men were equally measured and I enjoyed that. I wish they would have dived more into the healing parts on page. But over all I enjoyed this. The writing was good and the spice was nice

One small thing ruined everything!
After Hayes kicked Cole out of his life because of his insecurities, Cole was dating (?) Ryan, and here I thought that Cole and Ryan were casually dating, but Cole said, "We made out a little but never went all the way. " Oh f*ck, how I hate those words MADE OUT A LITTLE! A kiss on the cheek was acceptable, but not MADE OUT A LITTLE. I thought Cole had better self-restraint than that!

Dnf'd at 62% (not really sure why I read that far honestly) for a multitude of reasons.
1. Mediocre writing
2. Useless commentary
3. Shit just doesn't add up
You tell him to be out of there by 7 am so you can pack your shit.
You manage
A. A clinic visit
B. Move all your stuff into a U-Hall truck
C. Talk to your boss about quitting and explaining why you're quitting
And you're ready to leave town by 9am. You're telling me you did all of that...by yourself....in two hours? Okay girl
4. It's fast paced (dude gets cheated on and betrayed then moves to a new place all in the span of chapter 1- the first half of it really
5. Repetition
(He’s blond, slight, with the kind of build that suggests he usually doesn’t have to lift anything heavier than a laptop bag)
(I also, unwillingly, notice he’s blond)
These are literally separated by FIVE SENTENCES.
6. The two or three word sentences to move a scene along or whatever is incredibly annoying.
7. Maybe I haven't been around 6 yr old children enough but what 6 yr old talks like that? What 6 yr old knows/uses the term "boy crazy"?
“Mrs. Girdy was always sleeping, and Patrice was nice, but she ignored me. I think she’s boy crazy. Colby talks to me like I have a brain. I like that"

Loved it.
The only thing that could have been slightly different is Levi's character development. Truthfully, he acts and speaks more like a 7 year old than a 5-6 year old. There were certain phrases he said that did not come across as a younger child.
And I would hope that if Cole saw a 5 year old randomly show up to his house without an adult and stayed there all day without an adult looking for him that he would have reacted with more urgency than he did...
It was a sweet book and made me root for them -- the perfect amount of angst.
Also, the mpreg wasn't glossed over like other books do -- where one second they get pregnant and then the baby is born.

ARC review
New author to me and the read was a very pleasant surprise. It is emotional and sweet. I love Cole, he's such a badass sweetheart. The secondary characters plays an important role to the story and I love this found family that they create together.
It is an entertaining read with fun dialog and lots of things happening. I was mesmerized from the start and read the whole book in one go. Luckily I finished it before bedtime because it was impossible to put down. Well written and worth reading.

So cute!!
Cole rolled into a new town, a new dilapidated house, with a broken and little money. Then Hayes shows up and turns his whole world upside down!! I loved this story. It was so heartwarming, showing Hayes he could love again and showing Cole that Inspite of everything, he deserved a family and to be loved. Such a good book!!

super cute
Just finished reading and I said awwww. So adorable. I liked Cole and his relationship with Levi. Hayes I wanted to nudge a few times to communicate! Pretty low angst, light on the sexy times and overall a really nice easy story.

Sweet story
A bit slow moving at times but a lovely story and Levi was such a precious kid. This is a story of redemption for both Hayes and Cole who have both been through so much. The townspeople were also a lot of fun and I’d like to read more stories set in Copper Leaf, VT.

I enjoyed this one. It was good and got a bit better once Hayes accepted his feelings. I liked how things developed for them as a couple and as a family with little Levi.

A great first read from this author.
I never knew that I enjoyed ABO stories so much outside of my werewolf fiction but I guess I do. My only wrinkle is the odd switch to dirty talk. It almost changed the characters when the smut part started. Lol.

Believable and Real, Page Turner
I enjoyed the story line and the wonderful characters. City boy moves to small town charm. I could not put the book down and great descriptions of the town and it’s people.
