💔🌹 When the Stalker Cares More Than Family
This isn’t just a dark romance! It’s a mirror held up to a world that fails the broken. Lola and Emry carry so much justified rage that I couldn’t help but root for them. T.L.MacRae’s writing is exquisite, cinematic, and utterly addictive, thrilling and compelling from the very first word. The vigilante trope is delicious, and Kyle Hyde’s performance is sinfully good: deep, sensual, and perfectly distinct for each POV. His voice doesn’t just narrate! It inhabits every broken, beautiful moment. I need more from both of them immediately. 🎧🔥

Sometimes paths cross, and everything falls into place.
This is a short, fast listen with some spicy and gory moments.
Some things didn’t make much sense to me, while others felt a little too easy. Overall, it’s a simple story with a predictable ending that you can easily finish in one sitting.

I’m Glad You Were Watching Me was unhinged, disturbing, and exactly the kind of stalker horror romance it promised to be.
This book absolutely lives up to its trigger warnings, so go in prepared. It is dark, messy, violent, and psychologically intense. That said, the author clearly knew exactly what kind of story they were writing, and that made a huge difference for me. This never felt like shock for no reason. It felt deliberate.
What worked best for me was how fully committed the book was to its characters’ minds. Being inside their thoughts made the reading experience feel even more unsettling, especially because Lola’s damage and vulnerability shape the way she moves through the world. That made the tension stronger and the danger feel more real.
Emry was deeply unsettling, but he was also strangely compelling in a way that fit the story. And once the romance fully became what it was always going to become, it worked for me in a very twisted, very specific way.
The ending also gave me more than I expected. I thought I knew where the book was headed, and while I was right about some of it, the final turn still surprised me and made the whole thing feel even darker and more interesting.
This is not a soft or easy read, but if you like your horror romance truly unhinged and fully committed to the bit, this is worth checking out.

Girl… if you think someone is in your house, PLEASE do not investigate. I have watched enough horror movies to know how this ends.😂 This novella takes stalking, obsession, and dark romance and throws them into a seriously unsettling blender.
Lola starts noticing that something isn’t right. Things feel off. Someone may have been inside her home. Someone is watching her.
And then we get Emery’s perspective…
🚩 Sir. That is not a red flag. That is an entire damn parade.
Emery’s obsession with Lola is disturbing, possessive, manipulative, and completely unhinged and somehow the story manages to make you keep turning the pages because you NEED to know where this twisted relationship is going.
What I really enjoyed was the psychological cat-and-mouse aspect. The story plays with control, obsession, vulnerability, and the question of who is actually in control. Just when you think you’ve figured out the dynamic, the story makes you reconsider it.
It’s dark, uncomfortable, twisted, and definitely not your average romance.
Basically:
Normal romance: “He brought me flowers.” 🌹
This romance: “He was in my house.” 👀
Me: “…and we’re supposed to be WHAT now?” 😂
If you’re into dark romance, psychological horror, stalker stories, morally questionable characters, and relationships that would make your therapist immediately request a vacation, this one is worth checking out.

This was a rather cute book if imma be honest. Yes, there was some heavy topics but… SPOILERS!!!
the fact that two people, mentally unstable and a serial killer psycho could find love, then anyone can. It was a lovely pallet cleanser to some books I have been waiting on. Thank you T. L. !!!

Lola’s got herself a stalker. He’s unhinged but in the best way! Let’s just say if I ever had a stalker I’d hope they were like him 🤣🤣
Lols finds herself in grave danger and this is where the story really hits! What MacRae does with this short is clever flipping the narrative and left me feeling good about someone who I shouldn’t have felt good about! I listened to this in one go because I just had to know how it all panned out. The narrator’s great and easy to listen to!

This had a good plot but it was so slow. The stream of consciousness writing was way too much and nothing was explained enough. Was the guy an ex or not, I didn’t even know if they had ever even had sex before. It took so long for the main characters to get together then there’s a time jump to them being together

There is very little action in this, most of it is navel gazing. I only finished it because it was so short.

If I could rate this zero stars, I would. This was hands down the worst thing I have ever read... The smut was practically none existent and the dark romance was weeakk. Like what even was this? 💀
