Eleventh Sommer
Not yet published
Expected 20 Oct 26A decade of deaths. A fateful number. A countdown to chaos.
Some cases are just cases, but this one resonates from Nora Sommer's past and follows her all the way to the present — a pattern hidden in plain sight across ten years, ten countries, and ten unsolved deaths, uncovered with just six days to spare.
Detectives Sommer and Whittaker are in a race against a clock set long before either of them knew the game had begun, hunting a killer whose patience has been measured not in weeks, but in years. Grand Cayman is where he finishes — and a final victim's days are numbered.
Eleventh Sommer — the most personal... and dangerous case of Nora's career. The one that may cost her everything.

A killer. Ten deaths. One final target. And a race against time!
This one grabbed me from the start. The decade-long murder mystery is clever, the clues keep you guessing, and the tension builds beautifully toward a heart-pounding finale.
But the real treat is Maeve, the quirky Irish detective who arrives in Grand Cayman and becomes the perfect—and sometimes exasperating—foil for Nora Sommer. Nora's quiet, blunt, no-nonsense personality couldn't be more different from Maeve's outgoing, humorous nature. Their unlikely partnership is terrific.
Maeve, an Irish detective investigating a decade-long series of ritualistic murders of clergymen, finds herself in Grand Cayman pursuing the killer's final target.
As cryptic clues lead them toward the final victim, the story accelerates into a genuine race against the clock. The final confrontation is tense, dangerous, and delivers the payoff a thriller should.
Maeve is a fantastic addition to the Nora Sommer world. Here's hoping we haven't seen the last of her!

A Fast and Twisty Ride!
Eleventh Sommer is another fast-paced and thoroughly enjoyable Nora Sommer mystery by Nicholas Harvey!
As the eleventh book in the series, it’s been fun watching Nora grow from a feisty, determined constable into an experienced RCIPS detective, while also balancing life as a foster parent to a young Caymanian teenager.
This time, Nora and her boss and mentor, Frank Whittaker, are working a local cold case that becomes tangled with an intriguing international mystery involving a feisty Irish detective visiting Grand Cayman. Together, they work every angle—with a little help from their Irish colleague—to uncover the truth.
With plenty of intrigue, twists, action, and the beautiful Cayman Islands setting, this was a quick and entertaining read. I really enjoy Nora’s character and the way she continues to develop with each book.
Another great addition to the Nora Sommer series! I’m already looking forward to the next adventure.

Eleventh Sommer, the 11th book in the Nora Sommer Caribbean Suspense series keeps you glued to the page from start to finish with a masterful countdown plot that connects ten years of unsolved global cases right back to Grand Cayman. The pacing is quick, but what truly stole the show for me in this book was the addition of the new character, Maeve. Maeve, a detective from Ireland, brings a fantastic new dynamic to the story, injecting fresh energy into the established team of Detectives Sommer and Whittaker. Watching Maeve integrate into the high-stakes investigation added a highly entertaining layer to an already gripping mystery. If you love suspense, clever puzzles, and great character development, this is a must-read. Nicholas Harvey's writing is as sharp as ever, and I cannot wait to see where he takes Nora and Maeve next. Highly recommended!

Once again Author Nicholas Harvey had me on the edge of my seat and had me guessing throughout this whole book. What started as two poachers interlocked with a cold case and an unexpected case that involves people all over the world. When visiting detective Maeve Donnelly pulled Detective Nora Sommer into a case she has been working on, it becomes a race against time to solve the mystery, codes, and figure out who the last victim will be and who has been killing religious figures for over a decade.. I love the thrill, and the antics of the amazing characters who play off one another and I love the twists and turns and there are plenty ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This series just gets better and better. Nora is a force to be reckoned with, but she's been through so much. She could've become a very mean and nasty person but instead, she's inquisitive, intelligent, and insightful. This storyline took a definite turn, but I enjoyed it very much!! Nora is still learning, but with Jazzy taking her under her wing and teaching her all things Jazzy I think she'll turn out ok when she grows up!!
