NY Times and USA Today bestselling author Lexi Blake lives in North Texas with her husband, three kids, and the laziest rescue dog in the world. She began writing at a young age, concentrating on plays and journalism. It wasn't until she started writing romance and urban fantasy that she found the stories of her heart. She likes to find humor in the strangest places and believes in happy endings no matter how odd the couple, threesome, or foursome may seem.
Her first novel, Their Virgin Captive: Masters of Ménage, Book 1, was a collaboration with New York Times bestselling author Shayla Black. There are five more books available in the series: Their Virgin's Secret, Their Virgin Concubine, Their Virgin Princess, Their Virgin Hostage, and Their Virgin Secretary. The next book in the series, Their Virgin Mistress, is releasing this April.
In addition to the Masters of Ménage series, she is the author of the Masters and Mercenaries series. There are eight full-length novels and four novellas available now, with more coming in 2015.
In 2013, Lexi also began releasing her urban fantasy series, Thieves. The first five are available now, with Ripper, a spin-off to the series, coming in 2015.

So I mainly read this book for the Demonica book, but ended up enjoying all 4 stories. They were really great and I will be looking into the series to see if I want to start any new ones
I enjoyed this anthology of short stories and novellas. My favourite was the Shadowlands novella about Rainie and Jake but I am an acknowledged fan of this series and author. The other writers were new to me. I surprised myself by really liking the story of Azogath and Lilliana. This was not something I would normally have chosen but was a well written and sweet romance, obviously with a paranormal twist. The other two stories here were readable and likeable without wowing or engaging me to the same extent. This is not to say I wouldn't read these authors again just that I felt they were more championship than premier league. I would say if you like erotic romance and well written sex scenes give this anthology a whirl. It's a great way to spend a few hours. A good Read.
Dungeon Games by Lexi Blake 3 stars Overall, decent story. I liked the way Derek and Karina mostly worked together. Granted there were some issues between them (and some boneheaded moves) but they managed to work through things. I did like the way the rest of the Taggert team helped Karina. Also liked how they pushed Derek to pull his head out. I will admit that I did not like Maia at all. I kind of felt like the author was trying to push for a sympathy vote but I just couldn't get behind it. She was a royal witch and I liked Karina going after her. I will admit that Maia got a couple of points for the way she handled things at the end. Can't decide if I'll check out more of the overall series or not.
Azagoth by Larissa Ione 4 stars Okay, I really liked this one. It was interesting watching Azagoth starting to feel again and I liked the way Lili realized what was causing the changes in Sheoul-gra. And then tried her best to figure out how to bring them about. Yes, there was some minor stupidity on both sides, but I was glad that Lili realized what had changed and set about trying to fix it. Even realizing that since she wasn't following Raphael's orders meant she was still going to be stuck. I was glad that Idess offered to help. And glad that Lili punched Zhurbaal in his smug little face. Kind of wanted her to punch Methicore too.
Need You Now by Lisa Renee Jones 2 Stars I did not like this one. I'm not 100% exactly what it was, but it just rubbed me wrong. I didn't like the way Jensen never really apologized. He just showed up with a bunch of cash and Girl Scout Cookies and said stay and Danny did. I get that it's a short story, but I guess I needed groveling. He outright admitted he was using/taking care of her but when she tried to call him on it, he said it wasn't.
Show Me, Baby by Cherise Sinclair 3 Stars This was interesting. I liked the different personalities not only between Jake and Rainie, but between all the Masters and the subs. All the personalities meshed really well and I liked how they all became a family. I hated the way Rainie let the people get to her, and the fact that she was trying to run away. I did think the way Z got her to trust Jake was interesting/mildly laughable. Obviously he knew what was going on, but I kind of liked that he was still able to essentially surprise Jake with the info. I kind of wanted someone to smack Jake. I did like how Cullen and then Heather managed to do it; I don't care how big and strong you are, there's still times when everyone needs someone to lean on.
I couldn't read the first one, it was DSMB in disguise and that genre is disgusting. I prefer real women characters that don't have to rely on misogenistic dicks for partners; this genre is not for me.
Azagoth, in contrast was my favorite of the Demonica series. The characters are light-harded and the real women heroine makes real decision that don't invole being tied up or safe words.
I don't remember much about the story by Lisa Renee Jones. The last one was fine, if a bit scattered. The characters are all over the place. It ended up with a HEA, but that wasn't at all clear through the story.
Anyway, for the most part the novellas were good and if you can just skip the first one, they are an enjoyable run of bedtime stories.
Loved reading about the shadowlands masters and mistresses. I found myself struggling to like some of what Rainie thought of herself but when her past became clearer I had better understanding of her inadequate feelings. Loved HEA
I really enjoyed the first and last story in this book. As with all collections every story is different and some appeal more than others. That isn't a bad thing at all. I had much fun and am glad I picked it up.
Some of the authors I’ve read before, others were new to me. That’s the fun thing about bundles. I’ve reviewed and rated the books separately in a comment, which I will dare on Goodreads.
I enjoyed this anthology more than I enjoyed 1001 Dark Nights: Bundle One, but it still wasn’t a collection in which I loved every single novella. Rather, I found that I adored two and was a bit meh about two. Still enough to make me want to continue reading through these anthologies – there are some wonderful gems and new authors to discover with just a turn of the page.
The stories within this collection are fairly intensely sexual at times. Which, depending on my mood and the style in which they are written, can be thoroughly enjoyable, or a little bit too intense. I always love to put myself in uncomfortable mindsets when reading. It’s how I learn and grow. Some of these might even be the kind of uncomfortable I enjoy on a second reading.
Although some of these stories were a little intense, I also loved that all four of them have a common thread. All four of these novellas featured some kind of Dom/Sub relationship, but they were also filled with love and respect, something I really enjoyed. I can’t wait to continue with these anthologies and keep pushing my comfort levels.
Wasn't all that crazy about Azagoth, and that is what drew me to this bundle, but the three other powerhouses more than made up for it, even though I had already read the Cherise Sinclair one. Can never get enough of her stories, and now I'm a new fan of LRJ.
Cherise Sinclair's story was perfect: Jake and Rainie were so tender and hot together ...the other stories didn't worked for me. The male characters weren't true Dom but true dominant idiots.
