Patti Murphy introduces us to another world where there is magic, mayhem, descendants of vampires, soul suckers and lots of good food and wine. Can't wait to see where the rest of the series brings us.

Great scary fun.
Loved this tale for its crafty world building, caring and real characters who hop off the page, often with cutting humour. First in a series that promises a great arc for Kat and more sorcery solved. Great read, beautifully written.
