LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!

You know what I've learned after reading this book? That I FREAKING LOVE JEWEL E ANN!!!! Her writing just blows me away and her stories end up captivating me. This series was unlike anything I've ever read before and at first I was worried that it wouldn't be for me but then it grabbed a hold of my heart and I was all in for this crazy ride!!!

Usually there is only one guy I end up falling for in a story but this one gave me two BEAUTIFUL men to swoon over. They couldn't be more different in every way and yet each man made my heart soar. I'm thinking about adding them to my GR name. Can my name get any bigger? Luke and Jackson are seriously amazing book boyfriends!

Jillian/Jessica finds herself in a precarious situation which seems all too familiar. Luke can't stop thinking about seeing her in that hotel lobby and has this feeling in his gut that she needs him. And while Jackson gives Jillian some space, he's also struggling with whether or not he can tell Ryn the truth about his other life as Jude Day. Once his past comes and introduces itself to his present, his chance at happiness is compromised.

We get more flashbacks from Luke and Jessica's time together up until her faked death and every moment with Luke had me falling more and more in love with him. I can't even count how many quotes I highlighted throughout this book!

 photo 978bf2b561e08ca27941ca2ddfec9659_zps1d8tpaa7.jpg

Don't even get me started on Jackson! The man is incredible. The way he was so passionate about Ryn even made my toes curl! Every woman over 40 needs a Jackson!! There was one moment in the book that I seriously just about had a coronary and started to have the ugly cry. I almost had to get myself seriously drunk, which is nothing new when reading one of Jewel's books!!

On another note, Luke's younger sister Lake was a secondary character that was a serious scene stealer. I would love it if somehow we could get a novella for her because OMG the chemistry between her and a certain someone was really intriguing me.

I am trying not to give too much detail in this review because this is a story you need to go into blind. I am telling you it is so unique and it is so damn good! Every time I read a book by Jewel, I realize more and more that she is a seriously talented author. She is definitely up there with the authors that I idolize.

Read this series!!!!!!! I promise you are in for one hell of an adventure!

5 ***One rule: Luke Lives*** STARS

”The Days were no longer dead. Their past had caught up to them. Their past could put everyone involved in danger.”

description

Jewel E. Ann delivers a FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC conclusion to this amazing series. This is the third and final book which is as good if not better than the first two books. The author ties every loose ends and gifts the world with an unforgettable romance/suspense series that for me rivals every other that I have read to date. The solid writing checks every box a reader looks for in venturing into a book. There’s humor, romance, steam, terrifying action packed parts as well as rip your heart out heartbreak.

description

In this final installment the curtain between life and death has been lifted and Jillian and Jackson can no longer separate themselves from their past identities. Danger has found them, truths are revealed, and Luke will stop at nothing to find Jessica.

description

Jackson starts to take steps in revealing who he was before moving to Omaha to Ryn. Can their love survive the truth?

”What are you afraid of?”

“I’m afraid my mind sees your past, my heart won’t remember how it felt about our future.”

“Ryn,” he whispered. “I’m sorry, but I have to tell you everything.”

description

Luke is insistent on finding Jessica regardless of what he has been told about her relationship with another man. He and his sister Lake find their way to Peaceful Woods and eventually with Jackson’s help they realize that Jessica is not off grieving over AJ but is in some serious danger. The author is still revealing the past events until we reach the day that Jude and Jessica fake their deaths and leave town. The story comes to a head when the villain is unmasked and brutal truths are revealed. What will become of the characters when all the smoke clears?

”Jessica died to be with AJ…but she lived to be with Luke.”

description

On top of the romance in this story is a different type of love that I need to mention, it’s that found between brother and sister. The author also nails the feelings that are between Jude and Jessica and their indestructible bond.

”In so many ways the greatest love story of her life was not with Luke or AJ…it was Jackson. He was the constant in her life. His love defined unconditional.”

I would like to give a special thank you to two of my very good book friends, Jenny and Allison for recommending this series and holding my hand when my nerves and heart thought they were on the brink of breaking. I simply adore these characters and have a very special place in my heart just for them.

”You want to know what comes after the epilogue?”

“What?”

“A new book filled with endless possibilities.”

God gave me a gift of 84,600 seconds today. And I've used each one of them to say thank you for coming across this epic series!

If you’ve read this series, then you’ll recognize this slightly adapted quote and understand why I'm using it here.

1140 pages in total and still not enough. Never has a book had such an effect on me. I’m crazy about this book and I adore this series. I adore every letter, every word, every sentence. Truly. Madly. Deeply.

Because there are books and then there are BOOKS. You know, the ones which you pick up one day and can’t rest till you reach the very last page. The ones you think about last when you go to bed and first when you open your eyes. The ones you think about repeatedly for weeks on end. The ones you tell all your friends to read because life just isn’t quite right otherwise.

Never has writing a review been such a hard task. How do I explain in words how epic and extraordinary this series is? The author’s writing is so exceptional and insightful that my review would seem somehow bleached and too mundane in comparison. So since I feel inadequate for the task and have no inspiration, I’ll just give you a few pointers here.

DON’T read this book if you like light and fast-paced books with an overused storyline, mediocre writing, one-dimensional characters, bad jokes and stupid heroines. The books in this series are deep and meaningful with a unique and intriguing plot, three-dimensional and awesome characters, written by an extremely talented author who not only has a way with words but also has a deep understanding of the human behavior and psychology.

And once you read it, you’ll become obsessed with this author and you’ll start following her everywhere to find out when you’ll be getting more words from her.

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★SPOILER FREE★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
Wow, juts wow. I got nothing but good things to say about this amazing series. It's not often that 3 books can hold my attention and this did just that! And the best part - it kept getting better and better!

❤This third installment was by far my favorite one. I can't remember the last time I stayed up late reading but this book kept me up until 2 am. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep until I finished it!

❤I am not going to talk about the plot anymore, because you just have to experience it for yourself and I don't want to give any spoilers. All I'll say is that this series was completely captivating, unpredictable, funny and heartbreaking all at the same time. I was left in happy tears by the end and still cracked up from reading the very last line.
description

❤I got my questions answered and I fell completely in love with all the main characters - they were layered, complex and perfectly flawed! I can't wait to read One by Jewel E. Ann , which will be about Luke's little sister.

❤I can't recommend this book enough to all my GR friends! Please read it! :) Jewel E. Ann has become one of my favorite authors and you bet I'll be reading anything that she writes in the future.

It's no secret, I'm crushing hard on Jewel E Ann and her phenomenal storytelling ability. This series was a breath of fresh air, it's unique and perfectly executed. I wanted to savor every word, every line, at the same time I was anxious to learn the fate of these characters who have become so very dear to me.

description

It has been thrilling ride, filled with twist, unexpected reveals, and epic love. Jackson/Jude's confession about AJ, leaves Jillian/Jessica angry, and looking for distance from her twin. The loss of AJ and a fleeting glimpse of Luke has Jillian is in a tailspin. But her plans for alone time are interrupted when her past collides with her present, and she finds herself in an all too familiar perilous situation.

After learning that Jessica is alive, Luke cannot escape his need to find the truth. He sets off to find the woman who owns his heart, in spite of the warnings he has been given. She needs him, and he will stop at nothing to find her.

"I can't let her go... I can't fucking breathe. Let them kill me because I'm already dead."

When Luke shows up on his doorstep, Jackson knows he has to make plans to move on. Not only for himself but for the safety of those he loves. Faced with his past, he confesses his sins to Ryn and hopes he will not lose her in the process.

He loved her. He drowned in the sensation of being lost inside her. And when Jackson Knight emerged... he was one. His duality vanished under her touch. Jackson loved Ryn to the depths of eternity, and so did Jude Day.

Will Luke find Jessica? Can Ryn accept Jackson's past? I was riveted, completely captivated, hanging by a thread. Dawn of Forever was everything I hoped for, everything comes together perfectly, questions are answered and secrets revealed. I highly recommend this series.

In a life filled with monsters, their love was a survivor.

Done. Another book I selfishly wrote for myself and shared with anyone daring enough to step out of their comfort zone to read something truly different. Here is my unbiased review - yeah, I can't type that without laughing.

At the end of Middle of Knight I was certain that a character died, but then I read a teaser on FB that alluded to the possibility that they didn't die. The author did an amazing job of answering that question in this book.

The book begins with a shocking revelation from Jude's past and let me just say ... I. Was. Shocked.

Then OMG ... Jillian! I can't believe what happened to Jillian actually happened. Didn't see that coming at all. This author took a huge risk by taking the storyline in that direction, but it paid off, it really did.

Luke ... what can I say? Swoon!!! I never imagined argyle turning me on, but Dr. Jones makes everything sexy. The sticky notes. The dress shirts on the floor. Office sex. ::wipes brow, changes panties::

Ryn, wow I love her! She's 40 and dealing with hormones, surviving an abusive past, and a real brat for a daughter. I feel her struggle with everything she says and does. It breaks my heart and no one has ever deserved a Jackson Knight quite like Ryn Middleton.

Jackson - he's. Perfect. There really are no other words except sex personified.

Knox McGraw - I hated him and then Jewel did something and I hate her for it. I hate her for making me question my feelings. I wanted to scream and then I wanted to cry. Oh ... how I cried for these characters.

I love these people and they are real to me. I will miss them dearly.

But ... Jewel, damn her! The conclusion exceeded my expectations, but in the middle of the book she opened this door and now I want more. To be continued ...

***4.5 Stars....especially for the sexy as sin Jackson***

Well, this has been one hell of a series...
I'm not going to lie,I did struggle initially with this one.My head was all over the place with the whole past/present thing and the way it jumped from character to character.I think it was probably due to the fact that when I started it RL got in the way and I could only read a chapter here and there.Once I got really into it I couldn't put it down.

So,we finally get to find out exactly what happened to Jessica and Judes's parents and why they had to get new identities.

I'm not going to go into the story because I think if you've got to the point of reading this one,you obviously love this series and I don't want to spoil it by giving anything away.
What I will say is that this Author has created some amazing characters and a brilliant, gripping story.
Jessica/Jillian is one of my all time favourite female characters. She's smart, sassy, compassionate and has such integrity.
I did love Luke but my heart is 100% with Jackson.
Dear God,has there ever been a more sexy man.....

This is a brilliant series that I can't recommend highly enough......

Jillian clenched her teeth, blinking back tears. In so many ways the greatest love story of her life was not Luke or AJ...it was Jackson. He was the constant in her life. His love defined unconditional...

Fantastic, brilliant, amazing, I honestly do not have enough adjectives to describe this series, and I was so happy with the conclusion, it was just such a great story full of suspense, passion and emotion, a truly epic love story all round.

In this final installment, the relationship between brother and sister is severely tested when Jackson takes matters into his own hands, but when the past threatens his and Jillian's future there is nothing he wouldn't do for his twin.

“I'd rather she love me in Hell than hate me on Earth.”

Luke is also in turmoil, and after seeing the broken shell of a woman he still loves, he is determined to find her and find out some answers that are preventing him from moving on. Both the past and present scenes from Luke were so heartbreaking.

“There were never enough stars in the sky to count how many times a day he fell in love with her.”

Jackson decides to tell Ryn everything about Jude Day and the man he used to be, but worries for the first time in his life that he will get rejected. Ryn has come such a long way in her self-confidence and with her frosty relationship with her daughter and ex-husband getting in the way, it seems their happy ever after is doomed.

“I love your imperfections. I need them. They give me hope that you will love mine too.”

This trilogy will have you on the edge of your seat and I can't praise it enough - A definite Five Star Series!

I urge anyone who loves this genre to pick it up and devour every beautiful word.

Dawn of Forever is a dark romantic suspense, and the third and final book of the Jack & Jill trilogy. Told in past and present, third person POV.

➽ KITTY KATS CRAZY ABOUT BOOKS

All the stars to affinity and back!!

This book gutted me and slowly put me back together, no other books compare to this series, like a drug addict I absorbed these words in record time. Book after book after book, three that quickly became my most all time favourites.

I never wanted it to end, it came full circle in this very last book and left me sitting here with a bittersweet feeling and tears running down my face, shrouded in such sadness with turning that last page and having to say goodbye to these characters.

These characters will always leave their mark on my heart, how could you not love each and everyone of them?

If you've not read this series (like me) because obviously (I live under a rock) go one clicking, this series has everything you could ask for, it has ticked every single box of mine!! A roller coaster of goodness!!

Early sleep-deprived yet spoiler-free review...

“Someday you’ll understand. Someday you’ll fall in love and it will brand your heart forever. And if life keeps you apart, you may invite others into your heart, but it will never truly be theirs. One stamp. One person.”

My apologies if this review sounds "blonder" than my normal but after staying up till 5am to finish this book, I must get it out there. One word of advice- Read. This. Trilogy. I guess that's three words but again, sleep-deprivation! Second word of advice- watch those reviews. There's a lot of very spoiler-ridden reviews out there. This is a trickle-fed plot so don't have it ruined. Go in as blind as possible. Enjoy the ride....

I always find reviewing the third book in any trilogy a bit difficult as I don't want to give away anything from even two books back so I'll just roll with it and see how it sticks...

Jewel E Ann captured my interest in Only Trick and completely won me over me in Undeniably You. This author has the insane ability to create such relatable characters who have real-life issues (and flaws) that make you feel like you've known each of them your entire life. Her combination of witty dialogue, descriptive writing, swoon-worthy romanticism and laugh-out-loud humor attaches you to her characters and their story 100 percent. It's a show-not-tell gift she has and it's not easily done. She certainly didn't fail me in this Jack & Jill Series either.

So what exactly is the Jack & Jill series? I guess I'd label it romantic suspense with a bit of a dark and humorous twist. The plotline gets deeper and deeper as we travel further into the history of Jackson and Jillian Knight. In Dawn of Forever, that past catches up with these two...

Jackson and Jillian are the two main characters, fraternal twins, competitive to a fault, yet would lay down their lives for one another...literally. Jackson, the tattooed with geeky glasses piano instructor has a kink for older ladies (not that forty is older). Jillian is a sex toy salesman, quirky and a certifiable badass. If anyone can pull off wearing red rain boots, panties and a tattered tank top to go get the mail in her senior citizen neighborhood, she does.

Secondary characters just add to the well-rounded full plot of Dawn of Forever. Listing them in itself is a spoiler so I'll refrain. Just be prepared for a series that follows more than one road travelled. We get the past. We get the present. Jackson and his love story. Jillian and hers...

 photo A6A83397-27AA-42C9-8A22-CE1EE2C9ADBD_zpsqm9mwyeh.jpg

With an impending shitstorm of epic proportions, we slide back and forth to scenes from the past so everything comes full circle in the end. The end... The last 15% of this book gutted me. The way Jewel E Ann writes got me so whole-heartedly invested in their story, everything is a sucker punch to the feels. Everything! I was sad. I was glad. I laughed. I cried. I'm not a crier and Lordy I cried that last 15%. And it hurt so good.... This author knows angst. She's the queen of softening us up with their endearing banter and humor then BAM- punching us with a dose of real life struggles. Nobody is immune in her books.

‘Love is reckless because true emotions are immune to logic. The most beautiful love stories are often the most tragic.’”

So be prepared, boys and girls- Dawn of Forever will push us forward quite a bit with suspense and some grit yet brings it all full circle with two epic love stories. Is it two? I guess this book has four... And I devoured every bit of each of them. I'm so happy with the ending but sad to say goodbye at the same time. An epic conclusion to the Jack & Jill series. Everything shines with this author for me and I look forward to more humor with a sucker-punch of angst in her future creations. I see a potential set up for a spin-off book of a certain amputee character. I'll get working on her...

RATING: 5 Forever Adoration Hearts!! <3

Life is not fair.
I’m sorry.
I forgive you.
I love you.

Dawn of Forever is the outstanding conclusion to this thrilling romantic suspense series, the tensions between the Knight siblings and their past finally coming to a head and revealing the answers to all our previous pending questions.

“I want you to let go. I want you to free fall into my arms and know I’ve got you. I’ll always have you.”

There are some romantic suspense books that are appreciated for their entertainment value and then perhaps forgotten after some time has passed, however, each installment in this series falls into the memorable category—a testament to Ms. Ann’s incredible narration showing us the duality of dark humour and cataclysmic emotions as cultured through the past and present of Jillian and Jackson. The plot itself is deliciously nebulous, and must be experienced first-hand.

“Sometimes life sucks.”
“Yes.” He turned, using his free hand to cup the back of her head, pulling her into his chest. “And sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes we weather the storm, mourn the casualties, and find the sun on the horizon has never been brighter.”

While the personalities of Jill and Jackson have been continuously building with each installment, in this we get the culmination of who they really are as individuals and as family. They are as badass as ever, but the vulnerability to their characters endear them to us all the more, and we can’t help but fall in love with them for nothing more than being who they are. Jackson’s relationship with Ryn and Jill’s relationship with Luke are sweet reprieves from all the dark, giving all the romantics at heart one more reason to believe that true love does exist.

“You want to know what comes after the epilogue?”
“What?”
“A new book filled with endless possibilities.”

Overall, Dawn of Forever (this entire series really) is a read I won’t be forgetting anytime soon as its embodiment of paradoxes—love and hate, dark and light, hope and helplessness, life and death—leave us irrevocably awed and humanely humbled; undoubtedly earning a spot on our favourites shelf.

Other Fave Quotes:

There were never enough stars in the sky to count how many times a day he fell in love with her.

“I love your imperfections. I need them. They give me hope that you will love mine too.”

In a life filled with monsters, their love was a survivor.

Life was nothing more than one long blink. Here today. Gone tomorrow.

In so many ways the greatest love of her life was not with Luke or AJ ... it was with Jackson. He was the constant in her life. His love defined unconditional.

“Goodbye, Aric James Monaghan,” she whispered.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

-----

As it goes: “God gave you a gift of 84,600 seconds today. Have you used one of them to say thank you?” ~ William Arthur Ward, I’d like to thank Jewel E. Ann for giving me an unforgettable series, an everlasting love in AJ, and an admirable heroine in Jillian. I’d also like to thank my beautiful friend Suzanne for letting me rant, swoon, and cry with her no matter the time. <3

Fantastic! I’m so in love with these characters and will continue to be. Epic conclusion to this trilogy and an all time favorite of mine.

1st read in July 2016/ 5 Stars
I'm speechless!! There's no other word for it. What a phenomenal story. I'm not going into details about the plot. It simply has to be experienced from the first book End of Day. Once you start you can't let go of these remarkable characters and clever storytelling.

Dawn of Forever tied every loose ends up perfectly. It was equally as good as the previous two books if not better. I loved the pace of the story, beautifully mixed with suspense and romance. My emotions were all over the god damn place and I loved it!
What can I say about the characters that I haven't already said in my End of Day and Middle of Knight reviews? Jessica/Jillian was a fantastic character, definitely one of my favorites of all time. I loved her courage, fierceness and her honesty. She was simply an intriguing woman with so many layers. The same can be said about her twin brother Jude/Jackson. I loved that I got to see the real man and it took a mature woman to bring him forth. Their twin bond and love was the heart of this series, right along with Luke and Jessica. These two filled my heart with so much love and heartache.

Jewel E. Ann has done it again. She took my breath away and blew my mind. Her writing and storytelling is excellent and intelligent. I could easily highlight the whole book. It was so damn well written. She kept me entertained and on my toes throughout all three books. Once again I bow down!

5 'there are not enough' stars!

“What’s left when someone takes back forever?”

Without question Dawn of Forever completes one of the most exciting, romantic, thrilling, passionate and darkly humorous series we’ve ever read. To say it’s one of our all-time favourite series is an understatement. Bravo Jewel E Ann we take our hats off to you and stand applauding on the finish line. Because wow. We have to admit we always worry about trilogies – keeping that momentum going and tying up those pesky loose ends. Well, we needn’t have worried here because we got all the answers and more whilst being taken on one hell of a rollercoaster ride that began where we least expected it to. It was magnificent and awe inspiring.

“I want you to let go. I want you to free fall into my arms and know I’ve got you. I’ll always have you.”

“Don’t ever ask me not to love you.”

“Because I need to love you.”
Drawing in a ragged breath, he shrugged. “It’s all I know,” he whispered.

Dawn of Forever is the conclusion to the Jack & Jill series so there’s not much we can say without spoiling this brilliant series which as you know is the last thing we would ever want to do.

‘His hand moved towards hers. Letting just the tip of his finger touch the end of hers. He inched it up with the softest touch. Then, like a young child, she grabbed his finger and squeezed. Luke felt her touch in the deepest depths of his heart.’

Therefore know this, you’ll NOT want to miss this series that had us gripped from the first page – where every single book brought everything to the table having us riveted and breathlessly devouring every written word. We will miss every single character as they stole such a huge chunk of our hearts.

“I worship the ground you walk on.” A blinding smile grew along his face as he pulled her into his arms and whispered in her ear, “Impossible. When I’m with you my feet don’t touch the ground.”

There is absolutely nothing else we would want, this whole trilogy was perfection. We’ve fallen in love with every single character, we’ve struggled with our heart – we’ve laughed to tears, cried buckets and swooned again and again.

‘He would die for Jessica. He would kill for her. He would end ten lives to save one, if that one was hers. It wasn’t sane. It was far from rational. But it was love, and true walk-through-the-fucking-flames-of-hell love was unconditional and completely insane.’

Our hearts have melted into puddles at the romance and our pulses have skyrocketed at the passion. The writing was flawless – so again. Standing ovation from us to Jewel E Ann.

“I can’t let her go…I can’t fucking breathe. Let them kill me because I’m already dead.”

Now excuse us as we’re off to see about having some light pink and white argyle panties made with the inscription: Property of Doctor Jones.

“I’ve got you. I’ll always have you.”

4 ★'s

Finally, the last book. Finally, we get to see if there's any hope...

After the events at the end of the last book, Jillian is pretty pissed at Jackson and she takes off. Unfortunately, she doesn't make it to her designation...(but who didn't see that coming?)

I was a little disappointed that Jackson wasn't more on the ball but then again, he's head over heels in love and trying to make that work so I guess I could cut him some slack.

Things aren't easy for Jackson...he's never had a "relationship" and as blunt as he is, things just come out. Poor Ryn! But I had to hand it to her, she handled things pretty well...maybe too well?

description

Ugh...I really hate that I can't say anything without spoiling things but I will say thank goodness for Luke's persistence! He has a really good friend in Gabe that's for sure. And I loved Luke and Lake's (one of his sisters) relationship and how she gives him grief just like Jessica.

And speaking of Lake and you-know-who...I'm totally on board with that! I was sooo excited to see their book, One, just came out (7/28)! I cannot wait to read it!

This book is dark...and my heart went out to Jessica especially hearing the stories of her Mom, which by the way had its own heart break! (and I wouldn't mind having a book about that as well.)

But...hang in there! Things do end well...how could they not? The epilogue was priceless!

4.5 – 5 I will always love Luke Stars

I binged read the first two books in one sitting. This series is that addictive. Dawn of Forever is the concluding story to the Jack and Jill series.

The reviews and ratings are justified. This book will leave you simply breathless. The thing that is so unique about this series is that there are many love stories, and not all of them are happening at the same time frame. Jewel E. Ann is the only author that could make me love a love story that has happened in the past.

Yes, you read that right. I loved Luke and Jessica’s story and all of that happened in the past! Crazy, but true.
I bet you have a lot of questions going in your head right? Like what is going to happen to AJ? Will Jessica / Jillian go crazy? Will Luke go after Jessica?

Dawn of Forever begins where the last book left of, it also continues Jackson and Ryn’s story. First off, I love Jackson and Jillian’s relationship. I love it when they love and I love it when they fight. But you will see a rift between Jackson and Jillian and it will break your heart.

I also love Jackson and Ryn, but I’ll be honest and say my total focus was on Luke and Jessica. As much as I wanted Jackson to find love, overcome his past issues (because, yes Jackson has major past issues), I only wanted to read about Luke.

You will also get to find out what happens between AJ / Luke / Jessica. I’ve been dying to know, what will happen to AJ. Jessica went back for AJ, so where does that leave Luke?

In the first two books you read Luke’s story as past flashbacks, they were addictive and I totally craved it, but I was FINALLY going to get my present story. I felt like I was running to the finish line. With every chapter I gobbled up, I was waiting for the moment where Luke and Jessica would finally interact. Let me just say this, a HUGE portion and just like the previous books, focuses on the past.

Many questions will be answered and many things will be revealed, all of that are during the flashbacks. I am torn by the flashbacks because I learned a lot when I read them, but like I said, I really wanted to read just about Luke and Jessica interacting.

Regardless, this story had me tied up in knots. I was reading like mad, I was pulling my heart out and I was sobbing over Luke and Jessica. I just couldn’t get enough. Even though the series is over, I still could read another book in this series. It’s like no other series I have read.

You will not be disappointed with the conclusion.

5 ADORING STARS

Before this series, I’d only read one book by Jewel E. Ann and FLOVED it – Undeniably You. When I saw One was coming out but it was recommended to read this series first, I made it my mission to do so. Damn, I’m beyond glad that I did. Forget the story, it’s brilliantly done but I’m not going to talk about it. You NEED to experience it first-hand.

What I will say is this series is about the End of Day, birth of Knight and when Knight meets Day. That's all you need to know!

As for the characters and the emotions, this series was wrought with light and dark, good and evil, the capacity to survive and love, and the complexity of the human psyche.

There were so many things going on in this series, so many characters to adore and a few to loathe, which made for an intensely rich, emotionally packed read.

"In a life filled with monsters, their love was a survivor."

The heroine, Jessica/Jillian, and secondary character, Ryn, were different in so many ways but the same in the most important. While both faced the ugliness and brutality of life, they're both survivors. Yes, they had their own weaknesses and their own coping mechanisms but IMO, they both rose above it all.

And the men…Luke, Jude/Jackson and AJ…with each of them, I adored them all for all very different reasons. That’s what I loved about this story. Jewel gave me three heroes to fawn over and fall for. Where Luke was adoration and morality, Jackson was ruthless love and never ending loyalty and AJ was broken love and strength of spirit.

"Love is reckless because true emotions are immune to logic. The most beautiful love stories are often the most tragic.”

I highly recommend this series. You won’t regret meeting the Jack and Jill twins and going on their journey! I’m thrilled I had my girl, Maida, to rant, squee and cry with!

This was one of the best series reads I have had in a long time. Jewel E. Ann is going down as an ultimate favorite. Massively creative and innovative in a book world saturated in redundancy, Ann has truly shined above. From book one all the way to the dramatic ending that is Dawn of Forever, the reader will feel ripped apart and reassembled in the best possible ways.

It is a hard thing to write a non-spoiler review. Especially if it’s a series that has abundant twists and turns. You won’t see things coming until they are right on top of you. What a talent that is to pull off! Jack & Jill is a series that will stick and wind its way into the reader’s subconscious and leave you feeling beat up and ultimately beyond satisfied with the ending.

So what can I say that wont spoil the experience of this series?

Love is always the goal.
Redemption is sweet.
Validation will come.
Sacrifice is selfless.
True family once found can never be lost.

Get it. Read it. Love it. Adore, adore, ADORE this book!

I love this series so damn much but there are a bunch of reasons why I chose to 3 star the final book.

1) The entire book was unsatisfactory.
2) Parts that should have not been slow were so slow, it killed me.
3) Parts that should have not been rushed, were rushed.
4) I am a salty and bitter human being

Anyway, despite it all, I'm very upset to be leaving everyone behind. I definitely recommend this series!!!

“I want to be your everything, but only while I’m here. If the day comes that I’m not, then let me go. Let me be your greatest memory.”
I’ve been singing the praises of the Jack & Jill series ever since I took a chance on End of Day, the amazingly unique first book in the trilogy. It’s incredibly hard to maintain that level of excellence throughout a series though, and—I’ll admit it—I’m a difficult reader to please. I braced myself for disappointment with Dawn of Forever. I threw down the gauntlet, daring Jewel E. Ann to impress me again, and wouldn’t you know she picked it up and ran with it? Jewel E. Ann has pulled off the virtually impossible by creating not one, not two, but three full-length novels of exceptional quality.
“Someday you’ll fall in love and it will brand your heart forever. And if life keeps you apart, you may invite others into your heart, but it will never truly be theirs. One stamp. One person.”
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Jewel’s storytelling it’s that she tends to lull the reader with humorous banter before destroying our emotions. Here though, the first couple chapters set the tone for the rest of the book and let you know right off the bat that this is going to be an angst-filled story.

 photo DawnOfForever-teaser_edited-1_zpsevhwqolk.jpg

The plot unfolds from the viewpoint of Jillian/Jessica, Jackson/Jude, Luke, and Ryn, as once again, the story flips back and forth between past and present. Jackson has always been a bit of an enigma, but we finally discover the circumstances that drove him to be the messed up manwhore he used to be. All our preconceptions are challenged as Jewel throws the reader into one shocking revelation and twist after another. That’s not to say there aren’t lighthearted and romantic moments. Jessica’s argyle teasing, Ryn’s mojo, Luke’s Post-It notes, and Jackson’s irreverent humor provide wonderful levity.
“I got a tattoo on my penis and it’s infected. I fear it’s going to fall off. Hopefully not during the wedding.”
She giggled. “Shut up.”
He smiled.
“What did you get tattooed on your penis?”
“Open wide.”
Yes, I may have cursed Jewel E. Ann a few times for gutting me, but this is primarily a gorgeous love story featuring endearing, wonderfully imperfect, complex characters. Dawn of Forever is touching, gritty, sexy, suspenseful, and utter perfection. It’s a satisfying end to a truly spectacular trilogy. I can’t recommend the Jack & Jill series highly enough.

***** MORE than 5 stars*****

Holy Shit what a book, what a series!!!!
Yep this series definitely deserves more than 5 stars.

"Someday you’ll fall in love and it will brand your heart forever."

Okay first I have to say a BIG bravo to Jewel E. Ann for writing this absolutely amazing series!!!

It simply is one of THE BEST SERIES I HAVE EVER READ!

It's difficult to say much about Dawn of Forever without giving away critical plot points.
But I will say is like the previous book the writing was brilliant and every question that Jewel left hanging in the other two previous books get answered!

This is such a good romantic suspense, you have a need to keep reading to find out what will happen to these amazing characters. I did really love all the main characters in the book.
We did get more about the relationship between Jessica and Luke. Loved seeing Luke fighting for the love of his life. Damn that man will make you swoon.
Jackson, Jackson, Jason, you sexy tattooed man with geeky glasses, how I am going to miss you.

"I love your imperfections. I need them. They give me hope that you will love mine too."

If I could give an award for best female characters in a book it would go to .......

Jessica/Jillian was just such an kickass character I loved everyhing about her!
More female character should be like her.

Damn it why did it have to end, I wouldn't have mind reading more.
Maybe a book about Lake and Cage.... and with a little Luke, Jessica, Ryn and Jackson in it. I'm just saying it could be a good idea :)

" Love is reckless because true emotions are immune to logic. The most beautiful love stories are often the most tragic."

Jack & Jill simply is one of THE BEST SERIES I HAVE EVER READ!
Now that all the books are out, you have no reason to not read this series!!
Can't recommend this series enough!

Thanks Denise for reading this with me and for answering my texts ;)❤️

I’ve got you. I’ll always have you.

Cloth napkins, sticky notes, the word contumacious . . . just a few things I will never look at in the same way.

I can’t remember the last time a series grabbed my attention the way this one did. This series was a stunner. One that dragged me through every single emotion. I’m not ashamed to admit, I’m a finicky reader, one that gets bored pretty easily. Rarely have I ever, read all of the books in a series back-to-back-to-back. If that doesn’t prove my love for this series, I don’t know what would.

I found this one to be the darkest of the three. It had a little bit of a different feel than the first two. I'm not saying I didn't like it, but it was missing a key ingredient that sort of knocked me on my ass - Jillian and Jackson together. They were apart for the majority of the story.

It didn’t really affect me in the beginning, but as the story progressed, I missed the way the twins played off one another - the snark, the bickering and the addictive banter. I craved it. Don’t fret though, the ending sort of makes up for it.

“Jujube, you were the first boy I ever loved."

I have to admit, I wasn’t a huge fan of Sunny and Mickey’s storyline either. There is no way in hell, I would ever look at Mickey as anything other than a monster. Regardless of Jillian’s almost acceptance, which I totally didn't get. She called herself a monster, but it just wasn’t true. Her compassion more than made up for her mistakes.

Last but certainly not least, my favorite part - the ending. I completely adored the way things turned out - for everyone. There isn’t one single thing I would change about any of it.

Sorry, Thelma . . . I had to tell him.

Dawn of Forever (Jack & Jill #3) by Jewel E Ann
5 stars!!!

“Love is reckless because true emotions are immune to logic. The most beautiful love stories are often the most tragic.”

I have to say that once I have enjoyed a series as much as I have this one I am always hesitant to read the last book just in case it doesn’t match up to my expectations and the pedestal that I have put it on. However, I needn’t have worried. The conclusion to the Knight’s tale is seriously EPIC and Jewel E Ann really delivers with an unputdownable suspenseful, angsty final ride. The Knight’s certainly go out with one unforgettable bang.

“Monsters were weak. Survivors were strong. Jillian was a survivor.”

This has to be one of my favourite romantic suspense series ever and Jewel E Ann perfectly dots all the I’s and crosses all the t’s as she pulls together the lives of Jillian and Jackson. This book is action packed with some unforgettable scenes that pull the past and present together in one almighty battle for survival. Jewel E Ann though perfectly balances this with the trademark wit and humour that have been prevalent throughout this series as well as delivering with a huge dose of romance that will have your heart melting. Well if she doesn’t crush your heart, she will melt it so whatever, you’ll have no heart left by the end.

“In so many ways the greatest love story of her life was not with Luke or AJ…it was with Jackson. He was the constant in her life. His love defined unconditional. Someday she would tell him…someday.”

For the first time ever Jackson and Jillian’s relationship is at breaking point, while their sibling bond will always be there Jillian cannot forgive Jackson for what he did, she needs space. Jackson is freaking out about her leaving but he knows that there is nothing he can do to make her stay. Jackson is still deliriously in love for the first time in his life but is always constantly aware that his past lurks in the background and he knows that he will have to come clean at some point or walk away, both leaving him empty and alone.

“So hate me. I’ll fucking take it every single day because it means you are alive. I don’t need your love. I just…I just need you.”

Luke is still adamant about finding Jessica and this man really does have a heart of gold. When he loves he loves hard and he loves forever and this man is on a mission. Can our argyle sock wearing doctor find his one true love? Or will his digging and delving only cause more heartache in the long run?

I really cannot say anything about this, but just know that from the first to last page you will be glued to your seat, you will not want it to end and you will run the gamut of emotions. From the deep sense of dread, to butterflies, to tears to laughter this book has it all and it will keep you totally captivated and consumed as you weave your way through this engrossing story. From huge highs to gut wrenching lows I have to say kudos to Jewel E Ann for delivering a truly fantastic conclusion.

“Yes. It’s over. We have to leave. Fin de journee.”

This is one the most intense romantic suspense series I have read and these characters have a real knack of burrowing deep down into your heart. These two have been through so much already and yet their battles are still not over. Being the good guys doesn’t always pay off. But with this epic battle of good vs evil, forgiveness, love and survival there won’t be a dry eye or a normal heart rate.

“You want to know what comes after the epilogue?”
“A new book filled with endless possibilities.”

Does Jewel E. Ann hate me?

Because damn this book is torture.

My heart cannot handle this kind of pain!

The last few chapters of this book WRECKED ME! I am talking big fat ugly cry with snot and all! I swear I was a mess!!

WHY did I do this to myself?!?!?!?!?!?! I can't even write a review. And I only rated it 3 stars because it's so painful and I am bitter and salty. If you love emotional books then this trilogy could be a winner for you but as I said, I am not a fan of those and usually tried to stay away from angst filled books. This is just my preference and opinion so don't let me stop you from trying it out. And to be honest, Jessica and Luke's love/connection is one of the best I've ever read. I totally ship them something fierce ok!

I don't know what to do... Dawn of Forever gave me the biggest hangover. So, I would like to give the biggest thank you to Jewel E Ann! This series... this journey... was absolutely amazing!

Like the previous books, the story goes back and forth from the present and the past. The questions around the Knights and Days are all answered. We also get to see Luke's loving family again.

I'm so sad this series is over. I fell in love with everyone in the book. Even the retired neighbors embracing sex toys. I'm going to miss everyone. I wonder what Jewel E Ann is cooking up next, and I can't wait to read more from her.

“Sometimes life sucks.”
Luke loved, with his entire being, the woman who clung to him. He loved that every single one of her imperfections made her absolutely perfect for him.
“Yes.” He turned, using his free hand to cup the back of her head, pulling her into his chest. “And sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes we weather the storm, mourn the casualties, and find the sun on the horizon has never been brighter. I’m blinded by mine, and I’m certain for the rest of my life it—she—will leave me breathless.”
