Karen is a Biology undergrad with big dreams. She loves the outdoors and she loves her classes, so it seems natural that she'd go on a small, exclusive trip with her Professor and some other eager students deep into the Apalachicola National Forest to study endangered salamanders. She'll get some extra credit and even her name as a co-author on the research paper!
What could go wrong?
