This fourth prequel novella begins a new digital original series in the Endgame world and follows an underground group determined to put a stop to Endgame—and save the world—at any cost. They call themselves the Zero Line.

It's 1972 and Berkeley freshman Mike Summerhays believes he finally has some control over his life—until he learns about Endgame and the Players in charge of humanity's fate. He soon finds himself part of a group of people determined to stop Endgame by hunting down the generation of Players who preceded the Players from today in Endgame: The Calling.

The Zero Line Chronicles: Incite introduces readers to an underground conspiracy group with one mission: to kill every Player who intends to compete in Endgame so that Endgame will never happen. Endgame has not yet begun in 1972—but it is coming.

Incite introduces us to the Zero Line, a group of people whose mission is to stop Endgame from happening. If the Endgame isn't played, it cannot be won and most of mankind will be spared. The main character Mike is introduced to the Zero Line when he happens to get assigned a roommate who is a member of the line. Together, they start taking steps to stop the Endgame, and Mike realizes he may be in way too deep.

I really enjoyed this novella and it was really interesting to find out that there were outside people who knew about the Endgame and taking active measures to stop it. Looking forward to seeing how far the Zero Line gets in their mission.

In the first novella of the second novella collection in the Endgame trilogy, we focus on the Zero Line.

Their goal is to stop the Players of each line from playing so that Endgame would not push through and the whole world will be saved.

Enter Mike: a normal kid who gets sucked into the world of Endgame by his friends and he has to make his choice - to believe and join, or to walk away.

It was a nice introduction to a new group that plans to stop Endgame, and I have high hopes for their roles in the future.

This novella collection gives background to the Zero Line which I think will appear in the third book, Rules of the Game.
