DeMetria Hayes, a Detroit native and mother of three currently lives in Durham, North Carolina. She’s a proud graduate of The University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. DeMetria grew up quiet and shy but engaged in every after school and summer school program she could. Ms. Hayes loved the world of education and wanted to absorb all she could. She went from a quiet, subdued individual to a vibrant national influencer, outgoing author, international speaker, minster, actress, mentor and activist of domestic violence.

DeMetria began writing at an early age. As a young child she would spend endless hours chronicling family events and recording her thoughts. She captured every moment, writing what she heard or saw on a napkin, a piece of tissue, anything she could get her hands on. “An electrifying surge of energy stimulates my mind and body down to my fingers as the pen glides across the paper” says DeMetria. To her writing is like oil to the engine and she can't imagine life without it. The world around is all-new. She is experiencing life’s jewels and sharing her experiences with the world to inspire and to empower. Ms. Hayes enjoys traveling, fine cuisine, beautiful flowers, sunrises and sunsets. She has an adventurous spirit and a passion to help those in need.
