One drunken mistake. A one-night stand. It was never supposed to be more than that.
Noah Fairweather doesn’t care what it looks like. Going on holiday with your parents is all rather civilised and normal, even for an almost forty-something British doctor. Anyway, it’s a gorgeous beach resort, all-inclusive food, and the room is actually a villa with a private little terrace. Deckchairs, sun, sea, sand and he’s already eyed up a bottle of nice Shiraz on the room service menu.
What he hadn’t quite counted on was ending up being someone’s…drunken rebound shag.
Fair enough, but…now he’s got a bloke in his bed and his parents next door, and the guy… Crap. This wasn’t at all what this holiday was supposed to be about. There’s no future here, is there? Can a simple hook-up, a million miles from home…ever become something real?
We Need to Talk by Sophia Soames is a stand alone, sweet, swoony romance that I am in love with. These two just worked themselves into my heart and didn’t let go.
Noah Fairweather is about to turn forty years old. He is a British doctor and has never been in a real relationship. He is on holiday with his parents at a beautiful beach resort with his parents in the villa next door. Noah’s parents are hilarious. His mom is intrusive to the highest degree. Most of the time, Noah just finds it easier to go along with it. Like going on vacation together for his birthday. His plan is to hang out on his patio and read a couple of books he brought and maybe drink a little bit.
Fox Riley is forty one years old. He is the headmaster to a private boarding school for boys in Glasgow. He is on holiday with his so called friends but things aren’t starting off well when his ex and his new partner that he cheated on him with are part of the group. Why would his friends even invite him along?
I loved the way these two first noticed each other. When they saw each other across the room and couldn’t look away. Later on, some bad choices on Fox’s part result with him passed out on Noah’s patio. As so we begin!
What could be classified as a rebound, one night stand for Fox, turned into forty eight hours. Both of these men felt things they couldn’t understand. It was much too fast. Maybe it was just because of the tropical setting? But, they live a great distance from each other. Their lives could never blend. It’s best to just walk away with the memories, right?!
Both of these men suffer from an extreme lack of self confidence. Fox’s history was pretty heart breaking and helps to understand his decisions. For Noah, it is just the way he is. He has boxed himself into a barren, cold life. Noah has his parents but other than that, neither of these men have a support system. When they were together, it was like their black and white lives changed to full color.
“The person I’d been. Gone. I blamed him. Because after this? Nothing would ever be the same.”
This whole book was just wonderful. It did make me sad at times with how these men both tended to run rather than stay and try to face their feelings. They had both created what they thought was a safe life for themselves. The difference between them was that Fox really did love his life. He was doing such wonderful things for the boys at his school. This is the story of finding your “one” when it is the most unexpected. Of opening your heart to all the possibilities. I loved the way everything turned out. The ending was the absolute sweetest. This left me with such a warm heart. I will definitely be reading this author again.
Sweet enough—it’s always good to read about older MCs, especially if one of them lives in Scotland. I did want to know how a one-night-stand could lead to an HEA; the MCs, although bland and occasionally inconsistent, were kind to each other. But this really needed better editing. The repetitive first half dragged and would have benefited from cutting the word count. Preferably by excising in her entirety the mother of MC1. Pimping her 40 y.o. son out to chance-met hotel guests, barging into his room when she knew he was occupied, laughing it all off as a mother’s right—these are deeply unattractive behaviours. More attention should also have been paid to the optics of MC2’s relationship with a precocious under-age boy. The book would have benefited from sensible line-editing: an MC driving from Brighton to Glasgow doesn’t pass through Keswick; it’s four hours from the Scottish border to the precisely-placed Kilmartin Hotel, not two; there is no such title as “Baronetess” (*record-scratch*), used a whopping fifteen times. I’ve read some of Soames’ other (shorter) stories: they are generally low-angst and pleasant. But the pervasive presence of MC1’s pushy parent combined with over-wordiness and a lack of attention to detail means that this a book I won’t go back to.

Imagine you’re on a holiday and meet the love of your life. The feelings are mutual. Simple? Not at all.
This author always creates the most fabulous characters. You can only love them!
Noah is a doctor, he’s forty and wants a quiet holiday. A bit difficult with (lovely) meddling parents. Then… he finds a man on his terrace. Fox Riley is forty-one, he’s a Head teacher and happy with his job. He’s on a holiday with friends, including his ex and partner. Fox had a bad breakup. He ended up with burned feet at someone’s villa terrace.
They have an instant connection and the sexiest night. What they have is exactly what both have been looking for their whole lives: these feelings, this perfect connection, the fun, the warmth. Noah feels inadequate, thinks he’s boring, and no sane person wants to live with him.
Ha! Fox has other ideas about Noah. He’s convinced they should explore the unique connection they have, even if it’s just for this holiday. Noah is afraid to end up heartbroken. It’s scary how perfectly they fit. He is convinced this will never work. They live countries apart. Of course it will work! Not right away, of course. But it will work out, because this author knows exactly how to write a beautiful romance with something special! Did I mention Bailey? The fabulous boy who, after several bad placings, chooses his own parents?
My heart, what a marvelous story this is. Two handsome, fabulous men who couldn’t see their own precious qualities. Thank goodness the other one showed them! Noah is sweet, soft, attentive, and affectionate. Fox is lovely, emotional, honest, and a complete mess.
Tea, anyone?

5 stars Another beautiful and heartwarming story from Sophia Soames, I loved it very much!
Noah is a doctor, he lives a very simple life with a steady job and loving parents. No relationship though, he gave up a longtime ago. For his 40th birthday, his parents book a holiday in a beautiful secluded island and try to convince him to have fun. Noah is completely disinterested until he finds a man sleeping on his veranda, who injured himself by leaving his foot under the scorching sun.
Riley, a forty something headmaster of a Scottish school, is on vacation with his friends, his cheating ex boyfriend and his new man. Unable to endure his ex flaunting his new relationship and the coldness and mockery of his friends, Riley is looking for rebound sex. He will find that, and so much more, in Noah's arms.
I adored both of them so much: Noah is gentle, kind, starved for love and affection, but also convinced that a bright soul like Riley could do so much better than him. And Riley! He craves a partner, a family, someone who can support him and deal with his demanding job. Their chemistry in bed is instant and intense, they're so perfect for each other but they just don't know how to make things work and they are also scared because, seriously, how a 3 days fling on a dream vacation could mean they found their forever love?
Thank goodness for Noah's mother who's meddling but also very pragmatic and pushes her son in the right direction. And while Noah took a drastic decision and planned to uproot his whole life, Riley was working to give themselves the most wonderful family they could ever imagine.
During their whole lives, no one chose them like Bailey did: unabashedly, strongly, and without hesitation. Since he appeared in the book, it was clear he was the missing piece between Noah and Riley. They all deserved each other, even if Noah and Riley didn’t know what to do with him half of the time.
The epilogue is sweet and perfect, just like the whole story. Will Bailey have his own story one day? I surely hope so.
Highly recommended.
I received an ARC of this book from the author and this is my honest review.
Damn you, Sophia! Girl, we need to talk! You got me fooled again. After reading the blurb, I was like” oooh: that’s going to be a funny, spicy ride to hook -up town!” Yeah, shame on me {it happened not the first time that you duped me} because after just a few bites {chapters} I was barely holding up! Ripped my poor heart again, broke it to pieces. Yes, it was spicy, and it was hot and naughty, but it was so sad at times that it felt bitter and sour. My dear Noah, my big, gentle bear of a man, with the soul that is so lonely, so starved for love, and so scared to give a try and be left hurting… He is the one who wanted to wrap Riley in the soft wool and care for him, protect and cherish him, but he needed it so much for himself. He needed someone to show him how precious he is, how he deserves to be adored, needed someone to devote themselves to bring the sunshine to warm him up from the inside, and appreciate him for his absolute and pure beauty! Thank God for Noah’s parents, who pushed him to take the vacation, thank God for the Island’s sun that was so blistering that Riley ended up in Noah’s embrace, and that they got the chance of getting to know each other. How bizarre and unexpected were the circumstances of them falling for each other, so fast and rapidly becoming so entangled in each other. Riley is a mess, and he kept messing up and making Noah run away, until they realised that this is more than just having a rebound sex for Riley and a try for Noah to get a little taste of uninhibited loss of awareness and fear of doing something wrong in bed and just let all of it to play out and bring them both the enormous pleasure and stupendous orgasms, lol. Everyone described Riley as not having grown up, falling for someone fast, not able to make sound decisions, and ending up being a but of the jokes of his, let’s be honest, assholish friends. The poor thing cried a lot, soaked his broken heart in alcohol, and ended up winning, despite all the gossipy wishers! But in other aspects of his life, he is organised, professional and able to run one of the best private schools in Scotland. He is a contradiction in the best way possible! But then it got serious, because real life tends to interfere even with the biggest romantic dreams. They live far away from each other, and they know that long distance doesn’t work in most of the cases. And Riley, trying to be a hero, just walks away from the chance of love, naively thinking that he can save both of them a heartache. But Noah didn’t take it lying down; he found the courage to find his runaway lover and made them talk! And, oh boy, did they talk! What I love about the book is that it shows that these two were destined to end up together, no matter what silly things they worried about- like job, cohabitation, and so on, you know, the unimportant things, haha. Yes, it took some intervention from an unexpected little force of life called Bailey. It is so hard not to fall in love with this kid, his decisiveness, and yes, a little manipulation, but both our guys couldn’t withstand the little charmer. He managed to persuade all adults around him to go with his plans, no matter how far he was pushing them out of reality. Life for him started when he wanted to make his own choices, and he chose to create a family for himself. And did it, brilliantly, not just getting his two dads, but also the grandparents that were ready to uproot their life just to be close by and spoil him with love! This book is so lovely, so full of tender moments, so indulging in some sweet deeds, it's so hard to put it down. Forget about stupid exes, the dumb friends, and appreciate the real people who want the best for Noah and Riley. Emma, Cook, boys from school, the ever-loving parents, those little blessings that some people miss in their lives, and some have an abundance of. Those matter, those needed and treasured, because it’s all about love, always winning everlasting feeling that brings joy to the lives of regular blokes who had a chance meeting of their life. I want to tell you all that this book is a pure gem; it will hit you in the feelings, and I think it was the purpose of it to be written. So, as usual, I’d like to encourage you to get it as soon as possible, trust me- you don’t want to miss it!
“We need to talk.” Who hasn’t heard those four little words and felt the sinking dread of what was about to happen. But in the world of @sophiasoames it’s the title of her latest, a sun-swept tale of messy, mismatched, but perfect-for-each-other men. Noah, the GP unabashedly vacationing with his parents, celebrating his 40th in a luxury resort complete with a seaside villa. He may have to accept his extroverted mother’s matchmaking efforts, but the wine is good and there a man who’s caught his eye… Fox can’t believe his friends invited his cheating ex (and the one he cheated with!) to their annual vacation. After an awkward dinner, he grabs a bottle of wine and heads for the beach. He’s not sure how he ends up on a patio with one shoe and a severely sunburnt foot. The guy staying in the villa claims to be a doctor and offers to help. Fox hopes he isn’t a secret serial killer with a travel tea kettle… So begins a sexy, awkward, hilarious vacation romance between two lost souls. They know there’s an expiration date - Noah has a practice in Brighton, Fox is a headmaster in Scotland. But they just can’t seem to let go. And with a bit of prodding from Noah’s mom, the most amazing long distance romance is begins. Even if neither is entirely sure it’s going to work. It’s a fast burn start followed by a delicious, deep getting to know you via nightly phone calls. One weekend visit, the clarity that comes with having a few decades under your belt, and a leap of faith sets the stage for a magical HEA. You’re going to love Fox and Noah with all their quirks and insecurities and wry senses of humor. And then there’s Brayden. The young student who imprints on Fox and decides he, Noah, and Fox would make the perfect family. It may take them a while to agree, but turns out Bray was right all along. As always, Sophia’s secondary characters are wonderful. And the cheating ex is dealt with in a thoroughly satisfying way. I loved how We Need to Talk was bookended with escapes to sandy beaches and took a detour to the Scottish Highlands along the way. It’s the perfect beach book - definitely add this to your summer reading list! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
(3,25 stars rated down) This was a sweet story about two lonely men in their early forties meeting on a holiday.
Noah Fairweather is on a holiday with his parents and he can't help but be drawn to a man sitting at a table full of rowdy men. His mother notices and strikes up a conversation with Mr. Fox Riley, who is on a holiday with his (so called) friends. Unfortunately, his ex and his new much younger boyfriend are also a part of their group and Riley can't help but feel bitter about it. So he gets drunk and falls asleep on Noah's terrace. When Noah finds him there in the morning with a sunburned foot, his medical training kicks in and he sweeps Riley of his feet and carries him inside his beach cottage. Riley protests but not too much and two of them end up in bed together.
Almost from the very start they feel a strong connection between them, but with Noah's practice being in Bristol and Riley, the headmaster of a boy's school in Scotland, anything more than a vacation fling seems doomed from the start. Except, once they're both home, they start talking over the phone and making crazy plans about their future together.
I think this was my first story by this author and I'm not sure if this is their usual style, but both Noah and Riley's thoughts and actions felt very disjoined and even inconsistent at times. I would have felt more bothered by the fact if they both weren't likable characters. Their romance was of a very whirlwind kind and if it wasn't fiction I would be concerned about their future together. Since it was fiction, I was happy to just go with the flow and enjoy the ride.
Themes: dual POV, vacation fling, long distance relationship, children, found family
Enjoyable enough nonsense. "We need to talk" is exactly the kind of book that's ideal for a holiday read, when you want something light and undemanding that won't require too many brain cells.
Fox and Noah meet while on holiday, after Fox passes out drunk on Noah's balcony and ends up with a badly sunburnt foot. Over the next few hours, Noah nurses him back to health while Fox responds with relentless flirting, which quickly escalates into romantic and sexual shenanigans.
What follows is thoroughly silly and stretches credibility to breaking point. Noah and Fox fall hopelessly in love within about two days, return home to opposite ends of the country, continue visiting each other, and then, within a matter of weeks, decide to get married and adopt a child together at the school where Fox is Headmaster.
There's very little depth here. The characters remain fairly surface-level throughout, and the book seems well aware of its own limitations as an implausibly breezy rom-com. The plot moves so quickly that we never really get to know anyone, and the writing style can be frustrating at times. The author doesn't do a great job of signposting who's speaking, and frequently leaves words or phrases hanging mid-sentence, apparently assuming the reader will fill in the gaps. I often couldn't, and found myself confused.
One aspect I did enjoy was that Noah and Fox are both in their forties and refreshingly ordinary. Fox has a pot belly, nobody is sporting six-pack abs, and the characters feel more realistic physically than many romance leads.
As for the rest of it, though, I was left feeling underwhelmed.
Noah is a GP who is on holiday with his parents. A luxury beach holiday - a week to relax and also turn 40. Noah's mum is a force of nature and wants him to be happy. She encourages him to find someone to spend time with, maybe have a holiday fling? Fox is a Headmaster who is on holiday with friends because that is what he always does but this time his ex (they broke up 9 months ago) is also there and he's brought a new young partner along. It's a nightmare! After is self-inflicted drunken night Fox falls asleep on Noah's porch and ends up with a badly sunburned foot. Noah takes care of him, treats his foot, carries him around and they sleep together. The chemistry is great but it can't be more than a holiday thing, obviously because they live at opposite ends of the UK. They both try to go back to their normal lives but something has changed. Their connection is too strong to ignore and they really need each other. Sophia writes this need SO well. I wanted to try and work out the logistics problems for them! Fox has found family - his own pretty much ignore him -at the school where he works in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. He also wants Noah and then there's Bailey - a teenager brought to the school by social services - who badly needs a family and is very determined to get the family he wants. He adds so much to this wonderful story. Love, family and life being better when you are together. This is something Sophia Soames does exceptionally well. I loved this book and highly recommend it. I was given an ARC and this review is my honest opinion.
“Darling, you’ve had what…four nights in total together.”“Yes.”“And you’re giving up your entire life.”“Yes.”“Good for you,”
This book was such a cute, fresh read. Nothing to heavy. But you still got some good spicy scenes dont worry!
“Want me to pretend you’re in detention? I can do that. Whip those slutty little swim shorts down and give you a good spanking.
I felt like it was almost 2 different books the first part was the meeting the fun and all that The next part was the long talks, getting to know each other and taking a jump into it.
Noah and Fox was perfect for each other. I wanted to both hug and slap Noah sometimes and I adore Fox! Honestly i want his job and life it sounds Amazing 😍
“Midlife crisis. You’re having one, and you’re embracing it.” “Abso- fucking- lutely.”
Sophia made the perfect story between aaaw cute and that is freaking funny at the same time. Noahs parents was some of the best side characters and the one added later on (dont want to spoil anything) was the best addition and made the book feel complete for sure.
It is always a little funny reading a book by a UK author when i am used to US authors or at least US language in a book. Some words i had to google but that is part of the fun.
So if you love ❤️One night stand (that turns into a vacation flirt) 💕Found family 💚 Funny side characters 🖤 Some spicy scenes 🩵 40 + main characters in a midlife crises
And just a book without too much drama then this is for you!
Sophia Soames' romances usually feel like a big hug in the form of a book to me, and this one was no exception. It's cosy, it has wonderful characters and as always left me with an overall heart warming feeling.
I also like that we get older MCs who feel so relatable - Noah and Fox are both going through a rut in their lives and looking for a change when they first meet on holiday. The story starts quite disastrously for them, followed by a series of messy events with a little help from Noah's interfering parents (which is something I tend to find quite irritating but this time I actually thought was endearing and they actually grew on me - and that is saying something considering that Noah is 40 years old, but I found it adorable that he had such a great relationship with them)
But once they reconnect and we see more of Fox's life in Scotland it was the part I enjoyed the most. I loved the school setting and the whole Kilmartin atmosphere. And of course I loved Bailey, he was such a character and the perfect addition to their little family. The romance is sweet and usually I would say that it moved maybe a little too fast for my liking but somehow here it worked well.
Thank you so much to the author for this advance copy !
Delightful and heartwarming “vacation fling” romance!! I love a romance with mature MCs getting their chance at an amazing HEA, and this one really delivered! Noah is very down-to-earth and settled in his bachelor life. He seems to have given up on finding love, so he wasn’t prepared for Fox more or less falling into his lap, or at least his deckchair. Dear Fox is recovering from a breakup, hard to do when your ex keeps popping up where he’s not wanted… Fox definitely deserves the best, so it was great to see him and Noah get closer and fall in love. And after all the messy mistakes, fear of heartbreak and pesky real-life roadblocks they have to overcome, it’s incredibly rewarding to see their unexpected vacation fling turn into something enduring and meaningful. I really enjoyed the whole awkwardness of Noah’s well-meaning parents butting in, which results in some truly funny and sweet moments. The storyline about Bailey, the troublesome, headstrong, and absolutely endearing young student at Fox’s school was incredibly touching. Definitely a highlight, one of many, in this story. This is a lovely, feel-good love story. Wonderfully written, with a great secondary cast of characters to support the wonderful MCs. Recommend!
Noah is on vacation to celebrate his 40th birthday - with his parents. Fox is on the island for his annual trip with supposed friends but his ex is there as well. A drunken headmaster with a sunburnt foot is luckily found by a lonely doctor and the care turns to lust which begins a fairytale-like connection that neither man can deny.
There’s something about the way this author writes men falling love that brings all the swoon, all the yearning, and all the hope that what they feel is meant to last. Fox and Noah have different backgrounds, they live far apart, and have their own insecurities, but they desperately cling to each other as they attempt to make it work. There were twists and turns, supportive (sometimes overbearing) secondary characters, and luckily a quick and easy resolution to how they come together in the end (suspend disbelief a bit and this is such a sweet romance). I thoroughly enjoyed every moment Fox and Noah spent together, as well as getting to know them and how they threw caution to the wind in order to pursue their dream life together. 4.5 rounded up
Sophia Soames has knocked it out of the park yet again! She is absolutely magic at creating relatable characters who feel like real friends, those you can get drunk with and put the world to rights. Noah is a forty something doctor convinced he has zero game. While on holiday, he meets Riley, a dedicated headteacher. What follows isn't a typical meet cute, it’s messy, confusing, and leads to the best sex of Noah's life. Panicking about heartbreak, Noah runs away, leaving a gutted Riley wondering what happened. When they reconnect back home, they slowly rebuild their bond over late night phone calls, working through deep seated insecurities and trust issues. Then enters a little boy named Bay, whom I absolutely adored! He becomes the absolute centre of their world, bringing a whole new level of true love into their lives. Underneath the laughs, this story is a brilliant, honest, and heartwarming look at how two broken men can find love when they least expect it. It completely grabs you, and you can't help but root for Noah, Riley, and cheeky Bay. A special mention to Noah’s hilarious mum, she was an absolute hoot! I cannot recommend this upbeat, beautiful book enough. Highly recommended! 🥰
Honestly I just love anything this woman writes, and this quickly became a favorite of mine!
Noah and Fox have a messy, delicious fling during a Holliday, but what happenes when you go back home and you feel like a part of you is missing? Their fling was everything I needed to read and so much more. They have flaws, they are funny, messy and simply woubderfool.
What started as an awkward conversation over the phone turned into so much more. To see how they navigate real life and their growing want and need and want for eachother were simply woubderfool. It’s messy, funny hillerious at times and allot of emotions that just ends in the best way possible.
Can I just say how much I freaking love Bailey everyone should have a person like that in their love or should they?
Some side characters were just hillerious and so extremely funny.
This was such a sweet, feel-good read, that left me with a huge smile on my face and so, so happy! Fox is basically me: impulsive, gets attached easily and falls in love in a nanosecond. Noah is usually just the exact opposite: controlled, with a basically solitary life where everything is compartmentalized and in its place. What he didn’t account for was the way a hungover and sun-burnt Noah would upend his world. I love how they couldn’t wrap their heads around what was happening to them, a true whirlwind affair that looks suspiciously as love at first sight. These two forty-something men are a mess, but they are so good together, you can’t help but root for them and just adore them! The epilogue (especially the one from the third – and scene-stealing – main character’s POV) is epic!
4.5 stars. The story starts off with a (painful) meeting between two MCs who were most definitely not looking for a relationship. When Fox is unable to walk, Noah is quite happy to carry him around. Both are convinced that this needs to stay as a short holiday fling - it definitely can't be more as they live on different sides of the UK...or so they try to convince themselves. Both have very different struggles on the social side, which were written with great sensitivity. Fox's school and the people there were wonderful. What I particularly enjoyed - instead of a fluffy beach story where they are together in no time, there was a lot more depth to their lives afterwards, and a lot of effort to finally reach their HEA.
It was cute and hot, fun and too much, very British, and it worked! First, MMCs in their forties are so few and it’s so refreshing! They both were settled in their professional lives but so insecure on the personal side! They both saw more in the other than in themselves. Noah’s bad habit of literally running when anxious or overwhelmed but Fox never letting him go too far away was perfect. And yeah, falling in love in a few days, and uprooting their lives on a whim was too much. Bailey’s insertion between all this should have been shut down. But it’s, again, too much and yet perfectly what they needed. A mess, but a loving one. A family built with love and goodness and meddling people, but exactly what Noah and Fox (and Bailey) needed. A great read !
I am a huge Sophia Soames fan and always run as fast as I can to read her books when they come out. There is something comforting and real about the way she gets in her characters' heads, and there is usually good mental health rep as well. This book is about slightly older MCs, which is so good to see - not everyone is a pert and perky 25yo!!. I loved how the MCs were together, and how they both found parts of themselves they were missing through this relationship. There were some highly unrealistic aspects - Fox's horrible friends, insta-parenthood - but I was willing to accept these in exchange for such a sweet read.
Well, Noah and Fox are just lovely. Sophia manages to make all of her characters so interesting and these two are no exception. It takes skill to make us like a 40 year old doctor who is still going on holiday with his parents – but it works. Lovely parents too. There are difficulties to overcome and the guys have to work for their happy ever after, but what a lovely happy ever after it is. And with the arrival of 12 year old Bailey, the story took another lovely turn. Delight to read from start to finish.
For the first part of this book I was happy, I liked what was happening, and the chemistry between Noah and Fox was super good. Then started the second part and I was hooked. It became hard to put it down to do anything else than read. I'm so besotted with Bailey Butcher (excuse me, Bailey Fairweather) that's not even fun. Can a vacation change your life? Well, according to We Need To Talk, it can. Definitely recommended.
Fantastic! I loved Fox and Noah and later, Bailey. Soames shows great warmth, understanding and delight in these characters as they navigate their new reality. Soames writes in such a visceral style, you feel every lick and kiss and hug. Love above all.
Four little words that no one ever wants to hear from a past or current hook up… we need to talk…. Noah & Riley have a messy arse one night holiday fling that was supposed to be just that a holiday fling. Then real life happens and guess who are back into each other’s lives. What starts with an awkward af conversation turns into meaningful soul bonding conversations. When things are starting to hit that perfect sweet spot, enter Bailey, the boy who is about to change everything once again. Bailey takes what is an amazing growing connection and makes it something stronger and better, something that you know will forge these mens connections for a lifetime. The emotional connections of these men is so palpable who a truly brilliant writer is able to bring this amount of depth in what could be a fairly simple plotline, just shows the true genius that they are as a writer.
