In this exciting volume:
A DEVIL OF A CASE
A killer stalks a rich man's family, leaving a white glove at the scene of each crime. His latest victim leaves a dying message—claiming the killer is from Hades itself! Is Conan dealing with the devil?
Then Conan meets Satan...Satan Onizuka, that is, a washed-up rock star in demonic makeup. But is his devilish persona just an act for the fans? When Satan's agent is murdered, Conan starts to wonder what evil thoughts lurk beneath the mascara...
Gosho Aoyama (青山剛昌) is a Japanese manga artist. He is best known as the creator of the manga series Detective Conan (known in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom as Case Closed).
Aoyama made his debut as a manga artist with the work Chotto Matte which was published in the weekly magazine Shōnen Sunday on winter of 1987. Shortly after that, another work by Aoyama, Magic Kaito, was published on the same magazine.
I think all my reviews says that every volume is like “amazing” or “in love” and that’s true cause I really truly enjoy reading Conan ❤️😍
1. We start with Eri-san (Ran’s mom) being suspected in having an affair but it turns out it’s a check up for her cat lol.
2. The cutest thing is when both of them Eri-san and Mouri both dressed up like their first date which is cute!!! Those two are hardcore Tsundere!! And it makes sense why Eri-san likes Goro her cat since he’s sleeps like Mouri!!! Which is like perfect!
3. AND THEN we have another drama of Sato and Takagi which is never boring tbh!! I like how everyone in the police dept is worked up to know who gave her the ring like they are all up for the drama!
4. Now let’s talk about the case of the murder for the mystery writer.. he is murderer like having his ex-editor die and hitting his current editor with a newspaper like wtf????? Anyways I’m glad he’s dead.
5. I like that this case Conan didn’t use the sleeping needle (cuz Sato was there) which is kinda refreshing.
6. When takagi told Sato “will you wear my ring?” IMMA WEAR YOUR RING !!
7. We move to the next case which I loved, about the murder of the rich girl in the house that is in the middle of the forest, leaving all of the drama aside I actually loved how the grandson of the old lady was later on working in the restaurant holding his red knife. I just adored it and I hope we see him again soon!!
8. Also the fact that the stone in he fish tank can be a weapon when broken is like new information for me!
9. We end the volume with a new lead to Hondou and Mizanushi Rena identity with HEIJI!! I’m all ready!!
Onto the next volume, Currently (Dec.23.2017) the author of Conan is taking a break due medical issues which gives me more time to catch up 💪 yays!
Ini salahsatu Ar c yg kusuka, sih. Soalnya duo kombo Akai sama Conan tuh aduh aduh pokoknya.
The latest volume of Case Closed has Detective Conan another murder mystery to be solved. This one involves a well off individual and the one who is murdered leaves a hint that maybe only Conan can catch in order to bring the wrongdoer to justice. The next story has to deal with a past his prime rock star named Satan Onizuka. It is a fun departure from the usual type of people involved and a welcome change-up. The entire story from start to finish was very intriguing. The next case isn't so much a case as Detective Richard Moore is on the move....running from something...but to say more gives away the enjoyment of the story. Another solid entry to the Case Closed series!
Interesting stories, including a funny one where Mori or running from mystery people who seem to guess his every evasive move! A KISS wannabe rockstar insists his make-up proves his innocence. Also, back to the Black Organization story line.
Another case that connects Eisuke and his past to Rena Mizunashi, followed by a short intermezzo of a case with a devil. Lastly new details to Rena Mizunashi are being discovered.
General Synopsis: As mentioned above, I am going to write a proper review for this soon, but I have a few books ahead of this one in the queue, so I cannot stop reading DC NOW! That's sacrilege. I have decided to read all the chapters available up to now (we are almost to 1000!) As you can see, I am totally fangirling over here and I don't care, because this is one of my favorite manga series, ever! But all of this aside, there are a few things I wanted to list so I don't need to go back and look everything up when I do finally sit down and write my fangirl review. ✌🏻
DO NOT click on the spoiler link if you don't want to read all the cases in this volume, because it will ruin it for you. On the other hand, if you're a fan like me or are looking for a certain case (and please note, these are how I have set the cases), etc. click away, that's why it's there.
Another spoiler link, so don't click if you don't want to ruin this manga. I am going to include the characters introduced or as the series continues are in this volume. Personally, I think us DC fans love certain characters more than other (yes, Heiji, I mean you!), so sometimes when we are re-reading this series (like all the time!) you might wish to start at a specific case or start when a certain character is involved.
Characters in this volume:
Personal Opinion: #1, I never call this CASE CLOSED. If you do, you're not a true fan of this series, so don't even bother reading my review or my personal opinions. I'm sorry if I offend you, but you offended me first by telling me you want to read CASE CLOSED or you just love Jimmy.
#2, as you can tell by #1, I read this online. I would never waste my money buying a manga series in english that cannot get the name correct and mess up the main characters to make it appear more "ENGLISH." I am so happy I don't run a blog and this isn't a review on Sailor Moon, #1, because I have a huge soap box tirade against DiC. I also don't think there is anything against reading something online. Comics, which is what manga are, are meant to be read and shared and sometimes paying over $10 is too much in my opinion. Plus, I read the newest chapters as soon as they are released from Japan, because I would never miss a release of DC. So this is my personal shout out to you translators from me, Thank You!
BLOOD TIES AND A TWISTED REVELATION The devoted fan of Rena introduces Eisuke, Ran, Sonoko, and Conan to an old news recording that reveals Rena's blood type as AB. Eisuke is convinced Rena can't be his sister since he once received a blood transfusion from her, and he has type O blood, which can only receive O. Sensing a deeper mystery, Conan warns Jodie about Eisuke's search for Rena. Their investigation leads them to Eisuke’s former mansion, where he discovers his birth certificate, confirming his blood type. Meanwhile, Kogoro, investigating an old murder at the mansion, finds the case tied to a former butler's death. But before he can unravel the truth, another murder shakes the house, with the owner found hanged in a locked room.
ROCKSTAR’S ALIBI AND A MURDER IN DISGUISE During a studio tour, the Detective Boys cross paths with Satan Onizuka, a visual kei rockstar. Initially scared of his intense persona, they later approach him for an autograph. Shortly after, a murder is discovered, and Satan becomes the prime suspect due to a recent altercation with the victim. However, his alibi seems airtight—his elaborate costume and makeup make it impossible for him to move unnoticed. Additionally, the lack of a mirror in his dressing room means he couldn’t have reapplied his makeup to maintain his disguise. Despite this, Conan remains suspicious and is determined to uncover how Satan managed to commit the crime without leaving a trace.
KOGORO ON THE RUN A panicked Kogoro insists he is being pursued but refuses to say by whom. Seeking refuge at Café Poirot, he pleads with Azusa to keep his whereabouts a secret. However, a careless slip from Azusa sets off a chaotic chase, forcing Kogoro to scramble for ways to evade his relentless pursuers.
Band ausmacht. Es wird richtig spannend und gefährlich. Passt also gut auf!
Insgesamt also ein recht guter Band.
