I made two recipes from this book and really enjoyed it! The steps were easy enough to follow and the friendly tips that the book gave throughout made it extremely helpful in terms of shopping, looking for the best buys, getting the most bang for your buck, making sure the food baked up just right, etc. It was a rather enjoyable experience all things considered, and another great resource to boost up my cooking acumen.

I'm in search of a good go-to casserole recipe... won't find it in here. This tome is full of dinners for the harried household: this can of soup, this bag of prefab whatever, these frozen veg.
Sometime that's needed... but an ENTIRE book full of the same?

Loved the pictures that go with most of the recipes. I love the fact that so many of the recipes contain ingredients that I already cook with and have on hand. I have made 2 recipes already with a third on deck for tomorrow.
