The pleasure of reading 'Deception' held me hostage longer than any book in my enjoyable reading history; I will not complain. As I read page for page, I wanted more... needed more.
This is no the final version of my review but I have to gather my thoughts from subspace in order to express myself in a manner deserving of the gift bestowed within this story.

I enjoyed this story.! Ladies this series is hot and one wild ride. I loved how Dominic Law and Ramesses worked together and respected each other. You have two crimes to solve without stepping on certain peoples toes. Dominic is a man's man, and nobodies fool. Ramesses is a great mentor and friend. I was surprise how certain events effected Ramesses. It also showed a very dark side to him, that I am not sure his wife has ever scene. It was good to see that everything in this lifestyle isn't all peaches and cream. One thing is for sure Dominic has his hands full with work and women. There were parts in the story that had me saying, say what.!! Are people crazy or just stupid. I will be looking forward to book# 3 in the Kink P.I. Series. I will also be looking forward to seeing how dirty these two alpha males will get.!!

Ladies and gentlemen, Shakir Rashaan the author of Deception (The King, P.I. Series: Book 2) has blown it out the park again with this installment of this series... If you are seeking intrigue and a lot of suspense with incrediible sexy love and scenes here is a well versed author who leaves his fans entertain and craving the next book... No Spoiler(s) just relax and read!
