P.S. Come Healed

Rate this book
P.S. Come Healed picks up where P.S. F*ck You left off. London isn't sure whether she wants to forgive Isaac's infidelity or move on, and she's in no rush to make a decision. While he's the most miserable he's ever been, London is at peace and shockingly content. If that's any indication of how she would cope if she got divorced, Isaac is in trouble, and he knows it.

Huncho feels as if he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. An addict for a mother, pending court cases, a football career that ended before it began, and newfound health issues. When an unexpected person comes along and starts being his safe space, he's shocked and intrigued. The only issue is with the age difference between them, she views Huncho as a kid. And worse than that, she deems him as a kid with mommy issues, and she doesn't have the desire to put on a cape. Any man that she entertains has to come to her already healed.

This was the follow-up I wasn't expecting but definitely needed! London was standing on business when she left Isaac sick and devastated! Was she wrong for the part she played, yes. However, Isaac just let his ego, and insecurities run amok! 🙄 Now from the outside looking in, he can see that London is completely unbothered by his absence, and he can't stand it! 🤷🏿‍♀️

Josie! My girl had her own and didn't want or need a man for a damn thang! Stacking her money, and loving on her family was good enough, until fate intervened.

Huncho was finally coming into his own. But with his legal issues looming, and the tension between he and his mother ever present, he was stressed. Getting to know Josie was a breath of fresh air for Huncho. He had never met a woman like her and really wanted to shoot his shot. But she kept throwing his youth and immaturity in his face, that he almost walked away. Almost.... I loved the dynamic between Josie and Huncho. Although they loved to crack young and old jokes with each other, their connection was undeniable, and you just knew that Josie's guard was going to come crashing down! Their coupling grew organically, and I loved that for them! 🥰

It was nice to learn that Hymn and Brion found their happily ever after, while Corey was still being a pain in their asses! 🤬 Now, I was disappointed in Isaac for all that whining and begging he was doing, that he did no actual work to get his wife back. 😤 I was sure that it was the end, and he would have deserved that too! Enjoyed this! 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

After reading PS F*CK YOU I felt London’s story was left unresolved so I’m glad we have a finale with this crew. It was the ending I didn’t know I needed but I’m glad I got it.

Mannn…..

This book was definitely worth reading. I absolutely loved Brion and Hymn’s relationship and was glad that he got Corey straight. I’m surprised that it took as long as it did. London and Isaac’s relationship was welcomed and they didn’t owe anyone any explanations. Now Josie and Huncho’s relationship was a shock but welcomed. There was drama and healing in this book. It was well written, flowed well and definitely kept my attention.

Loved the followed up. I didn’t think London would forgive Isaac but he definitely learned his lesson. The group of couples had their share of issues but the maturity and healing process showed up and out. I hope it’s a book 3.

Was happy to be able to see how things turned out with characters mentioned in the first book and we got to see the main characters from the first progress further with their lives. I’m happy that Huncho worked at getting himself together because he made things unnecessarily hard for himself.

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for P.S Come Healed by Natisha Raynor

Baby this was the healing, growth, and clarity I didn’t even know I needed! 👏🏽✨

I’m really happy that London took the time she needed to gain clarity about her marriage. Rushing back into something, especially when you’ve been hurt, isn’t easy and doing it while dealing with outside opinions makes it even harder. I respected her so much for stepping back, protecting her peace, and doing what was best for her. That kind of growth was beautiful to watch.

Now Isaac… listen… he better be on his BEST behavior because his stupid ass can absolutely get these hands. Period! 🤨👊🏽 Don’t play with London again.

And Corey… chile… Corey will forever be Corey 🙄 I am so sick of his miserable ass. You had 7 whole years to do right and still fumbled. At this point, go to hell and take that bitterness with you. No growth, no accountability… just exhausting.

Huncho definitely has some deep mommy issues, and honestly, I think a lot of what he went through stemmed from that. It was tough seeing how those wounds affected his decisions, but I’m hoping he truly learned from everything and starts moving differently. Growth is necessary, and I want better for him.

If this really is the end of the series (which I seriously hope it’s not 😩), it was an amazing ride from beginning to end. The character development, the emotions, the lessons everything came together perfectly. This series gave drama, growth, healing, and closure all in one.

Such a great series and a beautiful way to (possibly) close things out

I liked Josie and Huncho..Spoilers ahead

First let me say I'm not much for age gap romances but I did enjoy Josie and Huncho. Josie made sure he knew she wasn't gonna be his mama and he needed to fix his issues. Especially with her being older it can definitely spiral into her fixing his life. In the end they were a cute little romance.

Seeing Corey's life fall apart was awesome lol. He was a sucka and deserved everything he went through.

SPOILERS AHEAD
Once I realized London was going to forgive Issac I skipped their parts entirely. The stories weren't intertwined so I didn't miss anything. Going from two FMCs who stood on business to once whoes HUSBAND of all people disrespected her and she took him back? Insane. Was she wrong for chatting her ex? Absolutely, but she never stepped out of line so Issac going to have a whole threesome and then smirking in his wife's face? Yeah they should've just been co parents. Idc how sad and devastated Issac was. He was on bs.

I didn't let that ruin the book though. I just acted like their story didn't exist 😂

Healing Is a Journey

I need more of Josie and Huncho!!!…There was really deep moments, but they had me smiling so much!!!…Although he’s younger than her, he was mature enough to keep her interested!!!…She was too funny and wherever she could find a way for a joke, she made it!!!…
I still can’t believe Corey running around feeling like Brion did him wrong!!!…Hymn stepped in and stepped up big time for her and the triplets!!!…Now their family is growing!!!…I love that so much for both of them!!!…The fact that he retired to make sure he was present and accounted for with their family was beautiful!!!…
London made Isaac work for her heart again and she proves that she was okay with him or without him!!!…I was happy he took responsibility for his decision to be for the streets rather than blaming London for it!!!…Now that they are back and rocking, I hope it last for them!!!…

a beautiful wrap up ❤️

🚨SLIGHT SPOILERS🚨

Did it again! I would’ve fled from a 24 year old too, Josie 😂 wooo. But her and Huncho were so cute. I’m so glad he finally found some type of peace with their mother, because that trauma was really doing a number on him. I was hurt from him when he got that diagnosis, but he handled himself well.

Now, I despise cheaters. And I’m still mad at Isaac, but you can tell he’s genuinely sorry. Being a low down dawg isn’t truly who he is, so I was low-key rooting for him and London to get back together. She made him grovel and that’s all that matters. That’s her man period. Having a 3 piece still makes me wanna do him something though 😂

Omg BRION 🫠😂😩 I’d be hurt too girl. There’s 2 of them?! Wooo, Hymn stay off my girl 😂😂😂😂😂 the way he had to fold Corey though 🤏🏾 thangyaaaaa!

Must Read

Love me some Huncho. He finally figured things out. Josie was there for him and listened to h8m as he shared his dreams, fears and, medical issues. She offered advice and tried hard not to give in but little baby was applying that pressure. Baby put in that work and gave Josie enough to have her doing something she said she wouldn't be doing. Holding him down while he was gone. 😆
London tried to move pass her husband Issac infidelity and and enjoy her pregnancy. But people always find ways to be messy. He was sick all that begging. Should've trusted h8s wife in the beginning.
Hymn and Brion was still doing their thing. He wasn't playing about her. She just got to produce multiple babies. 😆
Hope mama stays sober. We might just need something on Destiny. Ijs.....lol

London and Isaac…. Brion and Hymn…. Josie and Huncho….

This book did not disappoint just like the first one. It picks up with London pregnant, living her life, and standing firm on her decision not to get back with her husband, Isaac. Isaac, meanwhile, is struggling. He can’t handle being away from his wife or missing out on her pregnancy.

Brion and Hymn’s relationship is thriving. They’re taking things to the next level and getting married. The triplets adore him, and honestly, everyone else does too.

Josie and Huncho meet and form an unexpected friendship. Having someone to talk to when you’re going through things is always helpful… until those feelings shift and it becomes something more.

Just read the book you won’t regret it. Just make sure you read P.S. F*ck You first. They flow perfectly together. 🔥📚🥰

Come correct or not at all!

Awwww yayyy! This was the perfect follow up to some of my favorite characters I’ve ever read about! Parts were raw, messy, tearful, joyful, and hurtful it all came together perfectly. The characters all had some growing and healing to do. Josie I loved her willingness to test the waters. Huncho’s peace came from the most unexpected places but was so essential to his healing. Family bonds were tested. Everything worked out as it should and nobody should ever want to be on the backend of a nasty read from Brion, Josie, or London their words cut deep 😝😂. Imani tried it in that nail shop too bye ma’am you reap what you sow. Corey you deserve the life you have. I absolutely loved it all. 10/10

Yessssssssssssss, we were rocking with Brion and Hymn real bad. I so wanted to see Cory get rock so I was ecstatic to see Hymn rock that nicca. I like the fact that we also got to see London and Issac’s journey apart and their reconciliation as well especially with her being pregnant. It was so funny how Isaac couldn’t handle that pregnant nookie🤣🤣 I liked the banter between Josie and Huncho and how she rode his 10 month bid out with him. I liked the that Brion and Alisa was pregnant at the same time but they didn’t do any pregnant scenes together nor did we find out what Alisa and Dre had. I really liked this conclusion but I’m secretly hoping that it’s a part three maybe more about Josie and Huncho.

Come Healed

Enjoyed it!!

I'm so glad that London and Issac worked out their problems and got back together. Issac was dead ass wrong for what he did, but as the saying goes, " you don't miss your water until your well runs dry." That'll learn you are my grandmother used to say...lol!

Brion and Hymn just cute for no reason. I love the way that they love each other. Hymn don't play about Brion, and ol' Corey found out when got Debo'd!!

Huncho and Josie, yep I knew she was going to fall for the YN. He was everything she thought she didn't want.

This book covered a lot of ground and was a very good read!!!!

Why would Brion was her sister to mess around with her man’s brother. That sounds like trouble to me. I know that’s exactly where Josie will end up

Josie is mad that Joey keeps calling instead of putting on her big girl panties and ending it with him. Why ghost instead of being mature. Then she says Huncho is a kid…

For some reason, I didn’t feel the chem with Josie and Huncho.

Miamore is so disrespectful. Just trash. It’s a shame she got to capitalize off being a trifling heifer.

So glad we got more of Brion and Hymn. And I love that London took her time and made the decisions that felt good to her in the moment.

The ended we needed.

We all wanted to know what London next move was going to be regarding Isaac and we got it plus a little messy extra. Don't fret because she had him out here sick because her moves continued to be boss ones.

Now the tea is Huncho because my boy pulled the big one. Got put in his place and supported at the same time. I am not going to spoil it but I loved every minute of them. They had jokes for each other which brought the fun aspect after all the heavy stuff.

Now Hymn... sir that one two was long overdue.

I hate to see it end but enjoyed every bit.

Respectfully, Come Healed!!

I liked this book, but the first book (P.S. F*ck You) is my favorite. I love the way everyone in this book is in their healing stage and going to therapy to continue on to have healthy relationships.

P.S. Come Healed to me stands out as a beacon for those that are navigating the aftermath of life’s challenges. Natisha Raynor has crafted more than just a book, she created an aesthetic and an emotional space where healing is not just a goal for the character, but a beautiful and a vibrant reality.

Loveeeddd

The crew is ALL back together. Brion and Hymn are doing big things. Huncho has/is maturing so much, he's kicking it with a very "unexpected" woman, and London has put her foot all the way down. That's simply the beginning though - you'll have to read to get the drama, the healing, and the HEA. I honestly wouldn't be mad if Raynor gave an update later.🤔 Happy Reading Y'all!💋

P.S. Excellent Story

I loved revisiting with Brion, Hymn and the crew! Even though pregnant, London is standing firm on her decision to separate from Isaac. Josie is still trying to figure out her life. She has so many irons in the fire, not particularly looking for love, then along comes that YN Huncho. Brion and Hymn are still strong, but a surprise is in store! Excellent read!

Brion and Crew

In this book, there is a POV from precious characters.

Issac and London are dealing with the consequences of his decisions.

Brion and Hymn are focusing on the next phase of their relationship while getting unexpected news.

Corey is still suffering from his decisions and refuses to take accountability for his actions.

And then we have an unlikely coupling.

This read was a bit different but enjoyable.

Relatable!

I enjoyed the P.S. series. The series was real, relatable & rejuvenating. Part two was a great follow up to the first book. I love Josie and Huncho. They are comical. I was satisfied with the outcome for London and Isaac. I am happy for Brion and love she and Hymn together. It would be nice to know how things turned out with Josie & Huncho, Alisha & Dre, Divine & Mark as well as the mother's journey forward.

Entertaining

I like that the lives of the characters in the first book was included in this book so you get to see how everything is going. I still love book one more, but this book was good and just as funny as book one.
For the record there is no child support court. It’s family court and you apply for child support. I also appreciate the authors info on Isaac’s Syndrome. I have RA, but have been experiencing a different type of pain that my Dr has me getting X-rays for.

a nice glimpse on the characters again….

There were good moments in the book. I especially enjoyed seeing more of London and Isaac however, this was just additional fluff. I liked Huncho but it wasn’t enough substance to his character and the growth. Corey deserved those ass whoopings but at that point it was too little too late. The cover was fire and really grabbed my attention. Beautiful artwork.

a lovely ending

I enjoyed this part two. I need Corey to get some type of punishment because sir what? Also Huncho and Joise had me smiling hard, didn’t see it coming but I loved it. London and Issac, I loved how London stood on business. I’d recommend for a cutesy read with a hint of spice.

Natish Raynor, thank you for this crew. I enjoyed each of their growth. To see Josie finally living her life was so good. London learned to love herself, Issac found himself and for a man that's a great growth. I love the growth in Huncho I think he was my favorite. If you want to give us a holiday read on them or updates after while I for one wouldn't mind. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Bring back proper editing

Simple, easy, engaging read.

Who is doing editing? Isaac's name was spelled so many different ways, I thought they were introducing new characters. I would have loved to see better editing and a finished product without so many spelling errors, but here we are.

This could have been a great second book, but I didn’t like how it abruptly ended. It felt rushed, like there were important pieces missing. There was so much more that could have been explored, and instead, we’re left to just assume what happens next.

Overall, it had potential, but the ending definitely left me wanting more... and not in a good way.
