Rate this book
Set alongside the events of the Sainte Madeleine series, this companion novella revisits its core characters, shedding light on moments that slipped between the cracks of As The Rain Falls. Through seven additional chapters, relationships take on new weight, friendships deepen, and seemingly minor choices reveal lasting consequences for Cassandra Rivera’s little gang.

Condensation invites readers to travel back to Le Port, and makes them discover that there are always more secrets hidden beneath the surface.

What a great novella!

I’m so happy to dive back into the st madeleine series and read so many new characters pov! I really enjoyed the Alice and Kayla chapters the most they were definitely my favourites because we were able to see more of Alice’s character and her personality. She’s a super funny character and i laughed many times during her inner monologue, but we can also see a part of her that feels very deeply and who’s very determined which i absolutely adored.
She is definitely my second favourite character in the series right after my girl Cassie!

This novella made me even more intrigued about Matteo’s character and i cannot wait for his story!

Let’s talk about cassiebeckett now!!! They are the cutest people EVER. I loved seeing Beckett so happy and in love with cassandra. Her being the only person that can make him feel peaceful is everything to me!!
Their chapters were so adorable and fun and full of love I can’t wait to see more of them as a couple and more of Cassandra’s journey.

A strong force of the series is definitely the Found Family aspect of it and i am so here for it!!

This was such a fun read! You can clearly see how the author’s writing improved so much which makes me so excited for what’s next to come with that series!🩷

i don’t usually write long reviews, but this series is just so important to me i felt like i should give it a go. first of all, i looooved reading all the characters povs. i've seen some stuff lo has posted on twitter/instagram but actually being able to read it in a book with more pages and context was something i truly appreciated!
ok, now getting into the actual chapters, i'm lowkey devastated. lo said this was a happy novella, but i cried. several times. all theses characters journeys are just so beautiful, and you can see how much care was put into it which makes the story really captivating & makes me feel like coming home. i wish i could go through everything that happened on these 109 pages, but i fear i don't have the talent...
the one thing i want to say is how excited i am for ALL books in this series... every single one of them has caught my attention, and i can't wait to read it!!
