Definitely not my kind of historical read but gave it a go as I love Cat’s books. Wow, I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn’t put it down! The writing is sharp as always and loved again that Cat gives you another strong female character. Totally not what I expected and also loved the twist at the end which I didn’t see coming! More than your average regency romance.
If historical romance isn’t normally your jam give it a go, you won’t be disappointed!
