The guns. The crew. The three men I had absolutely no business falling for. I had a handle on all of it, right up until someone blew up a building and took one of their own with it.
Now I'm at their clubhouse, on lockdown, surrounded by men who run guns for a living while a fake ATF agent with a personal vendetta closes in on all of us. Including me.
Turns out I'm not just collateral. I'm the target.
Deacon looks at me like I'm already his and won't say a word about it. Dallas says everything with that stupid wink of his. And Gauge shows up. Every single time, without a word.
Three men. One woman. A very real enemy who has been watching me since before any of this started.
I came to Layborn to stop running. I didn't expect to end up in the middle of a war.
And now I'm realizing I'll burn the whole desert down before I let anyone take these men from me.
I'm not choosing. I already decided.
Why choose when losing any one of them isn't something you're willing to survive?
Their Mark is the second book in the Metal Reapers MC why-choose series and must be read in order.
This book contains:

Savannah Rylan writes dirty-talking motorcycle club and mafia romance filled with ruthless men, ride-or-die loyalty, and women who don’t back down.
She has a soft spot for anti-heroes with scars, found family dynamics, and enemies-to-lovers stories that make her heart melt. If there’s a morally gray biker growling “mine,” she’s one happy girl.
When she’s not plotting revenge arcs and steamy showdowns, Savannah is wrangling two tiny humans, two chaotic dogs, and a husband who has fully accepted that fictional bikers pay the bills. She’s known for rocking rainbow hair (usually some shade of pink or purple), surviving East Coast winters with dramatic flair, and drinking coffee like it’s water.
Originally from sunny California, she now lives where it snows, which she deeply resents. But at least it gives her more time to stay inside and write about men who prefer leather cuts over parkas.
If you love possessive heroes, high-stakes drama, and spice that fogs up the windows, you’re in the right place.
This is the second book in the Metal Reapers MC series and it picked up right where Their Claim left off. This book had everything from spicy scenes, to suspense to heartbreak earning five stars from me.
The ATF Agent (?) is still lurking around trying to get Char to open up about the men in her life. Just how involved is this agent and what is her agenda. The guys are starting to open up to Char about what the club is all about all the while being extra spicy with the lovely bartender and trying to keep her safe.
Tragedy struck the club so now they are trying to regroup and figure out who is out to get to them. With everything that has happened I cannot wait to see where this author will take me next with this series.
THEIR MARK is the second instalment in Savannah Rylan’s contemporary, adult METAL REAPERS MC erotic, reverse harem, why choose MC romance series focusing on club president Deacon, Dallas, enforcer Gauge and bar-manager Charlotte ‘Char’ Lancaster. THEIR MARK should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up after the events and cliff hanger of book one THEIR CLAIM.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from four first person perspectives (Deacon, Dallas, Gauge and Char) THEIR MARK picks up after the events of THEIR CLAIM in which two of their own go missing. A fake ATF agent is targeting the Metal Reapers MC, taking aim at bar manager Charlotte Lancaster. As the MC go into lock down, Char finds herself a virtual prisoner but a prisoner who will be protected by the Metal Reapers MC. Tech wiz Plug does a deep dive into the possibilities, and what he uncovers proves there is more to the story than they could have ever imagined. The world building focuses on the search for the truth, and the protection of the members of the Metal Reapers MC. Not all is as it appears to be, not everyone will survive, and the ultimate betrayal comes at the hands of an ATF agent who may or may not be the real deal.
The relationship between Char and Deacon, Dallas and Gauge continues to be a reverse harem, a why choose relationship in which all three men claim Char as their own, hoping Char will accept the men in return but our heroine is struggling with the who and what of the Reapers Metal MC, and must decide if this is her future, or walk away from the men with whom she is falling in love. The $ex scenes are erotic and provocative.
Once again, we are reintroduced to a large ensemble cast of dynamic, determined and often questionable characters including Deacon, Dallas and Gauge; cook DeShawn Johnson, MJ aka Mary Jane, and several members of the Metal Reapers MC: IT tech Plug, Baitfish, Mace, and Rat, as well as ATF ‘agent’ SA Monica De Fleur.
THEIR MARK is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, obsession and mayhem, friendships and love. The character driven premise is edgy, dramatic and dark; the romance is desperate and impassioned; the characters are determined, purposeful and charismatic. THEIR MARK ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
After a first book that basically laid all the groundwork, this second installment wastes zero time throwing you straight into the fire, delivering on the promise of higher stakes and faster pacing. Char’s connection with Deacon, Dallas, and Gauge has deepened in all the ways you want, but trust? That’s still a fragile, messy thing on both sides. The guys don’t fully trust her, she definitely doesn’t fully trust them and honestly, can you blame her when their lives revolve around guns, secrets, and morally grey decisions? That tension adds a sharp edge to every interaction. But any illusion of control shatters fast. An explosion. A devastating loss within the MC. A fake ATF agent sniffing around with bad intentions. And the chilling realization that someone has been watching them all along. Suddenly, this isn’t just danger, it’s war. The lockdown at the clubhouse cranks the intensity way up, and I loved how it becomes a turning point for Char. Because she doesn’t just stay, she steps up. Char refuses to be sidelined, demanding answers and proving she’s just as fierce and protective as the men she’s fallen for. Watching her carve out her place in the MC family was incredibly satisfying. She earns her spot, and you feel it. And yes—that heat? Still absolutely scorching. As Deacon, Dallas, and Gauge start to accept that Char is more than a complication, the emotional and physical stakes both rise. I’m still firmly Team Gauge (those quiet, capable, hands-only types are undefeated), but I’ll admit the others are closing the gap fast. And let’s be real, the moment they all collide together? That’s going to shift everything. This installment leans harder into the action, suspense, and emotional fallout, and it doesn’t pull its punches. Loyalties are tested, lines are drawn, and no one is walking away unscathed. Fair warning though: just like book one, it leaves you hanging. That cliffhanger? Again -brutal. Now, all we can do is wait. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Things have definitely hit the fan in the second book. Why are the MC and their businesses being targeted? Who is behind it all? It is too professional, so who is behind it? Can they trust Char and her friends when they know they are having secret meetings? Have they got something to do with it? Is it better to keep Char close to them, use their attraction to one another to keep her close?
Char is struggling because of her past. Can she trust these men after what's happened? What are they into? What are they bringing to the bar and the town? And when an ATF agent comes asking questions, making her worried she is getting in over her head, can she put a wall back up between them?
The men have to make a decision that's best for the club, and Char is coming with them, where they can protect her, especially seeing as she is on the ATF's radar.
Deacon, Guage, and Dallas have to acknowledge that Char means more to them than just a good time. Their feelings have deepened. Char may be struggling with who they are and what they do, but she is theirs; she just needs time to catch up with them.
The MC has to find out who has put a target on their back, and why now? Can they be one step ahead instead of playing catch-up? When they do, what will happen?
This book leaves us on another cliffhanger, so we'll have to wait to find out what happens to Char and her men.

Baitfish and Rat have been attacked and Baitfish has been taken. Rat was found but he was badly beaten. The hunt for Baitfish continues, they find tire tracks in the desert and follow them until they disappear. They find a bunker and start searching for Baitfish and when they find him the chair he is in is wired with explosives. Baitfish tells Deacon, Dallas and Gauge to get out but he also gives them a clue, he tells them that she said an eye for an eye. Meanwhile Char is at the bar and Special Agent Monica DeFleur is asking questions about Deacon, Dallas and Gauge. Special Agent Monica DeFleur also visits Char at her apartment attached to the bar. Agent DeFleur asks Char about her sexual encounters with Dallas, Deacon and Gauge. When the men come back from their quest for Baitfish they are all grieving. Char tries to help them out and makes food for all of them. Deacon decides that Char needs to be at the clubhouse where they can keep her safe. Deacon ends up spending the night with Char. She has now had sex with Deacon, Dallas and Gauge. She has feelings for all of them. Will they figure out who is after them and why? Will Deacon, Dallas and Gauge claim Char as theirs? Will they ever be safe again? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book via Booksprout.
This book started exactly from the end of the other book. Char meets an agent, Monica, that is asking around about her boys, Deacon, Gauge and Dallas. They both hear gunshots and a big explosion not far from the bar. Char is concerned about her boys but she was suspicious about Monica. They were also grieving the loss of one of their mc brothers and Dallas took it the worse. Char felt closer to him and was trying to help him through his feelings but he lashes out on her. When the bar was attacked, Deacon, Gauge and Dallas agreed that she was safer at the Metal Reapers compound. While at the compound, the guys all agree that they have feelings for Char. How they move forward is that they will all be in a relationship with her, respectfully. Char past started to come to the surface even though she tried her hardest to keep hidden. The club was being cyber-attacked and had to go offline. But despite all of their security walls they were being breached. The truth was Monica had something to do with the trouble the club was experiencing and no matter how they tried to apprehend her, she slipped through their traps. She also had a connection to CHar’s past and agreed to protect her at all costs.

Their Mark by Savannah Rylan is the second title in the author's Metal Reapers MC series and was a good read. As a continuation of the story started in Their Claim, it is still a spicy, biker, romantic suspense, why choose romance and kept me hooked to see where the story would go and who is behind the action from the first title. Char is coming round to dealing with the three men she is attracted to but when tragedy strikes the MC and they loose one of their own they draw back to the clubhouse for safety and take Char with them. Char's attraction and desire for Deacon, Dallas and Gauge only grows and strengths as a result of the MC diving further into the mystery of the person or people circling them. Trust continues to build between the four of them and the steamy and spicy moments Char and each of the men have on a one to one basis start really cementing a real relationship. An ATF agent that isn't an agent, danger perhaps not directly involving the MC and intrigue, action and spicy romance all easily kept me turning the pages quickly to see how things are left before the next instalment.

This is the 2nd book in the Metal Reapers MC trilogy. They books (so far 1 & 2) end in cliffhangers... and are NOT standalones, you have to read the books in order.
The plot is interesting... the books are heavy on the romantic suspense... they are fast paced and well written. I like the characters.
I enjoyed the 2nd book more than the 1st (I think because it took so long to set everything up in the 1st & Book 2 just jumped in where book 1 left off).
I can't wait to read the ending - Book 3!!
Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
*MC *romantic suspense *why choose (each of the 3 men are with the women, but so far they haven't done anything all together, other than listen to her with one of the others) *morally grey MCs *dark romance *told in 1st person POV between all 4 of the main characters *2nd book in a trilogy that have to be read in order *dark topics are referenced (drugs, PTSD, abuse, kidnapping, death of loved ones, guns, and much more)
Thank you to the author (Savannah Rylan), publisher & Booksprout for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Their Mark (book 2) 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5, Spice - 🌶️🌶️🌶️ In this one our FMC is still fighting but also letting her guard come slowly down to our MMC’s. We do have some mourning that comes in this book. None of our main characters though. We start learning more about the MMC’s and more of the side characters. Our FMC has now decided whose side she is on and will do anything to protect them. The story leaves you on another cliff hanger so I am currently waiting for the next part. The spice in this one is still good, it’s still only the FMC and 1 MMC though. But I have a feeling that will not be the case in the next story. Each of our MMC’s are currently struggling in this one it seems but it’s the perfect opportunity for the FMC to show her loyalty and let herself realize what she herself wants. She’s still our protective baddie but she’s learning to allow others in.
This second book in the series shows some improvement over the first, but many of the same issues remain. There are still noticeable gaps in the story, and the overall dynamic continues to lean heavily into toxicity without meaningful resolution. While dark romance often explores difficult themes, here those elements don’t feel fully developed or addressed. The female main character, in particular, shows very little growth, which makes it hard to stay invested in her journey. The relationships don’t evolve in a satisfying way, and the emotional progression feels limited. Overall, a step up from the first installment, but still lacking in character development and narrative cohesion.

Book 2 of the Metal Reapers MC series. Books should be read in series order for maximum enjoyment.
'And now I'm realizing I'll burn the whole desert down before I let anyone take these men from me. I'm not choosing. I already decided. Why choose when losing any one of them isn't something you're willing to survive?'
The characters were very complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and exciting and well paced. World building continues to excel and impress. All in all a great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!
Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!.

This intriguing story continues as Char finds herself conflicted between the feelings the is developing for Dallas, Deacon and Gauge and uncertainty regarding their intentions and if giving them her trust will be the biggest mistake she has ever made.
When their MC is being attacked Dallas, Deacon and Gauge go into protector mode especially when it comes to an agent who seems to be everywhere they don’t want her to be. They bring Char to the clubhouse, but they soon realize that she doesn’t need saving but a force to be reckoned with.
The suspense and action only escalate as the surprises keep coming and all the while the depth of feelings and the heat between Char and her men only heightens.
Their Mark is the second book in the Metal Reapers MC series. Char has been questioned by a fake ATF agent. Deacon, Dallas and Gauge have lost a man due to an unknown group of people who have been watching them. It's an edgy sharp story with alot of action, suspense and mystery. The men are very protective of Char and want to keep her safe. They will do anything for Char. The story is easy to read and it will keep you entertained and interested in their relationship. I'm looking forward to the next book.

This is the second book in the series which continues where the first book left off as the series must be read in order. This book ramps up the action and suspense where Char finds herself torn between her bar 'family' and the men of the MC. After a series of events which includes an explosion, a loss in the MC family, a fake FBI agent nosing around, and the knowledge that they are all being watched and no one is safe, Char chooses to stand with her men. There is a cliffhanger as each book in the series builds toward the next until what I hope is an amazing, action packed, satisfying end.

Review of advanced reader copy received from the author
After having read the first in this series, Their Claim, I was hoping for an intense follow up, and wasn't disappointed.
We get to read more about the individual characters, their backgrounds and their traumas whilst they're trying to navigate their way through who is trying to ruin them and why.
Their relationship with Char unfolds even more and she starts to accept her feelings for them.
Book 2 in the series and reading the first book is required. The MC is fighting against an unknown enemy and they lose one of their own. The start of the book begins with a bang (literally) and is high action and heat. It slows down as they try to regroup and it becomes the lull before the storm but also gives Char a moment to get to know the guys. Ends without answers and I can't wait for the final installment.

I started this book right after finishing the first book and could not put it down for anything. I love everything about Char, Dec, Gauge and Dallas. They work so imperfectly together. The fact that she just so seamlessly seems to always be wanting to make sure they are taken care of is just perfection. Can’t wait for the next book.

I enjoyed reading Their Mark. Once I started reading this book I didn't want to stop reading. I was hooked and wanted to keep reading to find out what was going to happen. The characters are spicy hot together. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone so I won't go into details. I will say it is a great book and well worth the time spent reading it.

This is the 2nd book in the series. A why choose reverse harem biker book, absolutely bring it on! I love these types of books and this one doesn't disappoint. Just as much action and suspense while the romance melts the pages however you will need the next book to get the rest of the story. Loving this series so far.

This happens to be the second part to the Metal Reapers Mc, and this is the story of Gage, Deacon & Dallas and they gorgeous bartender from the bar they just bought. This one starts with an explosion that takes out one of the members of the Metal Reapers now they have her at the clubhouse on lockdown for her safety, because there is a fake ATF agent with a personal vendetta closes in on all of us that meaning her too. And the worst part ids she is the target can they protect her?
Book 2 of Metal Reapers MC series. A threat has come to the club, but everything isn’t as it seems. I like that Char refuses to be in the dark, that the men realize she is a person, and they begin to respect and trust her more.

Book 2 in the Metal Reapers series. following on from Their Claim, Deacon. Dallas. Gauge and Char are stilling trying to make it work. Enter a mysterious group target the MC's businesses and getting questioned by the ATF. Intense and even more suspense, an easy to read why choose that ends on another cliff hanger.
First off, how did I get this off KU if it's "not published yet"? Thoughts?
Anywho, it's better than the first one, but I won't be finishing this series. There are too many gaps where things kind of jump off page and when we get the action back, it's like you skipped a moment you really probably should have seen.
Char and her bikers had me captivated with this book. A fake ATF agent questions Char and now she is a mark and in danger. She is on lock down under the protection of her bikers, but she doesn't take it lightly and demands to know what's going on. Will they survive the fallout of what's coming after them.

This is the second piece of Char, Deacon, Dallas, and Gauge's story and I highly recommend that you read book one, Their Claim first if you haven't yet. As for me. I was quickly pulled back in and totally wrapped up in the danger, suspense, sizzling heat, emotion, action, twists and the ever-increasing tension. Another stunning cliffy awaits as does a desperate need for book 3.
This book picks up right where Their Claim left off. The decision has been made, Char is going to help Deac, Gauge and Dallas. There is only one problem, now an ATF agent is questioning Char about the guys. When tragedy strikes and a man from the club falls, the club goes on lockdown and Char is brought to the clubhouse. Who is this ATF agent? Why is she only speaking to Char?
Their mark continues the journey of Char and her men. She's approached by an ATF agent asking questions that don't make sense and with knowledge she shouldn't have. Her guys are doing all they can to find the agent and protect her from their secrets. Who's after the crew? Why does the agent keep approaching Char. Find out in this installment!
I am not totally living this and also not totally hating it. The plot moves along and there is plenty of drama. It’s been sad too. But I still find some annoying sections of conversation between main characters. Not sure on the intrigue but the cliffhanger was great, didn’t see that coming so going to persevere with the next book.
